Medication I would be on a ton of medication for the next four to five years. It was always constantly shifting as to what I was on, and how many of each different medication I was taking at one time. It would shift based on trying new medications to see how I would react to them. Changing the amount of medications that I was on based upon if the Crohn's was getting better, or worse. Also having to be slowly come off a medicine, as some of them were dangerous to just try and come off of all at once.Medication1 day ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
The medications that I was constantly on during this time period include: Prednisone, Asacol, Zantac, and Levsin. Other medications were taken at different times as well. I was also having to drink Ensure throughout the day to help keep my nourishment levels where they needed to be. At my worst I was taking 27 pills at a time, three times a day. I was also drinking one can of Ensure, three times a day.

Welcome back to the show. I have seen massive amounts of violence lately (on the news) and it's upsetting. Can we all not get along? Is that not a possibility anymore? What the heck is going on?

Another Malaysian airliner was shot down in the Middle East. A rocket fired amongst the fighting in Israel seems to have hit it. The investigation is still ongoing, but evidence suggests it was a suicide flight, as the pilot could have easily maneuvered around the war-filled area altogether. Why would he fly directly into the open war zone? Is he trying to get himself and his passengers killed? It certainly seems that way.

Google has a plan apparently to shrink images down by up to 35%, which should increase the loading speed of most webpages, making them quicker to access. The only reason I can think of that as marginally better is if you were watching porn. Other than that, it's not very helpful. I'm not too happy w

Yosuga no Sora: ReviewYosuga no Sora: Review2 days ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
Yosuga no Sora was adapted into a 12-episode anime series that started airing on October 4, 2010. Each episode is roughly about 22 minutes long, minus the theme song and ending song. The main story is actually told in different arcs, telling the stories of the different girls and the main protagonist, yet also having a common theme.
Two twin siblings, Haruka and Sora Kasugano were orphaned in a terrible automobile accident leaving the twins to travel to their grandparents countryside using a railcar. They are two shattered souls, while looking the same in appearance they are very different in mind. However, these twins are both being unprepared for the difficult time that awaits them. Haruka desperately struggles to find what he truly is seeking inside himself, while also protecting his ailing sister.
Coming in to this anime, I expected a bit more of a less developed plot and just basic ecchiness and hentai. I didn't think that it wo

Welp, WWE Battleground 2014 was alright. Most of the matches were definitely fought well and exciting, but like a lot of people are saying, it was predictable. But yet, take this into consideration. Battleground was raped, and I mean RAPED by spoilers. Everywhere you look; Facebook, Youtube, etc. People left and right were spoiling all of the outcomes of the matches and I think that is why Battleground was very predictable. I loved most of the matches, but knowing the winner before hand is different than 'thinking' you know who is gonna win. Many of the matches just weren't as exciting as they could have been because of how b
The MessiahWho is the Messiah? How can we recognize Him?The Messiah3 days ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
Centuries ago prophets spoke of the coming of a great leader. He would be sent by God and would be called God's Anointed One--the Messiah. The ongoing interest in the state of Israel awakens renewed interest in the Messiah. Here are six descriptions that identify Him:
1. He must be of the lineage of Abraham.
Moses recorded the promise of God to Abraham in the following way: "In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 22:18).
2. He must be of the tribe of Judah.
When Jacob was dying, he said: "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of people be. (Genesis 49:10).
3. He must be of the house of David.
In Isaiah's prophecy of the Messiah we read: "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his king

All Truth is NarrowWhen considering truth, there are three aspects in which people can either be broad or narrow. All Truth is Narrow4 days ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
First, we ought to be broad in our sympathies. Wherever we live, in whatever status or culture, we ought to be sympathetic, seeking to be kind, generous, and understanding.
Second, we ought to be broad in our horizons. We ought not to be biased and prejudice toward others.
Third, we ought to be narrow in our acceptance and defense of truth, especially the truth about Almighty God. Truth is always narrow. Always. Not just some of it; all of it.
Let me illustrate it this way:"Two plus two equals four." Now some fellow comes along and says, "I'm not mathematically narrow-minded. I believe two plus two can equal fifteen or twenty. I'm broadminded in my mathematics." Well, let him go down to the bank and see how far he gets! He goes up to a teller and says, "I have a check here. I want to withdraw 500 dollars."

