Cynder growled, If Malefor had something to do with it, then it needs to be destroyed. You dont know his power like I do. He stayed trapped for CENTURIES. He should have passed on but look what he didwhat he NEARLY did. If it hadnt been for Spyro, none of us would be alive right now
Ignitus draped a wing over her, The book took something dear to me when I attacked it. I do not know if the same will happen to you, but I fear the worst. Stay by Spyros side for the rest of the story. It is a book, and while I will agree that it has magical properties, I do not think Malefor kept his presence hidden within its pages. Ignitus walked to the book and carefully picked it back up and set it back down on the pedestal. He turned back to the page hed been reading, sighing with relief when it looke
The Chronicler's LibraryHmm Peculiar. I dont recall this book lying among the others. I wonder what story it has to tell. As he opened the aged book, yellowed pages crackled in protest from the unaccustomed movement. Ignitus merely smiled and lay the book on a pedestal. All he intended to do for the moment was turn the first page and see what dialect the book was written in. Hed come across many untitled books in this massive library, most of which turned out to be diaries of either past Chroniclers, or other dragons that left their books in the Chroniclers care. But this one He turned the page slowly, careful to let the page settle on its own and keep it from tearing. It flared a brilliant white in an instant. Black lettering faded in and out, always able to stay only just long enough for Ignitus to see that a script of some kind was there, but never what theThe Chronicler's Library6 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

Spyro glanced up at his former mentor and still close friend, Ignitus, Well? Whos the journal for?
Ignitus turned his gaze to Spyro, What do you mean, who? Its written right there.

The book. Before you camethe reason I called to youwhen the book was still blank and I had no knowledge of it The book had words written in it before, and among them was the command that I had to tell this books story. I see now that if anyone else wants to KNOW the story, then I and I alone must tell it. He sighed and shook his head, This may take some time. I am still learning my own position as this ages Chronicler. Stranger things may yet happe

The book slowly began to settle on its pedestal, The last one to attack me before you sent me into deep slumber. The punishment you received was meant for him and then for you when you attacked me. Malefor looked at the storehouse and smiled. That was a VERY nice amount of crystal. He nodded and looked back at Damon and Cyrus, "You two get Clay to the Healer's hut. I have work to do." He closed his eyes and turned back to the crystals "Okay. I have to do this. I won't let her die " Now what would be the fastest way to pry open all of these crystals? He needed all the power he could get in as short an amount of time as possible WITHOUT using his time bending powers.
his Spirit fury. Malefor knew how to control it well enough to make the purple flames come out and bring the shattered gems back to him, As WELL as the initial blast being strong enough to break all of them, or at LEAST most of them. Now how to GET to his Spirit fur-right. Focus. He had to focus. Malefor centered Cynder's face in his mind,

"Malefor " She sighed gah. This was TOO hard. She couldn't hold it in anymore. Cynder made sure Malefor was looking straight at her, "Listen. There's a LOT more to this than you realize." She gave Damon and Cyris a slight glare. They got the picture and backed off, going to the forest and finding stuff to do. She had no doubt that they were honestly just hiding somewhere to watch and see what would happen. She sighed again, "Malefor, I I had to keep a few things hidden from you while those other two were around. You're a purple dragon, so this should be okay." Well here goes. Cynder took in a breath and began, "I'm from the future."
"The fut-you're pulling my tail."
"No! I really am. The REAL reason I know those four elements is because YOU taught them to me later. The fig

"Stand still ugly purple lizard! STAND STILL!!"
Hollering laughter filled the garden where Spyro and Gnasty Gnorc were once again duking it out. Spyro fell to the ground, pounding the grass with his paw and turning red in the face as he laughed. Had Gnasty been smarter, he might've used this chance to club Spyro, but he just stood there wondering what was so funny.
"So-ho So I'm ugly now?!" Spyro laughed. "Who's the one that broke the garden mirror when he passed it?"
The lumbering green Gnorc roared and threw his club at Spyro, and the purple dragon jumped to the side and spat a fireball at the hideous green giant, and then finally beat him with a solid skull-bash.
"I'll be back and I will KILL you!!" Gnasty yelled, and fell over and disappeared in a puff of small sparks and smoke. The gems he'd been carrying appeared on the ground, and Spyro whistled a little tune to himself as he picked them up and

