It's been a while since I've submitted a photo, and I found this hilarious ornament on the tree, so I took a photo of it! I guess this is what Santa would look like during the summer at his vacation house in the Carribbean... and if he were 2 inches tall, of course.
Christmas presents dont substitute for a familly. Even if she lives in this big and warn house, Even if she get a lot of presents, Everything is cold today.
And even if it is too early, sincerely, Joyeux Noël ! (it means Happy Christmas of course ) I know I drew a sad drawing, even though Christmas is an happy day. But this drawing my present for you. Of course I dont say that to get more favs o_o; I just wanted draw something for you, for Christmas.
I dont like... this drawing, hum...ok, I explain, I think is quite flat, but I will do better for the next !
This character is called Jade, indeed it's a new character I wanted to draw something for Christmas, but something which is supposed to be original, not too foolish or macabre.... I was inspired by a photo [link] from ~ForestFaeri (Thank you ) The pose is hard to do, very hard so indeed I drew bad the pose ^^
It is more easy to face and also to perceive the beauties of the world when we join ones to the others.
Location: Parque Zoológico Municipal Quinzinho de Barros Sorocaba - SP - Brazil ******* Callicebus personatus masked titi
Geographic Range Masked titis are restricted to Atlantic coastal forests of Brazil (Nowak 1999). They live only in the southeastern Brazilian states of Bahia, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo (Kinzey 1983). There are five subspecies which occupy distinct portions of this area (Wisconsin Regional Primate Research Center, 2001). Callicebus personatus is allopatric with the C. moloch and C. torquatus (Kinzey and Becker 1983).
Behavior Titis live in family groups comprised of a male and female pair and their offspring, usually 2 to 7 individuals (Nowak, 1999). They sleep huddled, with tails entwined, in branches 25 to 40 meters high in large trees above the canopy (Kinzey and Becker, 1983; Rowe, 1996). In their usual sleeping position the body is extended and the side of their head rests in their folded hands (Nowak, 1999). Titis leave their sleeping tree at dawn and return in late afternoon (Muller et al., 1997). Adult males are usually always the last to leave the sleeping tree (Kinzey and Becker, 1983).
Qana is a village located southeast of Tyre in Southern Lebanon. It has been the location of two separate incidents in which the Israeli Defense Forces caused civilian deaths during military operations.
- 1996 shelling of Qana: On 18 April 1996, amid heavy fighting between the Israeli Defense Forces and Hezbollah during "Operation Grapes of Wrath", a Fijian UNIFIL compound in the village was shelled by Israeli artillery, killing 106 civilians and injuring around 116 others who had taken refuge there to escape the fighting. Four UNIFIL soldiers were also seriously injured.
- 2006 Qana airstrike: On 30 July 2006, during the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict, a double airstrike on the town killed at least 60 people (including 37 children) and injured many others when an apartment building collapsed.
