There was a faint sound of crushing gravel as the little blue car pulled to a stop in the small parking lot. An aging man got out of the drivers side. He was extremely tall and well built for his age, and his hair was cut short and in varying shades of gray. A thick matching moustache adorned his slender, kindly face. Square glasses were perched on his nose. He reached back into the car, pulled out a simple mahogany cane, and with its help made his way over to the other side of the car.
He opened the passenger door and helped a young girl out of the car. This girl was fifteen years old, and skinny and s

The morning sun was beginning to filter through the boarded up windows; he had been out cold all night. He couldnt remember having any dreams, which was just as well since they were bound to have been unpleasant.
All Ive done recently is let myself get knocked out, he thought, as the mugginess lifted from his head. His mind was plagued with a flurry of thoughts becoming a shifter, Gang Kanii and how to escape it all.
I need to be more proactive, he mused.
That was what his parents had always told them. He felt a pang of sadness when he thought of them, remembering his fath

Chapter 1: New Generation
The 10 year old boy walked the halls of his school. School had just let out and he was ready to head home. As he exited the building, he saw his mother's car in the school parking lot. The sight of his mom's car made the little boy smile. He ran towards the car. He opened the door to the car and tossed his bag in. Then he got in himself.
"So how was your day, Drake?" His mom asked.
"It was okay, I guess. Nothing exciting really happens."
Drake's mom turned towards her son.

Ignorance is BlissMark knew this was a bad idea. Still, he needed to know the truth.Ignorance is Bliss3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Just a few weeks ago, some middle-aged couple - Mr. and Mrs. Rellik - moved into the old mansion just outside of town. This is the type of house people would consider "haunted" if it was abandoned for enough years. Looking around, though, Mark could tell that the only thing unusual about this house is that it was really, really big. A lot of half-unpacked boxes were strewn about, and the furniture was covered in rooms that were clearly being painted. In fact, most of the rooms were still bare, and it didn't look like the couple had enough belongings to fill them all up.

Religion has been around since the dawn of man, and will probably still be around after
a cataclysmic event that sends mankind into another stone age. For you see, there has been
examples of religious beliefs in primates such as baboons and chimpanzees. There is also the
fact that there are graves that are ritual burials such as a 90,000 year old double burial
in a cave at Qafzeg, Israel. Another at Atapuerca, Spain which is considered the earliest burial by
Homo heildelbergensis. Neanderthals have also been known for carving stone idols and also have ritual burials
were they left stone tools and animal bones.

Dragon's Eye Sneek PeekIt was 10 oclock at night at the Toddson residence. Crickets were chirping cheerfully in the warm summer air, quietly playing their soft, familiar tune. A cool night breeze occasionally blew past, ruffling the leaves on the trees for a moment before continuing on its way. A golden retriever sniffed about, looking for some small furry animal to harass. Inside the faded white farmhouse around which all this was happening, a sleepy Maddy Toddson was watching TV.Dragon's Eye Sneek Peek4 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

Obsession - Anthro Luxray TF"Nice work, Luke!" Adam praised. A charred Staravia, still sparking every so often from Luke's Thunder Fang attack, was spread on the ground before the lithe, leonine power plant. Normally, Adam was averse to fighting, but the black-haired, sapphire-eyed trainer made an exception whenever someone insulted or underestimated Luke, a Luxray he had raised from a wounded Shinx. The regal beast vanished into his commander's PokéBall - his only PokéBall - after an approving "Lux!" Darkness consumed the room like a gaping maw spanning before a frightened prey whose end was soon in coming. It was a gripping darkness, squeezing at the soul as if to hide what had been done within such darkness before. The darkness was repulsed only by the light of a single lamp above a desk and while it battled unsuccessfully with the light in the room, inside Jack it seemed the darkness was winning.
Jack ran a hand across his wolf muzzle; reminded of all of the things hed endured getting it, all that pain and loss. What had happened after it had become as much a part of him as the muzzle it

Wulf Demon 4A The center of the capital city of the nation of Sariel was not filled with politicians and wordy speeches but soldiers and brief commands that night. Steel walls were made from armored technicals lining up bumper to bumper. Guns like M-16's made even bulkier were laid across the hoods and out windows like spears and lances held to keep the advancing barbarian hordes at bay for a little longer. Behind this first line of defense were the mortars and howitzers pumping short and long range shells into positions in parts of the city deemed expendable. My name is Draco Carvhall, and as stupid as it may seem for a 18 year old, I have had a fascination for dragons. I collected merchandise and even have one as a friend, but sometimes I feel like I want something more of my hobby. I had this dream of being able to become a dragon and know what it is like to be one, but it's not like that was even possible.
But maybe it was possible; maybe there is a way to make such wishes come true...

In the beginning, at the dawn of time, there was only the darkness. The sun could not penetrate the dark clouds, could not shine light down upon the people and animals who existed upon the surface, and with no light, they had to rely upon their sense of smell and of hearing; those who were born without smell or hearing were soon picked off or left to fend for themselves. For warmth, they huddled together in numbers. Sometimes the people were joined by the animals who were desperately seeking heat to warm their blood, but most of the time the animals were in their own, separate herds and packs, living on whatever the managed to catch, whatever
