This photo is a little bit different than my normal style of photos, but I'm submitting anyway. The funny thing is that right when I was about to take this picture I accidently knocked over the cylinder vase thingy and all the water spilled and I looked down and I thought, "Wow, that looks like blood, hmmmm?" Because it was dark and the light was kind of weird it some how gave the water a brownish-red color...anyway I'll stop jibberjabbering.
I'm thinking about maybe seeing if my friend wants to use this as an album cover for his band, "Destroy Something Beautiful" or was it "Destroying Something Beautiful?" I don't remember actually...
Or I might submit this to this "Hello/Goodbye" Photo Contest. I'm not sure yet...
Photograph was taken back in January of 2005 along with several other photos I took at Newport Beach, CA. The bubble is real and the only thing I manipulated was the desaturation of the picture excluding the bubble. I remember that the guy that was making these bubbles was kind of weird, I think he was trying to sell his bubble maker thing, but people were taking pictures instead of listening to him. Also the little girl was hogging all of the bubbles and the boy barely got to pop any of them, oh well.
One side goes up and the other goes down
But I still can see you as you saw me
When I push up you hold your ground
That is just the way it's going to be
But my weight will make me fall again
And you'll be up high with me on the floor
Until gravity has pulled down your mass; your burden
Because it was bound to happen with this aquired lore
If our life is a teeter-totter, a see-saw if you will
We will always have what they call, ups and downs
Until one of us takes a spill...?
All that will be left, is one
And they will be on the floor
Oh alone and miserable one
You have surely felt this before
I wish things were the way I wanted it to be...
But they're not...
Inspired by the song:
And Then I Turned Seven - Flawed
It's that time again, to face yourself,
your world's come crashing down, on you
Don't make the same mistake again,
and hold it in like you always do...
Just for tonight, let's take your past and put it all behind
And forget everything you've tried to hide
Cause all that doesn't matter anymore
Just close your eyes,
and feel the air blow through your hair then hide
To let you choke to appreciate your life
For all the days you've wasted in the past
You need to make this moment last
Breath in, breath out, you've heard it all before
But nothing takes the pain away except the pain itself
but its too painful to ignore
Stop your acting, your script's way too flawed
Go steal some new lines, for you to safely read off...
