Lost my car in some wild
Speeding and craziness.
What do I do if the brakes fail?
Survive. I think. I forget.
Now I'm walking on the road's soft shoulders.
Springtime and weeds talk country matters in the gravel,
Under the melted butter sun.
A snake, only as long as a pencil, green
As cooked spinach, glides over my bare left foot.
So gentle, but I am waiting for the panic
Frozen hard as solid silver
And waiting for the lethal flinch.
My nerves aren't steel, they're silver.
I wish someone was there to witness my luck, for I have
Often pointed out the X's on my palms
To friends and said, "See, I'm alway

Anthony could feel his strength coming back, his whole body seemed to tingle as the regenerative powers of the elixir worked its mysterious wonder. Shaking the rest of the fog out of his head he lifted Alexia onto his horse, he couldn't help noticing how his hands nearly encircled her waist. He also noticed that her dinner gown was tattered and now showed much more leg than ever seen of the princess. "I think that potion has awakened something else," he thought hoping his libido didn't get the best of him. Climbing atop his horse behind Alexia he was now extremely aware of how much better he was feeling, the only way to ride back would be

We taped it back on the red rose tree
Yesterday or maybe it was in 1941
right before Pearl Harbor was bombed
tears mixed with laughter, anger within
peace, water from the sea poured over me
A snow ball was thrown. Daddy and me
riding the snowsled, downhill with glee.
I picked a rose. We taped it back
on the red rose tree.
The sound of gravel road sparkled
blinding in the sun, wind and sand
and angel wings grew fireflys at
day's done. Big city lights, in neon
thrilled my sight. I read the sisters.
Metallic skates flew sparks on concrete.
Walking. Large black cars. City streets.

help me melt these tears
help me feel the comfort
and the love
of having a mother.
can you please love me
I really do need you
in dark tides
in my life.
can you kiss me goodnight
I want to sleep now
in your warm embrace
without fear for one moment.
can you hold me
and stay with me
make me feel secure
make me feel alive?
can you give me strength
lift my small body from the ground
make me feel the power
of having a father.
can you talk to me
like you know it all
make me smile
make me feel human.
can you be with me
tell me you care
secure my soul
save my body.

drained my hope to the palest shade of white
wanted everything to end, yearning for peace again and again
i had given up
and then i saw my golden light
in the most angelic form of you
you are my faith in everything
and my hope I've sought so long
you became my saviour with your touch
the breath of life hidden inside your kiss
you are my everything in a world where everything i use to have
was as solid as soft mist
you are the pieces i need to make me whole again
Now i only yearn for the days
when i get to wake up to the safety of your arms
and the brush of your hair against my fa

I watch you breathing
slowly in and out
you always looked good sleeping
your lips curled in a little pout.
My side grows numb
from watching you forever and a day
I turn and now face my dresser
with the clock that ticks without delay.
This clock is my enemy
counting my hours like a knife
watching the hands through the iridescent glow
as circles are played on my life.
Less time to mess up
all my thoughts seem scattered
fewer seconds to cry
but did it ever matter?
Each movement slices my soul
every click makes me twitch
never ending, nev
