I was watching your show on September 1, 2010, and as usual you mentioned Dr. Martin Luther King, speaking of Dr. King would be proud. I shall touch back on this
You were speaking of Dolores Huerta, when speaking of her you said that she was also investigated for being a communist, so was Dr. Martin Luther King.
You spoke of her quote of something to the affect of capitalism being an alternative to democratic socialism, might I also remind you of Dr. King's quote of
"You can't talk about solving the economic problem of the Negro without talking about billions of dollars. You can't talk about ending the slums without first saying profit must be taken out of slums. You're really tampering and getting on dangerous ground because you are messing with folk then. You are messing with captains of industry.... Now this means that we are treading in difficult water, because it really means
Disagree w/ religion isn't disliking the religiousI previous did a stamp in which I said “disagree is not dislike” speaking to the many, mostly conservatives from what I see, with the tagline “Liberals hate me”.. just because you disagree with someone on certain issues, does not mean that you dislike them as a person. I have several conservative friends that I either disagree with on almost all political issues but they can have a good time outside of that field.. or I may disagree with them on a few issues, and agee with others.Disagree w/ religion isn't disliking the religious1 year ago in Philosophical More Like This
While one would imagine that this is a very simple concept to grasp. I have been seeing some postings on a few pieces on this site, and on youtube videos that I follow about if you are an atheist [agnostic atheist for me] then you must not only disagree with a religion but you must have a deep hatred for the followers of that religion.
I was going to make this into a stamp but I did not like the way it came out so will just write this…
It would seem a simple concept enough.
Black Lives Matter - my viewBefore you read anything, know this, I speak for one person, myself. I do not speak for all Black people or other people, So if you read this understand that.Black Lives Matter - my view5 months ago in Philosophical More Like This
It has been a while since I have posted. Mostly because I have pretty much written out all of my political views, all of my economic, education, etc views so I have had very little to say .. at least very little to say that would have me write a great deal enough to consider posting it as a new piece. Which for now I will be writing or trying to write more about specific subjects rather than generalities and perhaps that will lead to me to post a bit more.
Over the last few months especially since this whole “Black Lives Matter” movement started I have been getting into a lot of debates regarding the term, mostly, and let us frank here, usually Whites and more conservative people but also Blacks, Hispanics etc… so here is one post and perhaps I will edit it and add on or subtract later

Why Socialism? Why Socialism?4 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
It is not about going further to socialism, it is about going further into what America use to be about. It is not about welfare programs, it is about building your nation.
Let us look at reality, education has been cut nearly every year for several decades, and yet we wonder why we are falling so quickly in literacy rates. Yet when people say we should give more money to education you hear NO, SOCIALISM!!!! GOVERNMENT INDOCTRINATION!!!
Government indoctrination to wish to educate people, more money to allow for more teachers, which would allow for smaller class sizes which is said by ALL accounts, left and right to be an ideal learning environment
Well socialism is not really that "far left"... depends upon what type of socialism you are referring to, universal socialism which can be equated with communism is very far left where as national socialism which is a nice misnomer for fascism is very far right. Hitler was a smart man, he knew if he had said he wanted a fascist government th
