Vampire ---part 3---Aya watched him go, slowly walking after him. She could never understand why he paid attention to her, and neither did his friends. In their eye she was an outcast, she had been since she transferred there a few years previous. She dressed differently, she act differently, she ever wrote differently; yet those were all the reasons everyone embraced Kohel. He was different but everyone loved him for it, he was one of the most popular people at the school. And yet, he always found time to pay attention to her and make her feel wanted.Vampire ---part 3---8 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
She walked unhurriedly into the school and down the hall as the bell rang. She was lost in her thoughts once more, ignoring the snickers and glares from people as she passed them. She walked into class and took her usual seat at the back of the class, absently drawing on her notebook. She dazed in and out of the lesson as the teacher went on talking at the front of the class. She waited silently as each second became a minute, slowly dragging by.
Vampire part 12She let the fresh air caress the sweat on her face, cooling down the fiery feeling of her skin. She enjoyed this new home she had found in the dark, it was a hidden comfort. She looked up at the bright moon that lit everything below. She breathed in deeply, releasing all her tension as a dog howled a street over as if calling to its prey. Aya walked for hours in the night, exploring the streets and alleys. She thought it was funny when she passed a fellow night walker and exchanged a friendly smile and wave as if they knew just who and what each other were. She seemed to instantly know who was friendly and what was a predator; she stayed away from the areas where dogs roamed free, knowing that was where the werewolves played. Alley openings seemed to be where the vampires stood, waiting and stocking their prey like a game, waiting for someone they could claim for their own.
She rounded a corner, looking up at the gothic church she

“What’s the point of returning? They’ll just treat me as badly as before, just because I’ve changed doesn’t mean they have. Maybe I should just go back with Night,” she mumbled to herself, rooted to her spot on the sidewalk.
She began to walk up the small dirt path, remembering how she had made it the summer beforehand. She reached the door before changing her mind, “Maybe I’ll just look through the window…they may be happier without me,” she remembered all the times they had made her feel unwanted, unloved and unneeded; A few days couldn’t make a difference.
She looked through the window by the door which showed a view of a finely done living room. Her father sat in his favorite recliner next to the telephone, h

“3:30,” she yawned once more, “For once it would be nice to sleep through the night…”
She got out of bed with a stretch and walked across her room to the window, looking out into the dark blurred night. She tiredly watched the small rain drops as they splashed and rolled down the window, but something caught her eye. She watched as a black figure detached itself from the darkness before disappearing again into the night.
“Must be a dog,” she mumbled sleepily to herself.
She turned around as she heard the floorboards creak from across the room. She felt a gentle pressure from behind her as a leather gloved hand covered her mouth before she had a chance to scream.
“Now, now beautiful, no loud noises,” a voice chuckled. It was deep yet soft, seductive yet it sent ch
Vampire ---next page---Aya slowly blinked away the strange dream images, returning back to the sour reality of her room. She climbed out of bed and walked over to the mirror that hung on the far wall above her dresser. She began to gather her clothes for the day, but curiosity caught her, making her look at the side of her neck. A pair of crimson red bite marks stood out on the pale of her skin; small trickles of blood ran down from each puncture, trailing to the base of her neck. She continued to stare, slowly running her tongue over her crack lips, stopping as she felt another pair of puncture marks on her bottom lip. She looked forward, examining her face in the mirror. Her light complexion was almost pale, giver her face a gentle look; her hazel eyes stood out, bright yet sad. She didn’t like looking at herself, but this morning, sitting against her full red lips were two small marks with lines of dry blood running down to her chin.Vampire ---next page---8 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

She was different at work; she was more outgoing and friendly, more accepted. She actually liked work. It was the one thing in her uneventful tormented life that brought her happiness. She went around as normal, the trouble of her day melting away with each smile she passed out and received. She talked to costumers and waited the tables until the clock surrounded by neon bright lights in the corner chimed midnight.
Aya smiled at the few straggling customers before collecting her belongings and yelling good-bye to her boss. She walked out into the chilled night hair with her bag over her shoulder. She adjusted her uniform before breathing in the refreshing breeze that wafted pa

Looking over the rim of his glasses, Shaun realised he couldn't see a thing. Pushing them back up his nose with his index finger, the dark blur morphed into Alex Mercer, who held out a cup of tea.
"I wanted to say I'm sorry." Alex sighed. "I've been a dick, and you and Desmond don't deserve what I've been putting you through. So, sorry."
Reaching out, Shaun took his cup of tea, smiling at the hot, brown liquid. "Thanks, Alex. I'm sorry I've been so self-absorbed too. I should really learn to share."
Alex raised an eyebrow. "What would you say if I asked for...a compromise?"
Shaun leaned forwards, suddenly interested. "I'm listening."
Opening the door to the office, Desmond sighed. It had taken him the better part of an hour to find Lucy and hand over the glyph database she had been hounding them for all week.
Closing the door behind him, Desmond let a frown pass his lips. The lights were off, plunging the office into darkness. He reached out for the lightswitch. "Shaun? A

Reluctantly Desmond pulled his arm away and he and Lucy stood up. The head paramedic headed towards them, a serious look on her face. "Tell me what has happened," she ordered kindly.
Immediately Lucy took charge. She didn't exactly lie, nor tell the truth either. She made a good sound of pretending to be scared. "This man. We found him here, just on the ground. He had several wounds- we tried to treat him."
"What kind of wounds?" the paramedic asked, holding a paper.
"I don't know." It was best to lie, that way he didn't have to explain. Desmond shot a look at Lucy. Get out of this situation- fast. But take care of Altaïr.

What are they?
Weve all heard of these creatures. Theres almost no place where you can go without noticing some type of reference about them. There are top-selling books that have them, box office hits that star them, and weve attached the title to at least two animals. Obviously we must have an understanding of what they are, right? According to Websters American English Dictionary, the following is stated about this books topic:
vampire vam,pīr n 1 : legendary night-wandering dead body that sucks human blood 2 : bat that feeds on the blood of animals
Is it just me or does this definition seem somewhat insulting? It says that Vampires are legendary but beyond that it makes them sound no different from a leech. Perhaps Im just being overly sensitive about it. No matter, Ill establish

The Assassin had had a busy day today, but it was certainly not one he was displeased about. The Bloody Truth
The purpose of this book is to bring some clarity to the species that nearly everyone on Earth has heard about at one time or another and yet lack a proper understanding: the Vampire. Why you may ask? Because I seem to be the go-to-guy to a lot of people when it comes to matters that arent exactly the big focus when youre working towards getting a college degree. Or perhaps it may have something to do with people calling me one. Yeah, that may have played a factor in this. Anyway, to continue on, I figured that, instead of having people continuously ask me questions every time they think of them regarding this particular creature, Id just sit down and try to write one book. What will be said book be able to do, you may ask? Hopefully, not only will it be able to answer every question you may have, but also discard the stereotypes and myths that have been brought into belief due to influe

Night sat quietly at the kitchen table drumming his fingers against the old wood as he thought. It had been two weeks since Aya had erupted at Darrius and stormed from the heavy double doors of the church. He sighed sadly. He knew there was only one place for her to run too…home, or at least what those unfit parents made her believe was home. He sighed again. He was trying to think of what they could have possibly done once she had reached home. There was a chance they had taken her to the hospital; after all they had been worried. He had spent much of the last two weeks with Darrius making excuses as to why she wasn’t home and unreachable.
He stilled his fingers, laying his hand flat on the table as another sigh escaped between his lips. He already missed her…missed her eyes, her face, the smell of life that radiated from her feminine frame that he wished to hold against him. He closed his eyes, pic
