Captain America done in the new style I'm playing with.

I feel like I'm losing that surreal edge the original pics had.

Happy New Year!!!! 2012 has officially begun! (at least for me) Some days late, and I'm still unpacking my clothes  Is nice be here again!

Captain America with some retro feeling, but pretty cool as always! Pencils by the super talented *ratkins and colors by me. Hope my colors do justice to Robert's lines!

Enjoy you all!

Tribute to Captain America.
Character property of Marvel Comics Inc.

I liked the idea of a Captain America "a la Darknight" (Miller comic). I always felt him as an enigmatic character :). By the way Captain America was one of the most popular super hero around 1941-1950 (during WWII and after).

I was just watching Captain America: The First Avenger the other day, and it made me really want to draw Cap. I decided to make him in the uniform he'll be wearing in Avengers.

The quote is from Amazing Spider-Man #537 where Cap tells Spidey what it was to him to be American, the quote is originally Mark Twain's.

Anyways, enjoy!
