A girl, no later than her teens, trotted after her brother, exclaiming briskly, "That was a superb performance. I think we all did quite wonderfully!"
"Yes. Despite some fair opposition in the beginning, you were excellent, Lux," Garen commented, patting her on the shoulder. She beamed with pride. "O-Of course," he quickly added, straightening his back, "a lot of the credit also goes to the mistress of the blades."
A certain red-headed lady rolled her eyes, and Lux snorted.
"I think we should be more thankful for the little one here," Katarina suggested, gesturing next to her. I instantly jerked my head up, heart pounding, before the familiar sense of disappointment washed over me, tide after tide.
"Nuh-uh, it was Mr. Tibbers, wasn't it?" Annie asked her stuffed bear. She raised its arms and in the deepest voice she could manage, said, "That's right. It was all me!"
"Ooh, hello, Mr. Tibbers!"

My name. It's... Amumu I think. That is what I remember. But it stops there... My past... Family, friends. I do not have them. I do not know why. I know I had them but now I cannot even imagine the faces of my own parents anymore.
A drop of water fell down into the sand. It's the tears. Ever since I woke up, I've been crying. I cannot stop it. I do not know why I am crying.
Who am I crying for? What happened to me?
Without realizing it I had walked into another village. Looking up I could see three dozen houses around me. The walls are mud bricked, shoddy and quickly made. Looking closer I noticed there were some destroyed foundations in between the houses.
Fire? The ground was scorched. But it was also tainted with magic.
Someone yelled behind me, he screamed some kind of war cr

Please stop throwing things at me and let me explain.
Many people have asked why guys my age, and even older, like the show at all.
Well after thinking about it for a while I found I honestly couldn't immediately respond to the query. On first glance, it's bloody difficult to think why it would be liked the way it is. It's so cutesy and bright and colourful and unmanly, so normally it would be avoided like the plague. Hey, at first, I'D tried avoiding it like the plague.
But then I sat down and watched it. And I loved it. But in response to the query I wasn't sure why.
But after much deliberation, I'm prepared to make a half-arsed attempt at responding to people's questions and justify the opinions of Bronies everywhere. Mind you, the findings I my discuss here probably aren't the reasons why some people may like MLP, but as I said, the attempt is half-arsed, so feel free to post your findings in the comments below.

Gentle undertones of orange blossom danced upon his taste buds as bitter blackness strode boldly across the tongue. Earl grey - perhaps an overused and now clichéd choice in tea, but a fantastic brew nevertheless. Charles took a sip from the bone-china cup, watching another contestant sprint across the lawn towards the tall, dark trees that surrounded the mansion. He stopped just short of the threshold and craned his neck round, looking around for other competitors. One look at Charles sent him darting into the thick forest. No matter, Charles thought, taking another sip. There were plenty more where that came from, and he still had a full pot of tea. Not to mention the splendid view. A large portion of Nevara could be seen from the stone balcony - a dense dark forest stretched out from the grounds of the mansion, creeping and snaking its way across the landscape towards a strangely foreboding city. The ubiquitous clouds of twilight stretched on through the sky as far a

The train pulled away as they watched Mai standing there all alone, and both young women felt their hearts go out to her as they moved off. "We should tell her," Aoi said softly as the station disappeared behind them.
"We can't," Chie said with a sigh, "you know that." The other woman pushed up her glasses up her nose as the black haired girl said to Aoi seriously, "We'll need to get off at the next station."
Aoi nodded sadly. "Do you think she'll be all right?" she asked as they sat down for a short while, careful to brush her long brown hair out of the way.
"I don't know," Chie dropped her voice to keep others on the train from hearing, "she's facing the Obsidian Lord with only Natsuki, Miyu and Shizuru to help, after all." A sigh, "I'm just hoping that Shizuru will see reason."
"And if she won't?" Aoi asked a

It was a bright and sunny summer morning in the Tri-state area. Phineas and Ferb had just woken up and were sitting up in their beds with their pet platypus, Perry, lying on the end of Ferb's bed.
"Good morning, Ferb," Phineas yawned, "So what's today's project look like?"
Ferb reached over the side of his bed and pulled out a blue print and some notes. He held up the blue print to his brother.
Phineas said, "Oh that's right. We were going to make that whole 'tunnel of love' thing for Candace. I'm sure she'll love it! I know what we're doing today, Ferb. Come on! We'll start as soon as we finish breakfast!"
As Phineas walked out of the room he glanced down at the floor to spot a coin in the carpet. He bent over and picked it up. He said, "Hey look! A penny! It must be my lucky day!"
The boys then continued on their way down to the kitchen.
The two boys went out to the yard as soon as they had finished their meal and were getting right to work.

