Argument 2 - Links 2 3 4Okay so I'm back for my second argument about Rammstein not being nazis. And first of all, I want to tell you people who think I'm just overreacting and shouldn't waste my energy on talking back to those who accuse them for being Nazis; I want to care and I want to put my energy on these people, otherwise I wouldn't do it, right? And I have been successful in my quest for changing their minds. So if you who tell me to stop think it's so stupid of me, then don't read my journals. Thank you!Argument 2 - Links 2 3 43 years ago in Personal More Like This
Back to my argument. This one I call Links 2 3 4 and this should be the strongest and most obvious argument of them all.
The song Links is all about Rammstein not being right-winged.
In the song the line "they want my heart to be on the right place, but when I look down on me, then it beats left". They are clearly saying that people say they are Nazis, maybe for their own amusement. But Rammstein is no matter what on the left side politicly.

Imagine you are walking on top of a brick wall. You are faith. Behind you is feelings, and in front of you is facts.
If, in your faith, you look to facts, your feelings will follow.
If you look back to your feelings, you'll lose sight of the facts and your faith will fall.

Trial at Nuremberg by :iconstar-blazer:
The war is over, but there is still work to be done in the aftermath of the Nazi occupation of Europe. In the courtroom, Supreme Court Justice Jackson comes across the complex and emotional case of Diedrich Himmelreich.
This Daily Deviation winner tells a wonderful story, tackling a difficult historical era with grace, dignity and authenticity. It delves into the atrocities commited in the concentration camp in an analysis of what drives an otherwise conscientious young man to do unspeakable things. Till for the win - Argument 4Back for another argument. This one is both hillarious, serious and sad at the same time!Till for the win - Argument 43 years ago in Personal More Like This
I put this up to you who really think that Rammstein are Nazis, and I post this video to prove you once and for all that you are wrong
This video is taped during Rammstein's live-performance in Philadelphia, the 26th of April 2012. If you pay attention to Till and Paul during the intro to Ohne Dich, you can see Till spit, and shout at someone in the audiance. This is all because that guy Till is angry with, was making Nazi-signs at them.
Till also got this dude kicked out from the concert, which wasn't more than right!
This was written all over the internet and I can't call it anything else but "Till for the win". Doing that to this guy clearly proves that they're all sick of people accusing them for being nazis. If they were nazis they would probably be proud over that guy, and recieve him with another of their own nazi-signs.
Argument 1 - Mann gegen MannSince my journal about Rammstein not being nazis got so popular, and many of you are still trying to convince your parents that Rammstein are not Nazis, I decided to upload something I will call "The argument of the week". I am so sick and tired of all these false accusations so I thought it'd be healthy for dA to read these and spread them further So I hope you will like them and agree with me! And I hope you understand I'm doing this only because I support Rammstein, and I will try as long as I live to change peoples opinion about Rammstein. Correct me if I'm wrong but this has to stopArgument 1 - Mann gegen Mann3 years ago in Personal More Like This
So my first argument I will call Mann gegen mann
If Rammstein were truly Nazis, would they really let themselves be touched by naked men soaking in massage-oil?
Hm, no I don't think so.
As everyone know the Nazis didn't only grow hate against the jews, but also against handicapped people, gypsies and HOMOSEXUAL people. If you've seen and/or heard the video/song Mann gegen Mann you

"Both Till and Richard confirmed about the song ("Mutter") relating to their tough relationships with their own mothers". WHAT THE FU....DGE?!!!!! Okay folks, some of you, that have already swept through my translation of "Mein Sohn, der Frontmann von Rammstein".... I think it already speaks for itself, doesn't it?
Werner himself describes Till running up to his Mom and throwing her up in the air, big, joyfull grin plastered on his face. He than places her down on the ground with extreme care to make sure she won't fall.
He mentiones about "beautifuly carved flower pot".. cherry wood beauty made by Till as a Christmas present for his Mom.
And Till! The same interview I've already talked about. Here's the fragment: (everything translated by me)
...(...)..neither the title, nor the text have got anything to do with my own mother, or my colleague's mothers.

I've been thinking about that for quite a long time. And heck yeah, I decided to do it.
I want to say it out loud. I want to destroy all false myths and gossips circulating about Till and his family. (I split it up in three parts). Because I find it extremelly annoying, when I come across some made up stories, stories without foundation... Stories which are mostly the fruit of people's wicked imagination. It p**es me off. I mean, what in the name of holy wursts and frankfurters?! :[
Let me clear some things up for you:
1)*Gitta and Werner
It has been mentioned all over again, on Wikipedia and other sources, that Till's "parents divorced when he was twelve". Yeah, rrrriiiiiiight... you see.. before you set down to write a biography about your "idol", make sure you rely on plausible sources and keep your imagination under control. Well, this rule seems to have already gone into oblivion and people tend to post whatever they want, however they want, whenever i

