While on a photography workshop in Yosemite, we happened to get an AMAZING sunset from the viewpoint at Glacier Point looking towards Half Dome. I took over 300 shots here and this was my favorite. I hope you enjoy it too.

A mounted print of this shot can be purchased at my Etsy store for only $20 - [link]

Monument Valley is one of those places you see in movies, but few people actually see in real life. Let me tell you, it's pretty amazing. These gigantic stone spires in the middle of flat desert. I felt so small, and it was nice.

This is for sure one one the most beautiful sunrises my eyes have ever witnessed, the colors were amazing, I even had to reduce the saturation!

Panorama of 4 horizontal shots, NO DOUBLE EXPOSURES OR HDR.

Canon 5d
17-40
gnd 0.6 soft

the snow helped balancing the wide danamic range, otherwise I would have had to use a stronger GND.

The view roughly 150ft. above Upper Cathedral Lake with the reflecting Cathedral Peak in the warm evening light is one of the many joys of Yosemite National Park and the High Sierra Nevada, California.

This image placed second in the May 2011 edition of Popular Photography magazine in the Your Best Shot category.

Pothana
Nepal

The Annapurna Sanctuary Trail in Nepal is one of the most beautiful walks that I had the pleasure of experiencing. It goes through a vast diversity of landscapes from lush tropical jungle to barren glaciers. Over the course of 11 days' trekking, there is a total of 5km ascent and 5km descent, such is the undulating nature of the trail.
This town Pothana, lies at 1890m altitude and was our last stop before heading back to the city. The dawn cleared beautifully to light these marigolds and the distant mountains.
