“Dreams” by Fitzgerald Scott"Dreams“Dreams” by Fitzgerald Scott4 years ago in Personal More Like This
What are dreams?
Moments etched in time
Swept in strokes on twilight canvases
Vast as the cosmos
Quiet lullabies echoing through the purple dawn
Farthest reaches of imagination, fulfilled
Leaps and bounds
Hidden beauty in unexpected places
Sculptures of perfect imperfections
These are dreams
Sublime journeys beyond the extraordinary
Sad shadows of requiems long ago
Forms and formlessness
Textures that radiate cascading visions and colorful sounds
Dreams that shimmer between wishes and stars
Through infinite possibilities"

Impression of WOW Movie Trailer: Update 4 worksHello all fans! I know some of you didn't get the chance to go Blizzcon 2014 to watch Warcraft Movie Trailer. 1st scene, in bird's eye view of stromwind, epic, fantastic and amazing.
Sunset is shining above the city, indicates that the war is coming.
An armory in Stormwind. Shining shields on walls and weapons by racks.
Scene into the Throne Hall of King, so holy! King Llane is sitting on throne, Lothar and Medivh (I guess) standing in front of throne.
Close up of King Llane is thinking, maybe he's hearing Lothar reporting the war.
In Blasted Lands (or outland?), a green lightning pierces the sky.
Horde now! The army behind him slowly forward.
Orcs are moving forward.
An orc is watching Dark Portal.
Aside saying - Our hope is destroyed, there is nothing to go back too.

“Have you heard of Patreon?”
“Why doesn’t your site have a Donate button?”
Put simply, I have this (evidently archaic) opinion that; if you want to make money, you have to do the work first. I don’t like the idea of taking money off people unless they get something for it immediately, not [insert timeframe here] down the line. It feels like a scam. That’s why I produce all those cheap digital comics: to finance my larger projects (and which is why I get pissed off when I find them being distributed freely online, because it slows everything down).
Even for large projects, like video-games that only have a niche audience and which big publishers won’t ever assist: I don’t see crowd funding as a particularly good way to go about getting production capital. I prefer the early release approach, such as that Mojang took with Minecraft.

Not Gadot! It was announced a few days ago (I’ve been outa the loop and didn’t hear till this morning) that Wonder Woman will be showing up in Man of Steel 2: Batfleck Rises. Not Gadot!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
It’s also been hinted that other familiar faces from the Batman universe will either appear or be referenced.
First concern at this news is that they’re moving too fast. WB are looking enviously at the cash-cow that is The Avengers and are force feeding their own franchise all manner of unhealthy things in an effort to hasten its development.
If they don’t devote the same amount of time to character development as the Marvel films did, the general movie-going audience isn’t going to have a real desire to see a JLA flick as they will simply feel no connection to the characters.
Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America. There were 5 movies before we got to Avengers. It made people invest in the universe that was being presented.
WB doesn’t l

A serving of inspiration...
We are all different, but aren't we eventually deep down all the same? Maybe you believe that, maybe you don't. Sometimes life has a way of forcing you to believe things that you never thought you would - and making you meet people that normally would never belong in your circle of friends. But for one reason, that maybe you don't even know at first, you end up together.
Two people who would not normally meet end up together by circumstance and di

I'm not raspil...nor am I trying to be, given that raspil does a solid job of being raspil herself. But I think dA needs something like ScreamPrompts to kick everyone's ass up a notch, hence this group.I'm not raspil8 months ago in Literature Features More Like This
Read more about what's happening with ScreamPrompts here.
The first prompt will be up December 1. I want to make sure everyone has a chance to write for Scream before the end of the year, as raspil is planning to put an anthology together and, on top of the awesome you're already guaranteed to be a part of, the proceeds will be going to charity.
How is SadPrompts going to work?
I'm not a genius at prompts, so I welcome feedback on what type of challenges you'd like to see. Of course, if your complaint is "I struggled with this," I reserve the right to snicker in your general direction. That's the point. Now, if your complaint is "this is too easy," I'm all ears.
The prompts will be written for short prose (500-5,000 words).

Same-Sex Marriage.... Sorry, yeah, I may be going into a bit of a rant here, just for a brief warning.Same-Sex Marriage.2 years ago in Personal More Like This
So, same sex marriage... WHY is it not allowed? What exactly is peoples problem with it?
Sorry if this is a bit out of the blue, but recently in England there's supposed to be a big vote or something about whether homosexual marriage should be allowed, and a lot of people are apparently saying it shouldn't be.
Now some people think same sex marriage is 'traditional' or whatever, and of course there's the religious views, but apart from that... What is wrong with it? Marriage isn't even that much of a religious thing, I mean its literal meaning is 'is a social union or legal contract between people called spouses that establishes rights and obligations between the spouses, between the spouses and their children, and between the spouses and their in-laws.' In short its just a contract binding two people together. Why should that not be allowed for same sex couples?
From purely the relationship side of th