The song about Rammstein
This is a song,
about the best band ever
and they're called,
It all began in 94',
a band that you've never seen before
They came form both Schwerin and Berlin!
It's a band that you sometime have to see!
There was a man called Richard Kruspe,
he wanted a band with a whole new sound,
and after a while they were somehow five!
(no guitar on this part)
But there was one man left,
and he made the band complete!
Six men with German blood,
and the singer is
Gitta Lindemann - Article about TillI finally decided to translate this article from German to English. (I've never seen an english version before, I searched for it everywhere, but with no results).Gitta Lindemann - Article about Till3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I think it is really worth reading. Gitta Lindemann writes here about his own son, their warm relationship, her memories from Till's childhood. <3
I cut it into three parts. This is the first one. I will write another one soon
I made the most of myself. I hope it is fairly readable
Here's the link to the original text :
"My son, the Frontman of Rammstein - declaration of love" by Gitta Lindemann
My first Rammstein concert. I sit between two, black dressed men I had a completely different imagination about. They are relaxed, they talk about study matters, their discussion is surprisingly smart and eloquent. The begin of the concert is already delayed by half an hour
Quick journal as a little punch of reality.I have noticed something here that doesn't please me even a littlest.Quick journal as a little punch of reality.3 years ago in Personal More Like This
no it does make me want to vomit and punch certain people just for the sake of them being so naïve.
Let's go to facts:
How old are the members of rammstein?
youngest: Ollie is 41.
Oldest: Till and he is extremely close to 50.
How old are most of your parents?
if you are about my age (18) I bet they are about the same age as rammstein, maybe even younger.
Do your parents have little stuffed toys they cry over?
Are they fanatic about gummy bears?
Or are they independent adults?
Let me break this to you.
RAMMSTEIN ARE NOT SAINTS.
They do drugs.
They drink alcohol.
They smoke cigarettes.
They fucking have sex.
They have sex with everyone they can get their hands to when on tour.
AND THIS IS NOT ONLY WHAT HAPPENED BACK IN 90s BUT IT HAPPENED DURING MADE IN GERMANY.
I have connections who have friends who have been in after parties that is what happens there.
For example my
Empathy.. Empathy!!!In 2009 (December) Till contradicted a bad cold and could not sing. He suffered from vocal cords inflammation and had to be treated with Cortisole which is said to be pretty catabolic. Loads of "dissapointed fans" moaning about the concert being rescheduled. Not CANCELED. Rescheduled!Empathy.. Empathy!!!3 years ago in Personal More Like This
In 2010 a concert in Rock am Ring (Rostock) took place. I've recently watched it on Youtube. Checked up some comments, just out of curiosity. Folks disputing about Till's physical condition. "Sick? Drunk? Both?" "Bwahahahah, he looks like he's going to collapse in a minute". "He looks like he's going to puke".. "What the heck is going on with him?" "His voice is f.....ed".
I mean, seriously, give the man a break. First of all, it was during the "Sonne" part, which is usually sang at the very end of the show. Believe me, that Till HAS the right to feel tired after two hours of constantly moving around on the stage and singing. Paul himself admited in "Anakonda im Netz Interview" that Till and Schneider are

Please don't cry my dear..
Your teary face makes my heart wrench..
Everything will be just fine.
I will comfort you
I will soothe your pain
I will bring you the sweetest fruit
from the most beautiful garden on earth..
Sweeter than honey.
I will travel to the other side of the known Universe..
to catch some beautiful, shiny star dust
and bring it to you.
I will cover your wounded body
with the softest silk,
to bring you relief..
to make the pain go away.
I run my hands through your damp cheeks..
I wipe your tears away
And I won't let ANYBODY hurt you
The day you were born.. the sun smiled..
and thousands of stars lightened the sky..
You brought new life into me
Saved me from falling down the dark abyss
And while every one would leave me all by m
My Virtues- Prussian VirtuesIn my ongoing series about appreciation of art, I would like to stress that art should not be destroyed for religious purposes. In the Middle East many famous sites of religious and artistic importance were destroyed by the Teleban. It was no better than book burning in the 1930's through the 1970's. The historian in me and the art lover believes that these cultural treasures need to be preserved. Now, the human in me has my personal interests as does everyone else.My Virtues- Prussian Virtues3 years ago in Personal More Like This
One of my dearest to heart is my ancestrial home of Prussia, that land which was wiped from the map by the allied committee after WWII. It is my goal to take back those honors that were tarnished and rebuild something with the old and new. Art is naturally connected to this. Frederick the Great was a lover of the arts. Like all cultures all over God's green Earth, Germany has a unique and special story regarding evolution of art.
As a part of this, I invite you to view the following below. With this list I can create writte

Auf wiedersehen, RammsteinfansUnite!I've made my decision, I'm not going to leave dA, but I will leave the major fan-groups whose personnel may have gotten in over their heads thanks to the popularity. I hate elitist Rammstein fans with a passion, but there are two that I dislike the most who had gotten extremely popular, but ended up bullying a fan off dA. So I announce my resignation from the following groups:Auf wiedersehen, RammsteinfansUnite!3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I will also remove my works from these groups and solely rely on word of mouth, as I do not want to be associated with these groups any longer. I enjoyed these fanbases while the fun lasted, but I've been bullied before, and Rammstein knows that their fans have been bullied before too. Rammstein saved my life because of their music, and I think it would make them sad that their fans are bullying one another over the "Better-fan-than-thou" scenario. So it is with a heavy heart and a regretful involvement that I will leave these groups. Before I end th

