Why did he leave me? After all i did to find him again and I'm back here on this beach with this... Rose thought to herself as she walked back along the beach with her mum and the human Doctor (formed from the Doctor's severed hand by Donna). She looked down at the hand holding hers, that same irresistible smile, the scruffy brown hair and those eyes that had seen the beginning and the end of time and realised-He hadn't left her with some cheap imitation of the real thing. He'd left her with part of him, the part that leaned against the wall where the portal to the void had been at Canary Wharf and had wept for the girl he loved but could never bring himself to tell how he felt. This part of him was free to love her, to grow old with her, that wasn't destined to walk the universe alone. He still remembered the first time they met when she was cornered by the Autons, when Cassandra took over her body and kissed him, dancing with him and Jack on the T.A.R.D.I.S. in the Blitz. And then went away. She waited for years
And when he came back, he took her for a twirl
Through all time and space, but it ended in tears.
There was a Centurion, and he waited too
For longer and longer than any man would
And he'd always wait for as long as it takes
And she would choose him over all time and space.
There was an old man, and he too would wait
For his son and his daughter-in-law to come back
But not even a Time Lord can change time and fate
And all he will find is a grave and a plaque.

You look up, your eyes falling on the solid form of a human body nearby, the voice issuing from it soft and earnest. "It is just like regenerating."
You look down, figiting as the artificial lights blink past you, the empty bus taking you back to what is supposed to be home. "How did you know?" You ask, not meeting his eyes.
"I know the look. The feeling of- loss. The aprehension of what's ahead. An entire new world to explore- like starting over."
You hear a soft rustle of clothing as he moves from where he's sitting across the bus to sit next to you, waiting patiently until you are ready to talk. You've given up on guessing how he gets around so well, after all, he didn't park the TARDIS on the bus, and you just accept his presence, grateful that you and the lonely bus driver aren't the only ones out in the middle of the night.
"I thought it would be easier, coming home. And that moving out would be the hard part. But the truth is I don't feel like I belong in either place- n

You are cramped, too warm, blind, and it feels like your heart will never slow down. It's been in your throat for as long as you can remember, and you are sure they can hear you.
They are everywhere. And the one alien you need right then is nowhere to be seen.
Another one goes gliding silently by you, and despite the heat, you feel an aching cold pass through your stomach and you curl up even tighter, trying to disappear.
Where could he be? He promised to keep you safe. "I would take a bullet for you." He had said, holding your hand to his chest. "I really would. Both hearts. You're going to be fine. I'm going to get you out of here."
That's what he said before they dragged him away. And you would be worried about him, except the creatures have been whispering, and panicking about an escaped prisoner, and you can still understand them. So he is alive. Free. Conscious. Alright.
So why hasn't he come for you already?
And why haven't they found you yet? It's not like y
Run Doctor who -spoilers-Rose used to wonder why the TARDIS sounded like it was crying whenever it left somewhere, but as she broke the kiss to stare at the fading machine, she realized that it was because when the Doctor had to leave, his heart broke just a little. He went where he was needed, where the TARDIS sent him, never encountering the same people twice (except Donna, but there was something bigger going on there). Even with his companions, there came the time for them to leave. Rarely did he see them again, and never for very long. His goodbyes were often fatal, leaving dead behind, through no fault of his own though he blamed himself.Run Doctor who -spoilers-7 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

Knock knock knock.
" are you in there? Ready to go?" comes the Doctor's voice through your bedroom door. "I've found this great new planet- it has no sun! The warmth comes completely from the planet's core, and the entire planet is self-sustaining-- you've got to come on!"
His words make very little sense at first as you roll over, groaning. Your whole body aches, and your head is pounding. You have been sleeping for eight hours and it feels like you ran a marathon.
"can I come in?" Comes the Doctor's voice around the door as his words filter back into your consciousness.
"Yes." You croak, your voice scratchy and throat hurting.
His head pokes around the door and his vibrant expression immediately falls. He comes over to your bed and sits next to you, smoothing his cool hand across your brow.
"Are you alright?" He asks, brow furrowed in concern.
You shake your head. "I don't feel well." You mumble, enjoying his cooler body temperature as his fingers trace across your f

Time Is On Our Side 10th Doctor x TIME LADY ReaderYou walked around the console of YOUR TARDIS. You were the last living Time Lady of Galifrey. You were 898 and only on your second regeneration cycle. The Queen of France in 1736 didn't find it amusing when you slept with her husband, so she sent you to the guillotine. Now you have long wavy light teal hair, light purple eyes, and pale skin. Your TARDIS was designed to look like a Bureau, it was made of nice shiny oak wood (on the outside obviously). The Bureau didn't have legs on the bottom, it was flat on the bottom, and on the two double doors written in Galifrey was Time, Space, and Beauty. And every time you travel the little Moon ornament on top of the Burea spins very, very, fast. Your sonic screwdriver was (f/c) and it stayed with you where ever you go. Your real name is Alissandra but no one is allowed to know, besides your husband. So for now you use the alias (Y/N). This is the story on how you became not so lonely. This is the story where you met another Time Lord. (BTime Is On Our Side 10th Doctor x TIME LADY Reader1 year ago in Sci-Fi More Like This

