Crying silently,
Hiding from the world
No one knows,
No one will
Everything is better this way
Is what she tells herself
Nothing can touch me
Is how she reasons it
How little does she know,
But a few miles away
Someone else is crying, too
Left alone, to be alone
How sad is it,
That they are oblivious
To each other;
To fate
Their destinies are intertwined
They just have yet to meet
But while they cry,
They think
Two girls,
Barely there to know each other
Neither can stand it-
Being alone
Across one town,
One thing unites them
The knife they grabbed,

And told someone

But gave up on that

My ears open

Me to not be me

I feel the sadness
Know the pain

The children gathering to listen
To his heroic past
The things he braved
The people he saved
The lost ones, once loved
He retells the epic
Everyone has heard
But still they gather 'round
To sit by the fire
While with his voice
He paints
A picture for all to see
He coughs, but it bothers no one
The story still being spun
And when the story ends,
The children beg for more
The parents laugh,
And say
Maybe another day
But when they walk away
They look back at the old man
With pity in their eyes
Telling him they're sorry
He smiles and laughs
Gathering the remaining bunch
To tell another tale
A Dance in the Garden A golden-furred kitten swatted playfully at a falling leaf and meowed when it became stuck on her claw. Shaking her paw in annoyance, and fully focused on shaking the leaf off, she whirled around in surprise when an amused chuckle sounded from behind her. Seeing the tall redhead she bolted towards him, the leaf forgotten and as she ran she transformed into a petite girl with the same golden hair and blue streaks running down from the hair tucked behind her ears. Hugging him tightly she laughed and tugged his hand gently towards a stone bench that was sitting on the edge of the clearing. A walk of fame
All that comes in life
Are those ups and downs
But once again
You must sit and wonder
Why life must be
So complicated
Why the problems;
Why the pests?
Life is nothing but a churning river,
Always changing,
Never the same
You expect what you know
You cannot have
But you want
Whatever you can get
You like to imagine you're important
While the tiny flea knows best
Life can be an enemy
Hated at best
Or
Life can be
The friend you love
Life is many colors
Symbolizing many different things
