I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when it was your 5th Birthday. I wasn't able to see the happiness striking across your face, the anticipation running through your veins at the point of opening your presents. The blissful joy of all your friends and family around you as they sang happy birthday, that day was a memory I never had the chance to remember.
I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you had your first day at school. It was like a new world for you filled with friendship, independence and above all, fun. I'll always regret not being there to pick you up after school and having you run into my arms at

It came to be that I was convinced
his heart was in that belly,
that it was big simply because

why didn't his belly collapse?
Why couldn't his stomach

Drifting, drifting.. gone.
Sinking, slowly sinking down.
I wake, I am standing in a forrest, some sorry people are in the branches of the trees above me.
Where am I?
I walk on, come to a gate, a gate of black marble, with blood stained writing.
The writing is old, decayed, and over read.
I can't make it out.
Walking on I find a boat, guided by a lone soul.
I caugh and a coin comes out of my mouth.
The coin has a face, with horns on it, glimmers like blood in the moonlight.
The thought crosses my mind for a minute "Where Am I?", then is blown away like a seed in the wind.
The river man seems to be gesturing to

Open, broken sunflower seeds
scatter over the unspoken,
and that fiery stare in your eyes
says more than the last three months.
The faint stench of burnt memories
lingers in the dense space
as I glare at the cigarette ashes
resting peacefully on the coffee table.
And the void becomes thicker with
every singed corner of our lives,
while pile upon pile of forgotten news
rewrites in the back room.
The radio whispers the uncertainty
within the dimly lit flickers,
hoping our stubbornness will
fall gently into the ash tray
I can't help but wonder with each polluting

His eyes flinched, twitching
Like bats ears.
"Pick up your mother at 7, meet us at the restaurant."
The world seemed an unhappy place,
His placid tears set to fill the Nile in a few short hours,
A half charged cell-phone
On the seat like his blonde haired blue eyed thin framed
Darkness and obsession a prelude to a needle,
Exasperation, struggling respiration
And an elongated, low pitched sigh.
The slick roads washing like soap suds,
Dry as desert

Have you heard it lately?
The sweet, gentle sound
that sweeps and touches
into a whole
new different place
where all is possible
and there's nothing
but smiles and laughter,
a certain joy in forever
and wispy clouds
float in sky-blue skies;
and whisking comets
that fall and rise
with every breath
a rising crescendo
does your heart sing;
Have you heard it lately?

Try to analyize what its like living in my time
They'll over emphasize the importance of my rhymes
They'll never understand that Mr. Left Behind

And the groom's holding a broom
Sweaping secrets under the rug, saying "I do"

The troll rears its ugly head,
Drool slips from his tainted lips,
His tattered shirt, painted deep red,
Skulls dangling from his hips...
Deep green runs his blood,
Oily black hair,
Pupils brown, cloudly as mud,
Skeletons strewn about his lair...
All fear his daunting walk,
He trembles the Earth with his stone feet,
All are silenced at his viciferous talk,
None of the townspeople wish to meet...
I stand in front and behold,
Some call it blatant stupidity,
I call it being openly bold,
I fight for salvation and continuity...
I stand, clad in blinding armor,
Fearing no man... no monster,
Now a knight, but once a mere farmer,

Look at yourself
Look at all you have been through
You have been through so much...
You have caused alot...
You're not alone you know that right?
You never were alone...
So what has it in your head that you felt that way?
Look all around you, you see those smiling faces?
Yeah them over there
Those are your friends
Those are our friends
Me and you?
Yeah we are the same
You just have such low confidence in yourself
Heh, you can do so much more than you think you can
You just let yourself...fall?
Seems to me you have a fear of success...
It can be hard, it can be tough

when you try to get your voice heard, it's worthless
so i drop a gem off just like they oysters.

where you only get ur chance on stage
if the Price Is Right

how will I be played?
How will they portray me?
Will they flay my soul
Let all see the truth in my role
open the door
answer the question I'd kill for
What was I put on this earth for
I was never meant to soar
meant to write metaphors
that leave your mind sore
as if the mighty Thor had
slammed his hammer into your head
and I'm fed up with the feds
at my house every weekend
At a young age i learned to fend for myslef
pictures upon the shelf fade into sepia tones
as cyclones of angst tear through my mind

Made my stance
Now I'm stuck between infinity
Perhaps a sign of divinity?
I was never hell bound
Bound for the void in between
looking back my mood remains serene
How did I ever break out my old routine?
Same old scene
sitting alone in the dark
Stormy thoughts watch the lightning arc
Been marked by the devil
Soldier of heaven
Don't bother upon remark upon that irony
the agony of lacking destiny is one I know
allow me to bestow upon you the knowledge of centuries
it was the first war
my own neutrality
made me a causality
god granted me immortality
my new reality was to speak in fallacies

Well now, lets get this party started!
I play for only myself
Don't try to make a request
You won't find me on a shelf
I am not your average artist
I party from the heart
I party where I want
Other artists play their part
They ruin all the fun
Lables are like the devil
They make you sign off your soul
That music is never real
Personality is not their goal
You want reality and hope?
Maby you want outta the boat
Then get up and toss the dope
Come out and listen to Jolt
You whant something new?
Instead of the same old trash
Then I got something for you
Cuz I don't play for cash

A Dark HeroBehold the sky before a storm.A Dark Hero7 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Behold a village waiting for reform.
The bells ring as a stranger draws near.
The villagers hope that their hero is here.
But this man rides a cold dark horse,
A novice rider shown by rough course.
He steers his steed into the courtyard of town.
All the civilians encircle him all around.
He paces left and right, forward and back.
He strokes the mane of his horse of black,
But this man cannot be the one.
He wouldn't fight, but flee and run.
No sword in his belt,
No heroism can be felt.
This man has no strength to show.
Best be on his way, get out, go!
As he rides away another horse is seen.

Infected by invalid praising
While capturing the stench of barbarians
Drinking the black blood of the good
"Pay me and you will receive Christ"
The wrong doing of the white
The corruption of the good
The endless maze to heaven
For the ones that tried
Crucify all the rich to end the stench
Endless falling, no way out
The loop worms are covering the cross
Invite to another to baptize and so to be blinded
The scripts of the book bring false hope
Killing all those who walk to forgive my heart
Submitting only to the true evil deep in my soul
To only wonder if that place is true in the skies
Confessing all the good in me for it does
