The God Who Forgives
Jesus Christ gave His followers a pattern for prayer that includes seeking forgiveness daily. The invitation to regular repentance is not a means of renewing our salvation, but rather a maintenance plan for our fellowship with the Lord. When we trust Jesus as our Savior, our sins are forgiven forever. The stains from our past, present, and future wrongs are wiped from our record; however, we're a fallen people so we do continue to commit sin.
With the exception of Jesus Christ, n

Remember this: The Nazis started by burning books, ACTA/PIPA/SOPA started by burning websites. Megaupload was the first, it will not be the last. When the masses no logner have information, they will be easy prey for the politicians to mould and shape to their will.
Wikipedia has so much copyrighted but not authorized material that its, by my estimate, 15 million web pages will become victims of ACTA in short order if laws supporting the ACTA treaty, signed secretly on October 1, 2011, are passed. That is equal to the number of Holocaust deaths of all groups, not just Jews. It is a bastion of modern knowledge, and let's face it, knowledge is power, they take our knowledge away, they take our power away, where does our power go? To them, of course. The United States Congress is proposing two laws that address the problem of wide-scale unlicensed distribution on the Internet of motion pictures, songs, trademarked goods, and patented pharmaceuticals.
One of the proposals is called SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and would direct search engines in the United States to block Internet sites outside the United States that are primarily engaged in distributing unlicensed content.Another proposal called PIPA (Protect IP Act) would block websites located in the United States as well. The Obama administration is putting a stop to these proposals. It wants the Internet companies and the content companies to get together and come up with more functional and less destructive solutions.

This week I received messages from two different people (through Etsy and Storenvy) offering to make a review of my work. They splattered huge statics, like having millions of instagram followers, popularity, or having done it before and making people famous. Of course, their generosity was conditioned by me agreeing to send them some of my work for free. While I don't object the concept of reviewing someone's work, I worry that this has become a popular way of scamming artisan crafters to give away their work for free with promises of exposure and increasing their sales. I wanted to write this journal to tell everyone to be careful, specially if you're just starting your business and struggling to get noticed, it may sound tempting but you should never give away your hard work!
One of them was even more blunt and said that he could write a positive review of my work just by

Earth Day: The Inspiration of the Natural WorldSince human beings harnessed the secret of fire the natural world has been seen by many only in terms of how best it can be exploited of its abundant riches. It’s amazing now to look upon the desert sands of the Arab lands and know that this place, the cradle of earliest civilization, was once known as “The Fertile Crescent.” All Europe was once one great forest – until all those trees were needed to create the naval armadas of dueling empires. Only the Earth’s natural forces, like earthquakes, have been more destructive and wasteful than humanity.Earth Day: The Inspiration of the Natural World3 years ago in DeviantART Announcements More Like This

Undoubtedly one of the most prolific, innovative, and exciting artists
exhibiting their work on deviantART has to be the amazing BenHeine.

The Capture vs. The Pose
portrait of a WW2 vet...
When a subject poses to have his or her photograph taken, the subject tries to project a message about himself or
herself by how he or she “poses”, by the attitude of his or her body language or facial expression.
If the subject is posed by the photographer, the body pulled and prodded into the desired angles,
the facial expression “directed”, it is the photographer who is intending to communicate a message.
In either case, posing or posed, there is undeniably something “false” in the representation.

It was only after many long frustrating hours of trying to describe what’s so special about the photographs of cweeks...
That I finally realized I was trying to describe something that wasn’t there.
I finally realized that the magical something that sets cweeks’ works apart from others is that his camera disappears. There is no sense as you look at his photos of street scenes and other captures that you are looking through a lens, even the lens of a particularly talented photographer. There is a sense of simply walking through a town and seeing what you happen to see – without the
