Tutorial: How to straighten a wigOkay, I promised to translate the tutorials I wrote some time ago and today I'm starting with "How to straighten a wig". Please notice English is not my native language, so you might run into spelling, grammar or punctuation mistakes. I'm really sorry and hope you're able to understand it anyways. If you run into any kind of problems while reading feel free to ask in the comments.Tutorial: How to straighten a wig2 years ago in Personal More Like This
If you are able to understand German you can go to my Animexx weblog and read it there :3 Unfortunately dA doesn't support embedding my pics into the text so I had to put them directly over/under the text. Sorry for that!
I'm just showing you what works for me, so this is a "you can try this" and not a "this is the only way you can do it".
As you might know wigs are made out of plastic fibers. Plastic is a heat bendable material, so this is the essence of the both methods I will show you. Styling your wig with heat will also work for curling it, making spikes and so on. Please be careful whenev

A warning to the people
One of the questions I get a lot are "who do you buy ____ from?"
I always assumed that all sites were pretty equal,
but I recently have been, and still am, dealing with a dispute form a contact website,
they have broken their our rules but still refusing to refund the purchase,
and because of the way they worded the product paypal is refusing to step up.
I'm pretty burned,
and I know others have been screwed over,
or have had major problems from dealing with people online.
As well as people who have had amazing experiences.
Here is my list,
A list of the Good and the one Ugly I have received.
For Contacts, Wigs, and other things I have bought onli
BatmathI enjoyed the Nolanverse Batman films a lot, but I've just run the numbers:Batmath11 months ago in Personal More Like This
Bruce trained for 7 years (Alfred mentions his absence in Batman Begins) and he sulked for 8 years between Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises. Between that, and including the short time in Dark Knight Rises in which he wore the cowl, Nolanverse Bruce was only Batman for about a year, tops (Joker's line "Let's rewind a year" tells us this).
One. F**king. Year.
"Caped Crusader" the Nolanverse Batman is not.
He is "Bat Temp".

The Comfort of Mindless Obedience
When is information true and useful and when is it just “propaganda?” Why in fact is an image or phrase or animated art sequence “propaganda” rather than it simply being a “lie?” What about acceptable lies that define our society as much as they degrade it - - for example commercials that obviously hype a product with untruths or political advertisements full of unachievable platitudes.

"This piece of art was painted by a 27-year old very talented artist in Germany named Susan Hawkins. Personally, I find the art work to be spectacular. We thank her for letting us use the image."

RetardA couple of people (literally only two, but it's a matter worth mentioning) emailed me after they had read the most recent Sequential Art strip, in which the fictitious element “Retardium” is mentioned. Both messages voiced disapproval at my using the word “Retard” due to its slang referencing of the mentally disabled.Retard6 months ago in Personal More Like This
That interpretation of the word, in my eyes, is outdated.
Used in describing a mentally disabled individual, “retard” is a slur, and (as with any slur) anyone who says it in that context deserves a sharp blow to the head. However, used to describe a “wilfully ignorant, able-bodied idiot”, I think “retard” is perfectly acceptable. I’ll wager that everyone reading this knows someone that can accurately be described as a "f**king retard", none of whom are disabled in the slightest, nor in using the word is a mentally disabled person even thought of.
I’ve not heard “retard” used to des

When I first sold LMS to Paramount, a lot of people asked me: "How much money did you get?" "You're probably rich now, right?"
I mean, the solid gold mansion I bought was just a little gift to myself...but...
Ever since I was little, I've known I wanted to draw. From the day my parents put a pencil in my hand, this was my future. I just knew it, I had that gut feeling. So I stuck to it, and thankfully it took me to heights I'd have never imagined possible. Now with my new book Redemption heading off to studios soon for a hopeful movie package, I can't wait to see where this new road takes me.
That said, there's something else that tops all of this.
The other night I went out to visit my girlfriend's cousin and her family. Incredibly kind people with very sweet kids. Other than the two parents, there were 3 kids, but the one who caught my interest was the eight-year old boy, Diego.
Diego, shy, tiny, slender, reminded me of myself when I was his a

A New OutlookOkay....so this journal is going to be super random. I'm going to thank everyone right now for reading this. I greatly appreciate it. Now let's get started. As most of you are aware I'm a Naruto fan and now most of you are thinking where the hell I'm going with this, well....just keep reading. Lol. Anyways, I've always been a fan of Naruto, and when I say this I'm not talking about the show...I'm talking about Uzumaki Naruto as a person. As I read and watched the series he was the kind of the character that you knew everything about. The kid who had a rough childhood, who became the stories hero. Almost every anime turns out like this...the "hero" always has some sort of flaw that they have to get around. It wasn't until I watched episode 249 titled "Thank You" that I truly understood everything. I now have new respect for Naruto, his parents, and Masashi Kishimoto for writing such a touching, heartwarming story. I'm not going to spoil the story but to the ones who have read or watchedA New Outlook2 years ago in Personal More Like This
