A Flutist : Part One
This story starts off as if it is not an Inuyasha Fan fiction, but characters will pop up...find out who!
Minamoto no Hiromasa was a renowned musician favored in the Imperial Court.
He was most known for his skill with the flute.
Hiromasa was the firstborn son of the first prince Katsuakira. His grand father was Emperor Daigo. Though he could have been in line to the throne or to any of the top positions of the government, he chose to be removed from the Imperial succession to pursue his love of music.
He had no interest in political advancement.
He took up a new family name "Minamoto", and chose to work for the court as a registrar of records.
He was no longer considered by his family and the court as a member of the Imperial family.
After that, only his musical talent brought him to the important events of the court and palaces of powerful nobles.
Though it disappointed his father greatly, Hiromasa had no regret in following the path he chose for himself.
ND - Hide and SeekIf you were of any importance to a member of the main family of the Uchiha clan, you were aware that every year, starting on July 1st, Itachi started to play his crazy little mind games on his little brother. All over Sasukes birthday present.ND - Hide and Seek6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Theyd been doing this for years. Starting on the first of the month, Itachi would start dropping hints to Sasuke about what his aniki had gotten him and where hed stashed it. When Sasuke was a child, Itachi had started it merely as a way to entertain himself and his little brother. Hed hide the present somewhere obvious, like a closet or the attic, but as the two got older, the hiding places, and the chases, became more involved.
For example, when Sasuke turned twelve, his birthday present was sitting all nice and neat and wrapped in the middle of the Nara forest. And on his fifteenth birthday, Itachi had hidden the present inside Ankos desk in her office in the interrogation building. And when Sasuke was ten, h

I let out a heavy sigh as I pulled my rolling luggage bag behind me. The loud sound of airplanes landing and taking off roared in my ears, making me flinch. Mama and Papa had their own bags to carry, but they were a few steps ahead of me and holding hands. Of course, being in America ((A/N: NOT HATING ON AMERICA HERE. I live there, yo. )) they got a few strange glances and glares from people coming and going out of the airport.
By the way. You know that feeling of butterflies in your stomach when you're nervous about something?
I have the feeling of fucking wasps swarming around and stinging the hell out of my stomach. Also, I could tell that I looked like a mess to anyone that passes by me. My (h/l), (h/c) hair was tangled and wispy around my face. A few remaining tear streaks were still visible on my face from crying earlier in the car. Finally, my (e/c) eyes were drooping from exhaustion. God, this really sucks.
Why? Damn it, why does this have to happen to me? I'm

Sakura sat back in her chair and glared at her computer screen. A headache pounded at the forefront of her mind and her stomach growled in hunger. She couldnt remember the last time she had eaten or had something to drink or even slept. She was probably dehydrated; the reason for her headache
She ran her hands over her face and looked at the computer screen expectantly, but found it still frozen. A harsh glare was sent at the workstation, but there was still no change on the monitor. Impatiently, Sakura flipped the switch for all her plug-ins and shut everything off before she threw back her chair and stood up.
She gathered all of her files and papers before she left her office and turned off the light. The halls of the hospital were quiet, but she had expected only a few people to show up early; it was eight in the morning, after all. Her double-shift was finally ending and

Sakura felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb. Not only physically, her pink hair seemed brighter when put up against the black-haired Uchihas, but emotionally as well, she seemed to be the only one enjoying moving.
Well, her and Mikoto, that is, but the woman never really had fit into the Uchiha mold. She was too bright for their serious ways.
The moving was conducted mostly in silence as the five of them weaved in and out of each others way as they passed through the three houses. The two women would give a smile to whomever they walked by, easing the tense atmosphere somewhat.
With a huff, Sakura sat the last of her stuff in her and Sasukes new bedroom. Wiping the sweat from her brow, she

As far as Inuyasha was concerned, there weren't too many words that began with "Sessh", and even fewer that began with "Sesshou", but maybe, just maybe, his hearing had gone wrong.
"Se..." she mumbled again. He leaned even closer, almost touching her, not even knowing he was reaching a very disturbing level of wrongness in his gesture. "Sesshouuuu...."
If his half-brother was bothering Kagome in her dreams, Inuyasha was going to find a way to kill him. However, a small part of him couldn't help but notice she didn't look distressed. That somehow worried him even more, especially since he had no idea what he was supposed to do in that case.
That didn't make any sense.

Chapter 4: The Tenshioni
Link stood there feeling a little dumbfounded. The hero's anxiety and lack of sleep left his mind feeling bombarded by the series of events that had just unfolded. He paused for a moment to let what Kaepora had said sink in before making his way back to the entrance of the Spirit temple. Link enlightened Nabooru of the situation and then set out on the long trip back home, alone.
He hated to return to the castle without his son in tow, but he had no choice, he needed to consult with others to cast light upon this situation, and hopefully the item Kaepora spoke of may also be found close to home.
Link approached the palace slowly on horseback, face wrought with worry and his eyes lowered in thought. Zelda and Impa ran to him eager for any news of the young prince, their heart sank when Link's sad eyes met their's. Once inside Link told them of everyth

Zelda ran across the bridges to Link and stopped a few feet in front of him.
The queen sadly gazed upon the wound to his face but then was taken aback to see his soft smile and the look of calm serenity in his remaining eye.
She came closer and tenderly touched where the demon marks had been, she put a hand around his shoulder to touch where the angel wings once were.
Zelda with tears of relief in her eyes wrapped her arms gently around his shoulders and hugged him.
Link returned the gesture and held her in his loving embrace. As they touched she could feel the bond between them, Zelda smiled, her hero had been restored, inside and out.
Chirin walked up carrying little Aryll who was still rather shaken. The girl began to squirm and reach for her father, the prince set her down. Link sat in grass and then reached out to her, the little girl ran crying into his arms and he held his adopted daughter close as she cried in relief.

