I've been scribbled out ~ lost it all in the fight ~
at one point I even forgot what I was fighting for.
But I do know this: they are all gone. I am not sure if I just misplaced my pencil or someone else won my words ~ as if they are stapled to some random wall with a pretty blue ribbon and I am left with an honorable mention plaque made from Paper Mache.
Or maybe it is me that is scribbled out. Someone has taken their dulled pencil in fist and rubbed the paper raw, rubbed it right through until all that is left is a huge hole and the desk is covered with a thick layer of lead.
Is that all I am? lead on plywood? Someone's stick figure to delete at their whim?
I dont know.

Breaking Dawn ReviewWarning: This review is very satirical and tears Breaking Dawn to shreads. If you actually like Breaking Dawn or the Twilight series in general, I would suggest not reading this.Breaking Dawn Review6 years ago in Stories & Vignettes More Like This
I was beyond excited for the relase of Breaking Dawn, the final book in the very popular Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. When I finished the book and the series, my daze lasted about a week, when I realized...whoa. This book isn't that great. In fact, compared to the other books, it kind of...now how can I put this nicely...? SUCKS. (Pun intended.) I'm used to sequels not being that great, but this just took the cake! That is why for the rest of this review I will discuss the ways Breaking Dawn destroyed the characterization previously established in the series, as well as the problems with the final story's plot, thus showing why Breaking Dawn should not have been published and the Twilight Saga should have been a trilogy.
The Twilight Saga tells the story of Bella Swan, a supposedly o

A Toy R Us associates Christmas Poem
Twas some days before Christmas and all through the store
People were shopping for present galore.
Now by this time Kats Christmas spirits were feeling quite poor
From listening to bad Christmas jiggles and picking crap off the floor.
She was finding herself jaded to holiday cheer
Hearing daily professing of customers hate for the Yule and New Year.
Oh why? I did ask
did we do this stuff?
Wasnt giving the brats presents quite well enough
Why keep up this farce from year to year
Of a fat man in red with a very long beard?
The kids are all spoiled brats who come into this store
Their parents are rude and boorish as the store they do tour.
They treat me like dirt, wishing Christmas depart as fast as it can
And waiting on my line makes them less of my fan
I asked to the heavens how had we gone wrong?
To make the birth of my savior only about selling presents in throngs
Deep into my depression I slipp

She smiled politely as she moved to let him past but when he didnt move she timidly moved past him. Loki grinned, grabbing her arm and pulling her back, making sure to cover her mouth in case she screamed. He hissed as he hovered over her face, holding his lips just above her skin he brushed her hair away smiling at her terrified eyes. He moved sensually down to her neck while his hands moved over her hips, bringing his own closer. She whimpered as she felt his breath reach her throat, her heartbeat driving him mad. He could almost taste her, his pulse racing, his body quaking, his hunger screaming
Loki growled as his meal was interrupted. Glaring up at whom ever the voice belonged to only to be surprised
Breaking Dawn? Breaking Down.Breaking Dawn. Where to start, where to start. The book had been hyped forever over the internet, and I took Breaking Dawn on holiday. There was hype, and I knew that books with massive hype by raging fan bases never usually live up to their quotas [and also, following the last insults to literature, I wasn't expecting Shakespeare], but this book overdid itself unimpressively. Meyer pulls out all the stops to create a plot line with a lot of bumps and jolts. I had trouble keeping up.Breaking Dawn? Breaking Down.6 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
I was annoyed with the twisted rules that were bent further in this fantasy. Yes, it's a fantasy, but you have to live by the rules of the fantasy. Meyer did not. Vampires having babies? This was not a surprise - I knew the plot of 'Forever Dawn', a sequel Meyer wrote privately which was never published, where roughly the same happened, and when I saw the title it was clear what would happen. But really, being dead for 109 years does not affect your fertility? Incredible. And having no blood doe

