Love is...Love is trust
Trusting in love for strength
Love is respect
Respecting each other's space
Love is responsibility
Being responsible, preventing trouble
Love is honesty
Telling the truth even if they don't believe you
Love is self-control
Knowing when is a good time for fun
Love is love
Being together forever
True Love Never EndsI see you from afarTrue Love Never Ends7 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
I wonder who you are
I watch for a minute
Seeing it doesn't fit
Thinking it would never work
Then i see your clever smirk
You walk over and say hi
All I can think is to say hi
Nothing escapes my silent tongue
And I think of Master Fung
I watch you as you speak
Wishing I wasn't so meek
I finally ask your name
And you sak me the same
We exchange names and numbers
And I have a peacful slumber
I see you again the next day
And again I don't know what to say
You see me walking towards you
And you automatically remember who
You ask me about how I slept
And I tell you of the bear I kept
You laugh as I blush
And wait for you to shush
You stop and say "That's cute."
I look away feeling quite mute
"It's not something I'd guess."
Then I remember my hair is a mess
The bell's about to ring for class
And you disappear into the mass
I spend the rest of the day alone
And act more like a stone
You meet me beside my bus
As some other students begin to fuss
You yell at them and they ge
Blood ChildShe was born with the death of her motherBlood Child7 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And was raised alone by her father
She was hated by the others
And every day she got farther and farther
She took a knife to her room
Attempting to seal her own fate
She tried to protect the others from doom
And all the people who only knew hate
Her father found her the next morning
Trying to wake her to go to school
It was a year when he stopped mourning
But never stopped calling himself a fool
She watches him every night
Wishing she could go back
Knowing how much he would fright
And a physical body is all she lacks
She has learned to control others
But cannot find her father's best friend
She still hasn't found her dead mother
So she waits for her father's end

September nights have always been the same.
Those small and fragile rivers beginning to slowly freeze over. The pine branch sculptures encrusted over their thick layer of see through skin. A forbidden silhouette for the world to see.
You said you liked that.
I cant breathe with your lips on mine.
October nights have always been the same.
The cherry blossom days are over and the threaded gold leaves are in the air, tying themselves to the frail arms of dying oak trees.
You said you loved that.
The clocks have stopped, and the tables have turned. Just to be turned again.
November nights have always been the same.
You bite your lips and watch blood fall on a new orchestra of snow, the shards of ice exploding with the warm velvet- sparkling and flaring throughout the lamplight of your lantern.
You said you liked me.
I cant take my hand from the stars, I can
Who Am I?I walked alone down the dark streetWho Am I?6 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
I was hoping there was no one to meet
I stopped as there were sounds coming
As they got closer, they were voices humming
They surrounded me and kidnapped me
I fell to the ground unconcious after a scream
I awoke with no knowledge of who I had been
Not knowing anything of what I had seen
I looked around as tried to sit up
but someone told me to drink from a cup
I took a sip and laid back down
And noticed not one of them had a frown
I sat up and looked at their dark robes
And noticed each of them had two black globes
Three of them began to remove my clothes
As the door out of the room began to close
I didn't resist to what was going on
As they pushed me into a metal gong
They chained my naked body to the giant plate
As inside of me grew a large anger and hate
I heard some unfamiliar words coming from them all
As their chant echoed through the large hall
They slid the orbs into slots in the wall behind
And I heard a woman's voice in my mind

