Bellatrix stood slowly after Haskill had gone, grimacing as pain shot through the back of her leg. She felt blood trickle along her skin- a feeling she was not unaccustomed to. The steely scent made her unpleasantly chilled, but she ignored the feeling as Jayred trotted up the stairs, holding out the keys.
Your prize, he said. Your bones sound happy, lass.
Bellatrixs lips quirked into a smile. She took the keys, replying, I am happy, Ice-Veins. Now- you comin through or what?
She pivoted on one heel, meandering towards the far right gate. The hall up to the gate was almost pitch-black. Bellatrix walked with her arms out to either side, her fingertips scraping the stones so she wouldnt accidentally veer to one side and knock herself unconscious. Two choices, one fate
It was two days after Bellatrixs arrival when Sheogorath sent for her once more. He had been so kind as to let her rest, deciding that she was in no condition to be running errands for him quite yet. He had refused to tell her more about Xedilian, however, causing Bellatrix to blatantly ignore him for those two days.
Bellatrix was sitting out in the courtyard, simply enjoying the feel of the wind on her face and the sweet taste of freedom when Ellette came not long after midmorning, bearing the news that the Lord Sheogorath had requested her presence immediately. The assassin grudgingly complied, finding Sheogorath standing at a small round table near the base of his throne. Bellatrix studied his lean build for only an instant before gliding her way to his side. Her eyes were drawn to the parchment spread out on the table; a yellowed, detailed and rather beautiful map.