The title is What is a laugh?
on my behalf,
a laugh is a sound that people make,
When their jolly and happy,
it makes them quake,
simple and pure,
nothing to detest,
that is if youre a mad man,
then you must be distressed.
I make people laugh,
that is my task,
I am a jester,
I live to bask,
in the spotlight so bright,
I enjoy the thrill,
of seeing their smiles,
all in goodwill.
I enjoy that sound,
that people make,
when they snort and giggle and chuckle and ache.
They laugh so hard,
I must admit,
It makes me frown,
when they suddenly quit.
They quit at living,
their hearts just stop,
they laugh so hard,
they push daisies up top.
I watch as they crawl,
all over the ground,
gasping for air,
they make a scary

The horror that stalks dependent on night?
He lays traps in the shadows of every living thing
That jump out with a jolt from a tightly coiled spring.
He is no man, not even a mere man,
The age of time has left his thoughts unplanned.
He cackles and appears, writing a new joke,
Scribbling the words with his knives, to the back, a nasty poke.
His mask has sealed on from the passing of time,
A never ending smile for death happens best when done in rhyme.
From the brush, from the walls, from the trees,
Knives take flight down towards his enemies.
Poisoned blades falling to slice and dice,
Making them run like cowardly mice.
They will run, they will cower, as of mice and men,
The leisure of life for them, has come to an end.
Gone now he vanishes, leaving an orange wispy cloud of smoke,
The laughter fading away, leaving unaware the next poor bloke.
They come to him as he beckons, the shadows of deceit,
To aid him on his quest to maim, murder

The merry man's fight
To hold on to sanity
Lost in the night
The silence so empty
Held smothering tight
Even blind eyes could see
There's no end in sight
His family gone
When things had felt right
Hunted and burned
In flames so bright
Their acceptance a memory
Seeming so faint
When consumed by the jester
Who's laughter did taint
No one to hold him
No one who speaks
No one to tell him
The words that he seeks
Praying for a whisper
To end his heart's strife
The echoing laughter
Creeps into his life

"Why're you sitting here listening to an old man babble when you could be outside collecting posies with your friends?"
Like always, she stayed rooted to the ground and grinned. A spark of excitement flickered across her wide, hopeful eyes, illuminated by the fire that roared behind him.
He bent down and took her small hands, clasping them tightly.
"Let's see if you can lift it up today," he said gently, and she, with all her heart, nodded.
For as long as she could remember, she would beg, "Let me try."
He would stop hammering, wiping off the beads of sweat, only to briefly reply, "When you get older." And she would stare, disappointed and in awe at Whomper, that seemed to mock her with eve
Sherlock-The Freak, The Genius, The Best FriendI walked into class, first day of 8th grade. I sighed and took a quick assessment of the class. The girls, all gossiping, twirling their hair, pretending they are the best because deep down inside they feel like the worst and oh god, the guys. I could practically smell the testosterone and hormones radiating off of their bodies, as they tried to stop their voices from cracking due to puberty, and tried impressing girls who didn't know that they were all ignorant selfless assholes, whilst the decent boys were far too shy or did actually try as the girls obliviously friend zoned them. Ah, yes, 8th grade. While at lunch, other boys played sports and scent their body odor around, I sat alone usually reading a mystery book, or a book on the science of deduction. When I wasn't reading, I was the one doing the deducting. Looking around the black top, until someone caught my eye and I would begin assessing them. I was surveying the grounds when I heard a bit of a high pitched grunt. I looked uSherlock-The Freak, The Genius, The Best Friend2 years ago in Drama More Like This

Puppets without strings.
Swords without handles,
Jack's missing springs.
Looking around the room
At all my broken things,
I smile sadly
Because we are one in the same.
We're both broken,
Inside and out.
We've cried so many tears
We can't even count.
Train tracks red with rust,
My puppets can't breathe.
Swords too dull
From Jack being cleaved.
Sharpening my sword
With tears going down my face;
I can't take this anymore,
I'll die without grace.
In one painful thrust
My sword hits my heart.
Though it can't do much more damage,
It's already been torn apart.
And as I breathe my painful last breath,
I can hear an evil laugh.
It's the other part of me,
It is my other half.
He told me to do this,
Hurt me 'till I screamed.
Did things to me
That can't even be dreamed.
Now I can't breathe,
My heart has been shred.
I can't believe I've lost my life
To a voice inside my head.

Teeming with an ocean’s depth
Waves were crashing down your cheeks
Tears you should have never wept
And I heard a sound I’ll not forget
The slamming front door as you left
In shock I waited as tragedy unfurled
Denial settled into the silence of my world
Without a glance or shallow sigh
You left me here with no goodbye
But in my heart there grew an ache
A pain that, most nights, keeps me awake
And now I finally realize
What I saw in those shining eyes
Not the sunset; the sunrise
So this was never a goodbye
This was letting go.
And now I’m coming back.
