I thought that, maybe, for once, things could possibly go my way. The little sign-up sheet didn't look threatening, filled with names of those who writhed beneath me. It was like a menagerie of the weak and helpless, their little spines taunt and pulling in their quivering whines as they attempted to validate their sense of worth in this pitiful sphere.
I figured it could be fun. Legalized brutalization, you know? Something to vent to, to unleash the fury that was my hate. They couldn't stop me on my way to the gold. They wouldn't even dare.
So I fell for it, this cruel and unfair joke, filling out that line with my lacking abilities.
And so I left it hanging there, apathetic after that point. It even dared to leave my mind entirely, that absent sheet, and, maybe, I could have even accepted that defeat.
But come it did, that announcement and trial to be, read not by my own eyes but by observation alone, my opponent only one of the pathetic maggots that had
A Chance Encounter in the WastelandThe petite bunny hybrid was currently perched atop a rather tall decaying building roof located god knows where in the wasteland. See, Abigail was not the best with directions... she kinda got distracted by, well-- practically everything. She was on her way to the Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters, but as she was heading that way she saw an interesting thing that she just had to explore... which lead her to another, and another... Need i go on? As you can figure, after all that, she currently didn't know where the fuck she was anymore. So when she spotted this small, desolated town which was barely still standing, she just shrugged it off her current predicament and ventured towards it.A Chance Encounter in the Wasteland8 hours ago in Comedy More Like This
The town was small, and it wasn't gated off from danger like a lot of the safe zones scattered throughout the area was. No one would be dumb enough to take refuge here... No, this town was just a reminder at what once was now... Abigail looked around the town as she ran a hand along one of the flaking wa

Lock, being adventurous, decides that today was the day to go out and look for herbs. [Is is radioactive? Dunno.] And for looking for these yummy [yucky] herbs he decides to scavenge near a [scary] cave and a high cliff because that's where those herbs grew. Luckily, it's the middle of the day, so there aren't many sketchy people lurking around. Until...
Lock could hear a shot echo in the distance of the cave, followed by a low rumble... And after a couple seconds following silence, a small bunny hybrid was seen sprinting out said cave, screaming something about her luck. A green ferret clung to her shoulder as she ran from what appeared to be a giant flock of mutated bats chasing after her. She glanced towards the large cliff edge and grinned. She picked up her speed and dived off it... Oh god, that was MUCH higher then she remembered it being when finding and entering the cave before. She flailed her arms in mid-a
Short Story- Frozen OverAnother day spent in the grueling frozen wasteland. Our supplies are nearly spent and nearly all of us gone... we trudge through the snow up to our waists, the frost overcoming us. Every day spent blind and freezing, hoping to survive the endless storm. We march south, trying to find warmer climates, and to get out alive. Most of us that are left have lost limbs and digits to frostbite; a few we needed to leave behind or put down. The storm is relentless, letting us freeze in this harsh weather, the beauty of individual snowflakes turned to a constant torrent of skin biting ice. I fear I may be close to my demise, as are others. We see only white ahead us, with only my compass as a guide. It had been weeks since we first departed from base camp. This forsaken place was only a detour- before our transport broke down. I now worry this will be our grave. I do not believe we will survive the ordeal, I just hope death will come quickly for us.Short Story- Frozen Over2 hours ago in Drama More Like This