We were expecting to receive 2D drawing references for Rayman, but to our surprise, they sent us data of a brand new 3D model that they rendered for this game!! And that was how this trophy was created. It takes a lot of work creating each model, so it's wonderful that the creators contributed their own efforts!!

An Israel strike has killed four boys who were playing on the Gaza Beach. I tell you, this violence is getting out of hand. Obviously, people are upset at this attack, and it just means more conflict in the Middle East, which means the U.S. has one more thing to get involved in. I told Vibravo that we shouldn't go there on tour, if we ever do go on tour. That would be terrible.

Normally, I don't post gaming news on my series, but in this case, I made the exception. The new Super Smash Bros. game looks pretty cool. I don't know a majority of the characters, but it sure looks great. Vibravo knows like, all of them. That's nerdy of him. He says we're going to play it as soon as it comes out. Pssh, yeah right...

Steve Dark snapped awake, rolled out of bed, dropped to the floor.
Landing silently on his fingertips and toes, he stayed frozen in place and listened. Traffic hummed on nearby Sunset. Someone laughed, drunkenly. There was the faint click-clack of high heels on concrete. A car horn, muted and distant. Normal L.A. night sounds. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Supporting himself on fingertips and toes, Dark slowly crept through the house, keeping to the shadows, listening intently. The only sounds he could discern were the soft popping of his joints as he moved. Dark recovered his fifteen-round Glock 22 from
Those with rotting fleshThey live among us. Those with rotting flesh and dead stares. Maggots live on their skin, feeding off of the now dead. These are the albinos in Africa. Their skin is rotting because of the skin cancer they have contracted due to the lack of protection they had as kids. The sun hit their vulnerable skin directly as they played outside. They are 15, 20 years old, but dying. On top of that, some witch doctors from the region started a rumour years ago about albino's body parts having different curing and fertility properties. While albinism is a very rare condition in the worldwide population, it is much less rare regionally (in sub-saharan Africa) because of how it is genetically transmitted.

Even though I'm an artist and a writer, I'll start this article by talking about computer games for a few paragraphs because they contain some of the best examples of how limitations can be useful for creative people and creativity in general.... and it gives me yet another chance to talk about how old games are better than new ones too

Top Four Best Metallica Instrumentals Sometimes metal fans need a reminder that not every good song needs lyrics.Top Four Best Metallica Instrumentals1 week ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
This isn’t necessarily a “Top Ten” because the band only has four instrumentals. Please note that the songs are being judged for critical response, organization, and guitar solos as well as how effective the song is during the song length.
Also, I am not counting “Anesthesia” as an instrumental. It’s a bass solo, and most people rank it last on their personal favorites of instrumentals anyway. If I made a list about the best Metallica solos though, I’d have to include Anesthesia.

The Importance of Backstories in CharacterizationAs I’ve gotten back into the swing of writing and trying to come up with new story ideas, I have come to understand the importance of giving my characters detailed backstories. In the past, I have often had a habit of making my characters essential “blank slates” in order to make them seem more relatable. They usually came from ordinary backgrounds, with ordinary lives, and just happened to have extraordinary personalities. The problem with this, and I think many of you will understand this quite quickly, was that this often made them bland at the best and impossible to relate to at the worst. I find that the concept of an “ordinary background” is in itself fictional. Everyone has had something(s) extraordinary happen to them at some point in their lifetime, even if they don’t consider it to be all that extraordinary. These occurrences help shape who we are today, often serving as the background blue prints that keep us unique and prevent us from beiThe Importance of Backstories in Characterization2 weeks ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
Dinosaurs...Warm or Cold Blooded?Dinosaurs were neither warm or cold blooded. That's what the evidence is showing. believe it or not, there is a median between warm and cold bloodedness, called mesotherm. This metabolism range is today occupied by tuna, lamnid sharks and leatherback sea turtles. mesotherms burn energy within to create body heat, but don't keep a constant body temperature like birds or mammals. To test this, John Grady, a biologist, and his collegues, compiled a database of of growth rates in 381 animal species, including 21 dinosaurs. With the dinosaurs, they used growth rings to calculate age, and measured the bones to get the over all mass. When they were done, all the animals metabolisms ranged from slow growing crocs to fast growing horses. the scientists used this information to find the metabolic rates of dinosaurs, which came up midway on the metabolic scale. And thus, the mesotherm was born.Dinosaurs...Warm or Cold Blooded?2 weeks ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