Because I only have two papers to do!
For ONE class!
But I need your help, ladies and gents. I requested that I do the cause and effect of Rammstein's music on their fans and my professor said I could, as long as it's cause and effect, which it is. The question is simple, and it's a bit personal, but this is in strict confidence. He will not know who you are, your name, face, or where you are from, just your story. Some stories I know may be a little more serious than others, so this is why I'm requesting you to note me if you want to help me out.
The question is this: How did Rammstein effect your life? For better or for worse? Tell me your story beginning anywhere you want. When you first started listening to them, whether it be the first concert you went to of theirs, anywhere in time and space. It'll really help me out more than you know!
My own story is a bit depressing, so I warn you, if you want to read it, keep reading this journal, otherwise, just note me you

Everything is beginning to darken for the lone Kompanie, but can they push through and continue towards Russia? We shall see what happens! Onto more news, comrades. Should we hold another contest or wait until Christmas time to get one up? I know peoples has school and whatnot, and I wouldn't wanna intrude on big papers and the like. Suggestions are open!
EDIT: It's decided, we're doing a Christmas contest! Crossovers are welcome. I will figure out the prizes with my Co-Founders and the like, and you have until December 31 to do one.
New Rammstein song: A life guideHello everyone!New Rammstein song: A life guide3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Like most of you might now, me and my friend :icondojoundmolin: wrote and recorded a song a while a go, "The song about Rammstein"
And since many of you, and watchers on youtube liked it, we decided to write anoter one! YAY!
The song is called "A life guide", and here it goes:
There is a band,
which I think you all know
They travel the world,
to give us and awesome show
There is six of them,
their stories not all the same
What is hiding behind the glory and the fame?
I'll tell ya!
A man escaped from the DDR as young,
trying to make it in the west,
Who would know that man would become,
one of the best?
CHOURS (sort of)
Herr Richard Kruspe
A young boy, 16 years old,
travelling all alone
Finding himself in a band underground
And who could believe he would be a part,
of this new sound?
Herr Paul Landers
In a folk-fiddle band,
was a tall creative man
Doing his thing with the bass
Some trivia about TillchenThis is a couple of trivias about Till I've collected from various sources. (books, interviews and such) I have a source for each one of them and I can provide them anytime, by all means! Some trivia about Tillchen3 years ago in Personal More Like This
*When Till was young he used to take care of wounded and injured animals and take them home (mouse, puppy - he gave the puppy to his Dad as a present).
*Till had three cats - Milli, Puschi and Billi. They lived in the cottage in Werner's farmhouse that is. Gitta mentions about Till craddling a cat in his jacket while making his way through snowy landscape - he loved taking strolls
*Till wanted to become a see- diver in his younger days. On learning this his Dad remarked: "Are you sure? Perhaps you would like to think it over.. maybe you should study a little.." Till mentions about his Father taking long walks in the wood to seek inspiration, leaving his notebooks all over the house, mentions about his sharp sense of observation. "I had no interest in these back then. But it stayed by me. I told m

*Till's parents met each other during the Bitterfeld Conference in 1959. Gitta recalls that her future husband would gaze at her almost all the time and after the end of the meeting they had a conversation and he invited her for a coffee :3
*Till wrote his first poem at the age of nine. It's called "Nutcracker".
*Werner provides a couple of very cute quotes from little Till. Once he looked up in the sky and commented on the gibbous moon: "Look, the moon is broken".
Or when it was raining and a rainbow appeared on the sky he said: "Look, the meadow is crying". Isn't he just the cutest and most adorable....!!!! *squeeee*
*Till worked as a carpenter in his youth days. Werner once paid him a visit in his teacher's workshop and saw a flower pot - "cherry tree beauty" as he described, made by Till for Gitta as a Christmas present.

Destroying the Myths part II3)Father and SonDestroying the Myths part II3 years ago in Personal More Like This
If anyone of you got to read Werner's book it would become clear to you, that all these stories about Till's screwed up relation with his father are totally far-fetched and exaggerated. Yes, they would have a fight every once in a while. Yes, his Dad would keep telling him how to live his life, and yes, Till objected, Till answered back, he wanted to make his on way, he would rebuff his Dad's remarks and tell him to jerk off. But for God's sake. He was NINETEEN at the time! I remember those days when I was a teenager, these kinds of verbal fights and quarrels with my parents were on a regular basis.
How come that people never bother to mention such *unimportant, irrevelant details* like Werner taking care of his son, sick with high fever, Till carrying heavy things for his Dad, Till saving a puppy from death and giving him to his parent as a birthday present, father and son taking long strolls in the woods and planting trees, listening to music?
