I was scared this might've happened if I sneezed, earlier.. then the chameleon impression came to mind and it was just amusing enough to make into one of my rare comics.
Ahh, the joys of colds *chuckles* *sniffs!* *kleenex*
Psy and a mini Lord Pyro in a comic together. A first, I think ^^;
and the final transtech page for preview.
lots of bots on this page.
i guess these will be the only pages i'm allowed to post up for now, since this is for the club comic. if your interested in reading more about this story, i guess you should look into getting a tfclub memebership. or wait until 2010 for the trade to be realeased. hey, i was just watch 2010 last night. pretty good movie in my opinion. i like syd meads designs in that movie.
most of the transtech design are based on (ken lashley's), draxhall jump's orignal designs. he was suppose to do the comic, but something came up, and i was asked to work on it. i did take a few liberties with there designs, a couple extra lines and stuff. i was able to come up with a lot of new transtech's after i saw the designs of the orignal characters online. so there are more then a few transtechs i came up with.
Another western piece. The poker game that descends into a brawl is a classic staple of any saloon worth its whiskey. I had a bit of difficulty with what to put on the guy throwing the punch, because I wanted to show off his arms but I didn't want him barechested. So he ended up wearing just a vest, which (along with the leather arm bands) probably makes him look a bit like Crocodile Dundee with a six-shooter on his leg.
I feel kinda bad for the dealer, but he was probably in on the cheat.
I wanted it to look like the chair under the guy taking the punch had smashed beneath him from the violence of the blow, but I think it probably reads poorly. I should have had it bursting into the foreground more, but there wasn't much room at the bottom of the illustration. Oh, well, something to learn.