As of February 1st (and a few more small changes Feb 2nd and 3rd) the previous chapters have seen both small and large upgrades. Some of what was changed is important to read otherwise parts of the last chapters will likely leave you going "huh?"
I highly suggest you read them again before reading chapter 14 and 15 (the last) as the first 13 were changed to give the last events more significance and so the plot would flow better.
A summary of what was changed:
In the updated chapters we learn more about how the Sheik mask came to be and just who Sheik was, and we get a glimpse of how Zelda spent her 7 years in hiding from Ganon. I put a little more focus on the Tenshioni who left to find help/a new home, and I clarified the balance of demon and angel within a Tenshioni vs the balance within others. I added in that Dark nearly slit Link's throat when they fought in the future that almost was, this makes Dark's remark while holding Chirin sting more, there is focus on the scar Da

There was a long moment of silence, and the air seemed thick with the tense aura around both Kakashi and Sakura. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Sakura gave a small smile. It was the awkward smile of someone trying to break the tense air, but it was a smile nonetheless.
Well, if you want to get technical, Kakashi-san, Ive been dead for several hundred years.
Sakuras casual answer seemed to break the strange silence that had descended after Kakashis words. Time seemed to jumpstart, as everyone moved, turning to look at Sakura and Kakashi more fully. Her words had also caused several more hunters to reach for their weapons, as if Kakashis admission suddenly made her even more dangerous than she already was.

It was beautiful there. The bright blue water always shimmered in the sun, and the misty sea breeze felt good on a hot day. Like it was today.
You sat down in the warm sand and stuck your feet into the water, the gentle waves going up and down your legs. With a smile on your face you leaned back so that you could look up at the clear sky.
"The beach is the best-a place to catch the hot ladies~"
A very immature voice and a gruff voice broke your peace. Looking behind you, you noticed two men strolling down the beach together.
One had messy brown hair and was wearing what seemed to be armor, from the light reflecting off of him.
The other had very long blonde hair and you could tell he was quite annoyed by the chipper man beside him.
"Oo, oo, like that-a one! See her over there?"
"Hush, you're too loud."
Standing up and brushing the sand off of your dress, you gazed at the men as they approached you. You wondered what they could want,

He'd had little luck deciphering their motives. Perhaps for their own sense of entertainment or pleasure, or maybe out of sheer boredom, or maybe they'd had some life-altering revelation that dictated that they make a mockery of his love life, or lack of. This had gone on for months now, and from the beginning their jests had been nothing but an annoyance, comments constructed for the sole purpose of provoking him. The fire from the Rodawn theater didn't take long to touch upon adjacent buildings, sending the city into fear. The wealthy were forced to pick what possessions they valued most before fleeing their homes, while those without possessions to pick were able to help others evacuate friends faster. Water tanks on wheels and firefighters on crotchety small engines arrived as fast as they could, shouting for volunteers to aid them, unable to catch up with the speed of the flames on their own. There was no time to cry over lost valuables when every hand was needed.
One of the few places the fire had yet to reach was the remains of the school where Ludwig and Gyro had faked their deaths. The final players of Fantome's play had been gathered here, even though the injured Mortimer and chained Fou were not there willingly. Chirin was far slower than the wyvern but he tore through the air as fast as his wings could carry him fighting the strong headwind of the brewing storm. He lost sight of his target but continued on to lake Hylia for both his dream and his gut instinct told him that is where this fate would unfold.
As the white wings of the prince came into view wind was ripping at the landscape blowing embers from the burning field over the cliffs and into the lakebed area illuminating the darkness of night with an eerie orange glow.
Chirin hovered in the air above the water, the beat of his wings rippling the surface.
There was no sign of the wyvern or its passenger for that matter but above the lake was Aryll, she was being held captive, laying within

A bitter wind blew through the great Imperial city, touching its many churches, palaces, houses and statues of emperors of old. Bitter it was, for it carried smoke, dust and ash with it from the fields of battle and from the Ottoman campfires outside the city walls. The wind was cold, but the demoralized populace did not feel its cold sting as much as they felt from where the wind was blowing. It came from the east, from the Ottoman Empire. It was bitter not because it was cold, not because the fumes it carried and not because its bite and sting; it was bitter because it was the herald of woes, the messenger of the Byzantine Empire’s final hours.

Chirin,(sure-rin) a lively little loveable scamp with more curiosity and energy than Link ever knew at his age, but then again his upbringing was vastly different than Link who grew up alone as the "boy without a fairy". Zelda always smiled at the sight of her King and Prince together for their child looked exactly like a little version of Link, aside from Chirin's hair, with his bangs flat on one side. Yet on this chilly February morning, the one selling the papers wasn't sad at all. The twenty-year old young man sitting on the edge of a marble fountain was all smiles as he exchanged papers for coins.