It wasn't his fault, honestly! Rose should have known better than to wear such a short skirt with an almost see through top. In fact, she should know it was better (worse, definitely worse) if she covered every single inch of her body. It would be much, much easier for him to concentrate on fixing his sonic screwdriver. Every once in a while he would glance at her, but luckily she didn't notice. She was deeply engrossed in one of her magazines.
What would happen if he marched over to her, threw the magazine away and snogged her? He could practically feel her hands tearing at his hair, his arms around her waist. He could imagine running his arms up her back, feeling her shiver under his touch. Maybe he would run his fingers through her blonde hair, just to feel it.
"Doctor, are you all right?" she suddenly asked. She had stopped reading and was now staring at him. He realized he must have been staring at her for severa

this perfect copy of myself.
I stood there, weeping in my soul
and yet rejoicing for your bliss.
I pray you did not hear the mighty cry
that filled me to the core,
that, with a thousand voices, told you: "Rose,
no man loves you more than I!"
O, how I wish I could have spoken true -
how much I need you by my side.
'The lonely angel' someone once me called,
and yet, the angel is not me, it's you.
In all my life, I never truly lived
until the day that I met you.
You took these hardened hearts of mine
and taught them how to laugh, to love, forgive.
Of all these thoughts I could not speak a word,
it would have made you choose not him - but me.
Though all the stars will sing my love
my mortal ears, it never shall be heard.
You always knew there can be no "Forever"
for us, timelord and an earthen child.
We both know you belong with him
not bound be my life's endless tether.
You have so much to do, to see
that I can never give.
I want for you the best of lives,

Rose sat on her bed and looked around the room; she still wasn't sure where to look when she spoke to the TARDIS. "I know you love him, but from one girl to another please don't let him in." She lay back on the bed and stared up at the painting covering her ceiling. It was months ago now that she and the Doctor had spent an entire day painting time and space, true it was no masterpiece but the distraction had dulled that feeling of homesickness and it never ceased to make her smile. She rolled onto her side and sighed. "I guess you can in the morning, I just can't deal with one of his lectures right now."
The Doctor blinked the tears away from his eyes. "Oh Rose." He felt a wash of sorrow from the TARDIS; she hated seeing him so miserable but knew he wanted to give Rose the time she needed. The Doctor sighed, he didn't blame either of them

The only remotely out of place occurrence (at the beginning of that night any way)was a slight chill to the air, chilled just enough to cause me to pull my (f/c) petite coat tight around my body, an automatic reaction to the change in temperature. I shuddered at my moment of weakness.I had let him slip into my thoughts for a partial moment .That small moment was dangerous. It wou

However, before he could get a good reading on any humanoid energy pattern, Clara swung her head into view and smiled cockily at him from the stair case that led dow

If it all had been a dream, then it had been the most real one she had had in her twenty years of life. Or nineteen, if she hadn't missed a whole year after all, had she? She was not sure. She didn't even know in what year she was living now.
Already dressed in her daily clothing, Rose sipped reluctantly her mug of tea, hot and aromatic, made by her mother. Her mother arranged everything with tea, and in one occasion it even had awakened the Doctor from a strange self-induced coma when his regeneration had gone wrong ...
Rose closed her eyes to choke back the tears. Thinking about it made her feel a great pain inside.
Things weren't looking good. When she dressed up, she had go through all her clothes searching for the TARDIS key that the Doctor had given her, so long ago, but she didn't find it. Had she lost it? Had he taken it from her, for some reason?
Don't forget me ... Whatever it happens, don't forget me, Rose.

Holiday music floated peacefully from the stereo speakers. The Doctor smiled, sitting comfortably on the couch with his feet up on the coffee table and a good book in his left hand, of which he was reading aloud. His right arm draped fondly over Rose's shoulder beside him as she leaned her back comfortably against him, listening as the Doctor read to her with a blanket wrapped snugly around her and a warm mug of hot chocolate in her hands.
The Doctor smiled. He loved Christmas more than any other day of the year. He had visited so many Christmases in his TARDIS that one would think he would be used to them by now, but he never was. Every Christmas was special; especially now that he only had one life to live, and only so many Christmases to go with it. It's late at night and you can't sleep. It's not that you aren't tired, in fact, you are downright exhausted, it's just that after everything your mind just won't settle down.
Sitting up on the edge of your bed, the room the TARDIS has given you suddenly feels cold and alien- even though it is an exact replica of the room you have back home. It's just that time of night and the frustration in your exhausted body that makes the normally homey place anything but.
You find yourself fighting back tears of frustration and you feel trapped. You are on a ship that can go anywhere and you can go no where. You can't even escape your tangled thoughts in the sweet shelter of sleep.
The room is colder than normal, you are sure of it, and when your bare feet touch the floor it seems like the TARDIS is intentionally trying to make you uncomfortable with the frigid temperature of the floorboards.
Wandering out into the hall, you find yourself somehow in the kitc
