Chapter Eleven is slowly getting done, I totes promise. 8U Finals are almost over for me, so I can focus on my attention on the story.
Hit the Halfway MarkThat's right, now that Chapter Ten is all done and submitted, we have officially struck the middle of Part One!Hit the Halfway Mark2 years ago in Personal More Like ThisEverything is beginning to darken for the lone Kompanie, but can they push through and continue towards Russia? We shall see what happens! Chapter Eleven has started its outline process, and if I focus hard enough on it, it should be up before Thanksgiving (I'm slow don't judge me).
Onto more news, comrades. Should we hold another contest or wait until Christmas time to get one up? I know peoples has school and whatnot, and I wouldn't wanna intrude on big papers and the like. Suggestions are open!
EDIT: It's decided, we're doing a Christmas contest! Crossovers are welcome. I will figure out the prizes with my Co-Founders and the like, and you have until December 31 to do one.

The chaptered comic strip, has been collected into a 100-page graphic novel – and to the still-uninitiated:
It is not quite like anything you’ve probably ever seen before. The story follows “Zee Captain” and his sidekicks as they amble through a post-apocalyptic landscape. And while that hardly seems new and different, it’s the unusually superlative graphic quality of the comic cells and the Monty Pythonesque dialogues and leaps of logic that can become quite mesmerizing. Zee Captain, his face hidden by a gas mask that gives him a Darth Vaderish look, wears what looks like a Soviet Red Army uniform from WWII, and the strip does have nourish WWII feel. It’s as if the nuclear holocaust on Hiroshima and Nagasaki had never ended and spread to every major city on Eart
A way to live.:iconstrawberryr: writing this journal entry, with a helpful blurb about faith and life~A way to live.8 months ago in Personal More Like This
Imagine you are walking on top of a brick wall. You are faith. Behind you is feelings, and in front of you is facts.
If, in your faith, you look to facts, your feelings will follow.
If you look back to your feelings, you'll lose sight of the facts and your faith will fall.Be blessed~
Things to be Thankful ForHAI GAIZ. At the moment I'm in Washington visiting my bro bro (sneaking on his Mac, trololol oh me), but I wanted to take this time to tell my watchers and friends how much they mean to be. There are people on this site that I consider part of my family, and that continues to grow with each awesome person I come in contact with and they take the time to listen to my bothering. You guys, there are no words for how much you mean to me, and I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys.Things to be Thankful For1 year ago in Personal More Like This
On another note, my writing is anything but fast, unfortunately. I am the worst, I am. I am currently pushing out Christmas literatures I have promised people, but I fear they might be a tad late and won't be done until the New Year. For that I am so so so sooooo sorry. :<
To-Do List:
Kroshka Moia, Chapter Eleven :WIP
Blood of the Sidhes, Chapter Three - Six :WIP

Redeeming Grace: 5 Year Re-ReleaseIn only 7 days, our first ever WWII themed project will be re-released for its 5 year anniversary. At the time, our firm had been holding a contest for a holiday themed novel or novella that new authors wished to see published. We got many participants from all over the country (and a few abroad), all of which were very well written and interesting stories. However, there was one that stood out to us-- one we never thought would have. We weren't big on war novels, in fact, our firm had never before asked to see them (we were more of the memoir publishers, or the soft romantic fiction press); but, still, this one stood out to us.Redeeming Grace: 5 Year Re-Release1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Unlike the pure happy holiday pieces we had received, ones filled with all romance and happy holiday spirit, Redeeming Grace had darker tones beneath it. We were at first ready to put it to the side when we read the synopsis, but I spoke up and we managed to give it a try. And are we glad that we did.
Redeeming Grace touches the reader in so many

This Week's HighlightsTrial at Nuremberg by :iconstar-blazer:
The war is over, but there is still work to be done in the aftermath of the Nazi occupation of Europe. In the courtroom, Supreme Court Justice Jackson comes across the complex and emotional case of Diedrich Himmelreich.
This Daily Deviation winner tells a wonderful story, tackling a difficult historical era with grace, dignity and authenticity. It delves into the atrocities commited in the concentration camp in an analysis of what drives an otherwise conscientious young man to do unspeakable things. But this morality tale isn't quite as simple as it first seems. =star-blazer has produced a well constructe

One of the most important things when it comes to writing an historical fiction is research. And certainly, Requiem has undergone a fair share of research since its creation. As a sort of bibliographical library, we've decided to include the numerous books that have contributed to the research behind the story.