The Feeling I Never KnewThe Feeling I Never Knew7 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
There is one feeling in my heart
I thought that I would never feel
Not now not ever
Because I thought
No one would show it to me
Until I met you
At first the feeling wasnt strong
But as time went on it grew everyday
When you smile at me
I feel my cheeks heat up
And when you hug me
My heart skips a beat
When you talk to me
I feel like I can fly
But even thought I feel that way
I still never knew what the feeling was
Until you took me into your arm
And held me close to you
Where I could hear your heart beat
And you whispered in my ear three words
That made my heart melt
And cause tears to fall down my face
For only you showed me and gave me the feeling
That I never knew
The three words that I longed to hear
I love you
Is what you said to me
I never heard it before
And I thought I never would
But you said it to me
You showed me the feeling of love
And let me feel the feeling of love fully
Only you did that
I also I never thought I would have the courage to say this
Winter Wonderland: NaruHinaSnow was falling down from the sky like confetti during a parade. Snow was covering the streets and the cherry trees in Konoha. The residents were sweeping the snow always from their door steps or heading to the tavern for warm tea or sake. Sitting on a doorstep of one of the houses was Hyuga Hinata playing her 5 year old daughter, Narita, who have her mothers eyes but her fathers blonde hair. Hinata swept her long blue hair away from her face as the cold wind blew at her. She was enjoying the cool climate ..Winter Wonderland: NaruHina8 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Hinata turned her head and shouted back, What wrong Naruto?
Uzumaki Naruto appeared at the door. He has spiky blonde hair and blue eyes. Do you know where Hiruko is?

Didnt he go out with his friends? she asked with concern. Hiruko was Narutos son, there were bound to be
Dark and Wounded ThoughtsI move across the worldDark and Wounded Thoughts6 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Different from the men and women around me
I am only what I am but what I am is different
I am different
I have always been different
But never like this
The flashing mirror I hold to the face of society
Often times ignored and over looked
Hearing not the cries of the children
Hearing not the screaming of their bleeding souls
They ignore the wounds they create on the face of humanity
Creating deep white scars the twist and distort
Pulling and puckering once smooth edges
Leaving the angry red flesh of new wounds
That they chose to ignore in their wake
I lose faith
I lost hope
I love the light
I live in the dark
I have not a sword but am a weapon
A blunted weapon
Left in the corner and allowed to go unpolished
No pride taken in my gleaming edges
Or the strength of my metal
I protect and I serve
I am ignored and thrust into a harsh light
I am only what I am allowed to be
In the hands of a master I would be deadly
But I'm in the hands of a bureaucrat
A form must be
Where I Come FromWhere I come from. . . the sun sets nestled amid the hills.Where I Come From7 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Where golden fields sway amongst the breeze.
Where one can stand, and see for miles around.
The days creep by slowly turning to night.
Where everyone is neighbors.
Where the days start early, and the nights end late.
A journey to town takes all day
And rushing is never heard of.
Where a trip to the city is a planned affair.
Where I come from. . . outside is my world,
And the barns are where my world began.
Where its okay to stay out late at night,
Watching the star scattered sky.
One day when I leave this place
Nothing will every replace
Where I grew up.

Written words hanging between you and me
Shining ink on a dull page in handwriting unique
Writing out our story for the world to see
You said a passionate voice that you could almost see
Broke through to your heart and to your ear
Above the noise of the crowd and the roar of humanity
How I wish you could be beside me now in this moment so dear
Because I see the heart already there in your chest
Beating steady and fair and stronger then you know
Despite the gray storms that threaten to put it to test
You are willing to see your roots and grow
What I wouldn't give to feel your fingers on my cheek
To hear warm words whispering promises
What I wouldn't give to have you hold me to keep
To hear your wonderful voice say my name
Your souls windows staring into mine
To hear from your mouth you feel the same
To see your face
When you see my wings
As they fly me to that word you whisper so tenderly...

An IV was attached to her, as was a heart monitor; the dripping and beeping was enough to drive someone insane. But Alice was use to this, for this was the third time she had been taken to the hospital emergency room this year. The treatment never changed, either, it was always harsh and uncaring. They just don't understand. She had thought many times, and it was true, they didn't understand, nor did they even try to. In the doctors' and nurses' eyes she was just some stupid girl.
"It's nice to see you awake, Ms. Northway," said the doctor as he entered the white, spotless room. All Alice did was glare at him. "Now, now, don't be like that. We are just trying to help."
Yeah, right. She thought, fighting the urge to sick her tongue out at the doctor. He was just pretending to be nice, and Al