It was a warm, clear summer evening that cast peace through the hearts of everyone. A lone nightingale sang it's last song before nightfall, treasuring it's final notes as it's lullaby sang through the forest onto calm ears. Everything was perfect throughout the realms. The wild roses bloomed through that area, every color imaginable. From the lightest pink, to the darkest purple, it was all there. Except for a single black rose, not one bloomed in the entire forest...
Cynder looked over at Spyro. "Spyro..." She said slowly, a little hint of joy and warmth to her voice. She gazed longingly into Spyro's eyes, the purple in his eyes tossing in circles, keeping her guessing. She loved that.
"Yeah, Cynder?" Spyro replied, looking into those eyes, those beautiful green eyes that

It was not Cynder who answered, but rather the book that began to float by her side, "I've begun to set the stage for the future, Chronicler, For the world I aim at to be true, his death MUST happen and so must yours."
She backed up, frightened, "Wh what are you "
The book paused for a moment in its hover, and the pages flew open, showing Chronos standing strong, and the Chronicler dead at his feet, "There is yet a way to save him. A way that once saved you those years ago. Only one of you can live. Will it be Chronos, or you, Chronicler? You know HOW to save him. Will you?"
She sobbed a little, but knelt down beside her mate, "Chronos Chronos, come back to me. The book the book wanted you dead, but I know how to save you. Come back. Just for a moment, come back to me.

"You cannot defeat me! I am eternal!" cried Malafor
Malefor unleashed a destruction beam from his mouth towards the two dragons. Quickly, Spyro and Cynder retaliated with their own beams; they all clashed with each other, with the two parties trying to bring the other one down.
"Just... hang... on!" Spyro shouted
Several ripples formed in the beams, sending Malefor over to the other side of the core in defeat. He brought himself up, but before he could do anything, several dragon spirits appeared around him, a
Second chances "final"I apologize to all who faved this story for the "lemon". I was alerted by the LU of the sites rules against that material, a non-LU friend who's been with fanfiction.net since the beginning confirmed I was breaking the rules, so I edited the story. I replaced the X scene with the likes of a romance novel as well as went through the rest and tried to improve it. There is more to this story than sex. This story is mostly about tragedy, loss, regaining, and love. The X scene was just something I decided to do on a whim.Second chances "final"5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

As the fog in his mind cleared Spyro bolted upright, alert. "What, what is it?!" He looked around. The first thing he saw was Cynder, a look of fear in her eyes. The next thing he noticed was the sweltering heat and the huge purple crystal they rested upon. Suddenly the recent events caught up with him. They had won. They sealed Malefor in the core of the earth. Spyro looked up at Cynder and smiled "We did it."

Spyro feverishly flipped through five books at once, his purple eyes ablaze as he scanned the pages. Not having thumbs like some of the other species that read books, it was harder for him to use his claws to catch and flip the pages, and he growled as his claw slipped out from under the next page repeatedly. Scattered on the table were some small models of ancient creatures similar to what he'd seen, along with some anatomical sketches revealing an almost exactly similar skeletal system. He did not like what he was learning...he did not like it at all.
"But these things are extinct, how they can they still be around?!" he asked out loud, his eyes jumping madly between books as he linked things together. The last major dragon war had eradicated these monsters...
"Hey, purple!" a familiar voice said rather loudly, and he jumped and snapped up to see that pink dragoness looking at him. "Closing t

Spyro roared and unleashed a powerful stream of fire, and Cynder mimicked him, catching the ape general on both sides. Instead of the usual yelping and hot-foot dance of the other apes, this one just yelled and smacked Spyro to the side with his sword before turning to Cynder and doing likewise before she could react. Spyro rolled right into Hunter and the cheetah's arrow went flying into the air, fortunately only hitting a roof.
"This thing can't be killed with fire," Spyro growled, forcing himself to stand up.
"An arrow to the throat is a one-hit kill," Hunter said, reaching for another arrow. The ape was trying to stab Cynder, and Spyro ran up to it and grabbed its neck with his teeth. The huge ape roared in pain and spun around, trying to fling Spyro off, but halfway through its turn it stopped short, and as it fell over Spyro saw Hunter standing there, his bow still raised.
