Giants were not as magical and mythical as humans make them out. They were not as tall as skyscrapers or anything and they were not seeking out humans as meals. They weren't hideous troll creatures either that didn't wear proper clothing and covering either. Not all of them live and wandered all. Those fairytales and folktales completely twisted the truth. People hunted after them as though they were beasts of burden and told stories to their children in order to scare them from wandering off by themselves at night since "the giants would find them and eat them."

“That should be everything, Ma'am.” The sweaty moving man handed me a clipboard, wiping his brow. “Thanks. You guys did a great job.” And I'm not old enough to be called Ma'am, I mentally added. I signed the paper on the gritty clipboard that had seen better days and handed it back to him. He took it and motioned to the rest of the movers to get into the now empty moving truck. I watched them drive off and turned around to face my new house with satisfaction. It took some time, but I finally owned my own home. It was a simple two story home painted powder blue. A fixer upper, for sure, but I was happy to take on the challenge.

"Kiki! Kiki, over here!" Someone yelled her way, as they waved their right hand frantically in an attempt to get the blonde's attention.
Turning a little to see who it was, Kiki smiled as she tucked a lock of dyed pink hair behind her ear and waved back. And once retrieving her luggage after a long wait, she took a slow walk to the people who had called for her. But before Kiki could speak, one of them instantly lunged forward, wrapping her in a heart-warming hug, tears staining her shirt soon afterwards.
Giggling a little, Kiki felt some tears brew from her eyes as well, as she returned the hug.