Twilight: Worse than MTVThere's a lot of hype surrounding the series Twilight. I used to be one of its biggest fans. However, I've read better books since and reread Twilight from an analytical point of view. Boy was I surprised. The book wasn't as good as I used to think! Shocking, I know. Here I will post the reasons why I dislike the series now:Twilight: Worse than MTV6 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
I'll start with Meyer's writing. From the very first page the writing is choppy and clichéd. She uses phrases like 'her cheeks were red as tomatoes' and 'my blood was boiling'. She's also repetitive, repeatedly using words such as stone, shining, cold, etc. Not only that, but her writing is full of purple prose; I could skip over paragraphs full of unnecessary description. Hell is paved with adverbs, my friend, and Meyer has surely created about a mile of purple prose leading to the inferno. In one sentence she uses ten adjectives! Her fans may say this is descriptive, but it distracts the reader from the plot and characters. For example, saying 'I sat at the

Loki laughed as he sat watching the news, smiling as he turned to look behind him, calling to the second figure who, now, came to stand in the living room glancing at the T.V.
Is that you causing trouble again?
He asked in the same soft Irish accent that Loki had, shaking his head at the report. Loki just grinned,
I picked him cause I thought he was older funny aint it?
The other male came to sit beside him on the couch, showing no signs of vampire about him. His skin was fleshy and his dark hair and eyes dull next to his friends,
Id hardly call it funny. You cant just leave corpses laying around in, not only their own juices, but yours too.
He looked back at the T.V as he spoke, looking a bit disgusted as he

I have come to find that some of my KH fics don't really fit into the 'time-line' laid out by Square Enix. 358/2 Days pretty much tells that a lot of things happen in merely the span of about one week after Roxas' 'birth'. But for the sake of our love of the Organization let's pretend that these aren't literal days. Let's pretend they were together far longer than they were allowed. I try to keep things according to the facts, and you know I try to keep everyone in character... but on this one point... let's turn a blind eye. Call it slightly AU if that helps ^_^

He held himself back a bit so as not to get too close and frighten the other vampire, still trying to remain calm as he requested,

Loki smiled as he asked this, a smile that only grew larger when he saw the vampire nod and enter the room but as soon as he took a step forward Cid took a step back. Both vampires looked at him,

I shrug. I'm never very talkative around my mother. I don't need to, really. She's an expert at body language.
She sighs as she stirs, "Did you stay the whole day?"
"Why is that?"
I frown, "There was an incident."
Instead of looking surprised, or giving me a disappointed look, she just sighs, "You were out back, yes?"
I nod. I know what her next question will be already, and I prepare myself for it.

Breakfast was already starting and he could hear the sounds of soldiers chatting and walking past his door on their way to the dining hall. An exasperated sigh escaped his lips as he lifted himself from his chair and marched out of his office, firmly closing the door shut behind him.
The soldiers he passed in the hallway gave him a wide berth as he stormed towards the dining hall with a fire in his eyes. He sped up his pace as he spotted the familiar blonde hair of his superior further down the corridor.

Levi grunted in response. He wasn't in the mood for pleasantries.
Erwin stopped his trek towards the dining hall and looked at his fellow comrade. "Something's bothering

Both Kairis got to their feet and prepared to lunge at each other again when Sora quickly aimed his Keyblade. "FREEZE!" Blasts of ice burst out of the Keyblade's tip and caught both Kairis at the ankles. A voice drifted quietly through the silent, still air of the snow-covered churchyard.
“Wandering child, so lost, so helpless
Yearning for my guidance.”
It was soft and placating; gentle and soothing. It was all tenderness and affection. Nothing in its tone gave me reason to be frightened, yet it was too familiar and too subtly influential for me not to quake in terror.
“Father?” my heart hoped in hushed eagerness.
“Phantom?” my mind whispered with panicked recognition.
Who was it? My mind could not separate one from the other. One offered safety and happiness, the other capture and living-death. Millions of years ago, when the earth was still uninhabited, three gods arrived to it at seeing it empty. Interested in that planet which seemed to be able to grow life, they decided to create some beings to inhabit it. They were the reptiles that nowadays are known as dinosaurs, nevertheless, these creatures didn't mean a lot for the gods, they didn't have likeness to them and their intelligence was very basic, because of that, when the earth was in danger by the meteorite, they didn't do anything.
Without knowing well what to do, the gods agreed again of giving life t
