worked on this a little more , by no means is it finished . I will post the links to the brushes , later this morning .
I tried shading him , and drawing some guns , really i have no idea how to draw guns , and i guess looking at the Gungrave Visual Works helped but not the accuracy.
PS , the titles to these pieces are titles to chapters in my graphic novel story i am working on . Usually refferecing songs that have influenced the story. In this case , Behind Blues Eyes by The Who. Khaim' side is important but it is more of a side story and has a darker feel to it.
I went back to this recent commission to give it a background that would fit the time period, and I found a perfect one by . I don't put backgrounds that are made by others into commissions, mostly because that's rude, and also because I don't feel it's right to charge money for work I didn't do. In this case, I probably could have since the owner of the background specified it's an unrestricted stock image, but I felt it best not to do so still.
Anyways, they had a great wild west town shot (several in fact) and this one was perfect, with a saloon and everything. Apply an Aged Newspaper artistic filter...and voila. Instant old-timey look. If I was feeling really froggy I could have actually put it into a newspaper article of sorts, but I'm not that ambitious.
