How to gain more exposure on deviantART!So you think you're a pretty good artist, and have some decent pieces, but nobody to show. Or perhaps you're a learning artist who wishes to attract more attention to your pieces to get advice and criticism. Sound like you? I know it sounds like me!How to gain more exposure on deviantART!7 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Many artists on deviantART wish that they could have more exposure in the art world, but I've noticed that not many of them know how to go about doing so. There are actually many options, and we shall examine them thoroughly, to hopefully get you more exposure!
First off, just so that we're all on the same page, please don't expect exposure if you have nothing in your gallery. You need to be serious and dedicated about this. Also, ALWAYS make sure that the work is your own, and not stolen from someone else. It will surely get back to the artist from which you took it from, and you will be severely penalized.
Now that we've cleared that up, we'll begin!
1. The most common way to get exposure, comments and favourites is to

Got any more tips, or tutorials you can find? Please tell me soon! I might make an article if I get enough tips. Every contribution is appreciated and will be credited
If you want your art to be found through search, it's more important than ever to use the right category and keywords. So my question is, do you have any tips for your fellow deviants on how to pick the right category and keywords?
Please comment and tell me all you know, and I'll make a list here with all of your tips (I will probably summarise them to like a short headline and add a link to your original comment - you will also be credited, of course).
I'm looking for any tips on how to make sure you have the category, and how to pick good keywords, basic or advanced, in general or in specific situations (say, for stock in particular).

Photographers today seek mainly to create ghostly effects with their cameras.
In the earliest days of photography, the hope was that actual ghosts would be captured on film, proof for the believers. It would be shutter speed that would finally capture that moment of space–time intersection between our earthly realm and the spectral plane of the dead. The results have never been definitive, but artistically, ghostly imagery, through a camera lens or from an artist’s pencils or palette, can be quite captivating.

A Warning in Another’s Eyes
Stop and Stare
Staring is not the same as intently gazing into another person’s eyes as a manner of communication.
That can be a quite pleasurable experience. Staring into another’ eyes too often presages the delivery of a warning or very bad news. The fixed stare is the facial equivalent of a flashing amber light, indicating you should proceed but only with great caution. Keep that in mind as you peruse t

Should Today's Technologies Inspire?
We got to interview a visionary futurist with an eye on technology about what would inspire today's comic book writers to create our next superheroes with knowledge of real technological and scientific advancement.
You never know when it’s going to happen – that otherwise quotidian moment when you suddenly realize your entire thought process has just been tripped up and cast down a cerebral rabbit-hole destination unknown. Little did I know that what began as a typically pleasurable lunch with spyed and makepictures during the San Diego Comic-Con last year would morph into a mind-expanding mental wormhole voyage to the future courtesy of another guest at our table, JordanGreenhall, known to me only as the co-founder

Most people have negative connotations towards Waluigi, a character of the Mario Universe, whose tall, thin build, undisputable "duck-voice", and self-inflicting demeanor many times causes an upturn of the nose and a frustrated, disgusting look; there is no doubt about it, Waluigi is one of the most, if not the most, hated character of the Mario Universe. There may be ample reason to do so on the surface, but underneath the seemingly annoying exterior, lies an interesting and even ingenious character that needs to be better and more appreciated. The purpose of this literature is to hope to prove it through the theories and observations introduced and discussed.
First of all, let us bring address the main definitions of the current literature:
• First Character- The character that was first in creation and is the physical and personality center for the other characters around him.
• The Complimentary Character- The match of the FC (First Characte

Watercolor Paper Sizing - Why it Matters"Why does the size of watercolor paper matter?" No, not 'size' but 'sizing'. It's the surface treatment of the paper that determines how it absorbs moisture and takes paint, and good sizing is essential for good watercolor paper.Watercolor Paper Sizing - Why it Matters2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Recently, I ran into a sudden, awful change in the brand of watercolor paper I use, to the point where it is unusuable. An email to the manufacturer went unanswered, so I'm hoping this blog entry I wrote will help spread the word to manufacturers that changing the sizing of paper without warning the consumers is harmful to the artist:
Please feel free to spread this around if you feel it's an important issue. I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this, and I'd love to hear other peoples' rants!

It took me a few years after that to figure out the answer for myself and these options below are but a few. There are surely many more possibilities out there, but here are some ideas to what you can do with your artwork. Be warned all of these options take time to become proficient enough in that you can make a living, but having a focus is the best beginning.

“Backbone” as a metaphor has always evoked determination, strength of character, toughness of spirit.
It is also an indicator of alignment, of being on the right track, of having everything in life in functioning order. “Breaking” one’s back means utter devastation, paralysis, losing everything. Being “spineless” is perhaps the worst insult any man would care to ever hear about himself. And then there’s the

So I have been thinking about this lately, especially after meeting up with so many people who have the same interest in mouths, and vore. It mostly comes to mind as I am in the middle of RPing with someone and I wonder about this person, why do you find mouths so interesting.....then I wonder about why I do.
For me, the interest in mouths and tongues might have begun with cartoons. You all know the ones where the character is swallowed by another character and once inside they light up a match illuminating the inside of the of the stomach. I believe there is likely some genetic/neurochemical component at play as well or all of us watching cartoons would be voraphiles. But as far as memories, I always thought this would be great to be swallowed alive. I remember as a small child of 7 or 8 maybe, I would play games with the neighbor girls, sticking my fingers in their mouths, or getting th
