HAHA YEAH TODAY WAS AWESOMEIt was sunny, and I walked to my best bro's house to play baseball with him and a few others. (His house is six kilometers away from where I live LOL;;; )HAHA YEAH TODAY WAS AWESOME1 year ago in Personal More Like This
So, we spent all day derping about comics and playing, when one of my friends makes a rather shitty throw that slipped my glove and BAM FACE.
I only cringed for seconds, and was up again derp, I laughed and said it didn't really hurt, but as I turned to them, they panicked and said my face was all bloody.
BITCH WHAT
I went to the bathroom, and it turns out that my glasses sliced 3mm or 4 through my nose bridge WELP. Now I have a nice bandaid, but it still doesn't hurt.
I guess all those years punching people in the face and getting punched makes your nose tougher?
Anyway, I'm glad it's just sliced, since those balls are heavy, and I could have broken it LOL

"So, goodbye
please stay with your own kind
and I'll stay with mine
There's something against us
it's not time
it's not time
So, goodbye, goodbye
goodbye, goodbye"
I know I need hardly say
how much I love your casual way
oh but please put your tongue away
a little higher and we're well away
the dark nights are drawing in
and your humour is as black as them
I look at yours, you laugh at mine
and "love" is just a miserable lie
you have destroyed my flower-like life
not once twice
you have corrupt my innocent mind
not once twice
I know the wind-swept mystical air
it means: I'd like to see your underwear
I recognise that mystical air
it means: I'd like to seize your underwear

Avant-garde and mainstream societyAvant-garde and mainstream society1 month ago in Personal More Like This
The concept of avant-garde refers primarily to artists, writers, composers and thinkers whose work is opposed to mainstream cultural values and often has a trenchant social or political edge. Many writers, critics and theorists made assertions about vanguard culture during the formative years of modernism, although the initial definitive statement on the avant-garde was the essay Avant-Garde and Kitsch by New York art critic Clement Greenberg, published in Partisan Review in 1939. As the essay’s title suggests, Greenberg argued that vanguard culture has historically been opposed to "high" or "mainstream" culture, and that it has also rejected the artificially synthesized mass culture that has been produced by industrialization. Each of these media is a direct product of Capitalism—they are all now substantial industries—and as such they are driven by the same profit-fixated motives of other sectors of manufacturing, not the ideals of true art. Artist Feature: Potzu Yoko (InsideTheMindOfPotzu)If you love Tim Burton, you will love Potzu Yoko. For some time now I watch this very talented young artist. His work is amazing - simple, yet strong. Every line is where it belongs, it doesn't seem childish or unprofessional, though he uses a quite minimalistic technique. His motives are brilliant, creepy, make you uncomfortable - but still you feel a strange beauty in them.Artist Feature: Potzu Yoko (InsideTheMindOfPotzu)1 month ago in Personal More Like This

I've been very pleasantly surprised by my experiments with video. I've been video taping the first 12 minutes of modeling one of my face sculptures in clay, mostly just for fun. This process has really affected how I model the clay in a very positive manner, which I did not anticipate at all. Since I know the camera is only going to record for 12 minutes, I feel pressured to work more quickly and efficiently. I don't stop to hesitate or question my actions the way I would if the camera wasn't recording. I used to get nervous about the very beginning of clay modeling. Basically, the first 30 minutes of modeling is the most critical stage in that it has to capture the fundamental gesture of the facial expression. It doesn't matter how much you work on piece if the initial gesture isn't there to begin with. With the camera

Damian ChrobakBorn in Jastrzebie Zdroj (Poland), Damian studied photography at Academy of Photography in Warsaw.Damian Chrobak1 month ago in Personal More Like This
After the first year he decided to look for a different direction and began his search for a photography
he could really call his own. He came to London, where he completed a Black & White Photography course
at the University of the Arts London. Discovering street photography became a turning point in his life.
Damian has been documenting London's streets life for the last few years with some great results.
He had a few solo and group exhibitions in Poland as well as in England and last year he exhibited
as part of 5th European Month of Phothography in Berlin. In January 2010 he was honoured to receive
a membership of ZPAF (Association of Polish Art Photographers).
Damian is the main person behind the street photography group known as UN-POSED, which has been brought
to life in 2011 and one may get quite surprised uppon reading through the names...
Best chance of meeting Damian would be a
