I'm confused. A few weeks ago we were told in the West that people occupying government buildings in Ukraine was a very good thing. These people, we were told by our political leaders and elite media commentators, were 'pro-democracy protestors'.
The US government warned the Ukrainian authorities against using force against these 'pro-democracy protestors' even if, according to the pictures we saw, some of them were neo-Nazis who were throwing Molotov cocktails and other things at the police and smashing up statues and setting fire to buildings.
Now, just a few weeks later, we're told that people occupying government buildings in Ukraine are not 'pro-democracy protestors' but 'terrorists' or 'militants'.
Why was the occupation of government buildings in Ukraine a very good thing in January, but it is a very bad thing in April? Why was the use of force by the authorities against protestors completely unacceptable in January, but acceptable now? I r
More than you can Shake a Stick at: W3: D3The idiom ‘more than you shake a stick at’ means ‘there is more here than can be easily counted’.More than you can Shake a Stick at: W3: D32 days ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
So I can quite easily say that I have more Yu-Gi-Oh cards than I shake a stick at. My entire collection consists of two full folders, six or seven fifty card decks plus one deck of forty (making a total of at least six hundred and forty cards in decks alone) plus a large pile of cards awaiting to be housed into more folders.
Out of all these cards I do have my favourites. One of which happens to be Lava Golem which can only be brought into play by sacrificing two of my own monsters, then it comes into play under my opponents control, which having an attack strength of 3000 is not something you want to be giving away, however Lava Golem has a rather unpleasant side effect, for each turn you have it on your side of the battlefield you must sacrifice 1000 of your life points. A hefty sacrifice to make. When I then combine it with Spellbinding Circle or Shadow Spe
Eat Humble Pie: W3: D1When one is required to ‘Eat humble pie’ what is being asked is to swallow one’s pride, or to rein in one’s Ego a little in order to avoid arrogance.Eat Humble Pie: W3: D13 days ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
I enjoy reading manga and watching anime and in my perusing I have stumbled across a few characters who are in need of eating a slice of humble pie (or two).
Firstly Naruto [Naruto]. The arrogant, cocky little trainee ninja whose Ego gets in the way of his brilliance.
Secondly Seto Kaiba [Yu-Gi-Oh]. The multi-millionaire business tycoon who is one of the best Duel Monster players out there (although having ‘invented’ the game he does hold a significant advantage). His Ego and moody demeanour stops him bonding with the other heroes and leads to him being unable to overcome evil even though his skills should permit him to.
Finally Black Star [Soul Eater]. The loud-mouthed, cocky, arrogant upstart of a assassin whose immense sense of vanity has given him a superiority complex where he believes he can disma
Test-Takers, you have your own Patron Saint!I am Jewish, but the list of Christian Saints can make fascinating reading; while reading through it, I came across this interesting fellow: Saint Joseph of Cupertine, Patro Saint of test-takers, among other things.Test-Takers, you have your own Patron Saint!19 hours ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
So if you're taking an impossible test and don't know who to pray to, now you do: your very own patron saint, Saint Joseph will look out for you.
How Does it Feel to Have a Phobia? The shock comes first. You see it, and it scares you. Your eyes get wide and your breath goes faster. You try to remain calm, but you know it won’t help. Then, the tremor comes. Your hands start shaking uncontrollably. Quite small movements at first, but they grow bigger and bigger and more unbearable. Your hands are not the only things shaking, the whole you is trembling, feeling the desire to get away. You suddenly get the urge to cut off your peripheral body parts; arms, legs, head…Everything need to be taken away, so nothing can attack you there. The feeling of your own body parts is so noticeable, and it troubles you so much. The pain is tremendous, although it is neither physical nor mental.
The paranoia-like feeling gets you. You start looking around everywhere around you; up in the skies or ceiling, behind you, to your sides, at the ground or floor. You are so afraid of seeing it, but you are just as afraid of

Very Good Spanish Goth Band...
Here the interview translated in italian: http://www.darkitalia.it/magazine/interviste/2720-spagna-gotica-a-crying-rose.html
this is the original text, I've uploaded here for all the fans in the world
1) Hello and welcome here! Let's introduce yourself!
Hi Lunaria and thanks for this interview! My name is Paolo Greco, founder and sole member of A Crying Rose. Despite what seems to be an obviously Italian name, my Italian ancestry stopped at my grandparents...
2) A Crying Rose: why have you chosen this monicker?
A mixture of ideas and circumstances -- some romantic, some rather trivial. I had always liked red roses and the image of a weeping rose has a clear romantic aura to it. And then just as I was starting to write songs for this project, I happened to come across a beautiful ring that eventually became the band's painted logo which you see in some of the videos on youtube.
3) You play a very gloom, dark Gothic Rock... can you describe your bio

Life as a Princess
Welcome back to the show. I'm finally back from the 2014 Eon Awards. It was amazing, and you should definitely check it out. I wanna give a huge shoutout to Maria for hosting the 110th episode. It was great, I saw it. Thanks for that. Go check out Red Riding Hood: Exposed if you love it. But we have a lot to cover, so let's not waste any time.

A South Korean ferry has sunk off the coast of South Korea. About 300 people went missing, and about nine were pronounced dead. The causes of the boat to tilt and sink are unknown. That's truly scary. I really hope that the kids get rescued. Most of them were on their senior night. Talk about unlucky. It's a fair assumption that North Korea was behind it.

Congratulations to Voltage for winning the 2014 Grand Eon Award. It's an incredible feat, and it is also the biggest award of the entire show, and perhaps the universe. After No-name won the last one, I figured he would

Terrae's Journal #3-In battle practice, I was matched up with a girl named Blake. Honestly, I always thought that was a guy’s name. Oh well, I have no room to talk, she beat me easily. Greyson lost, Azure won, and Ember lost too. Who would have known Ember can actually hold her own against a girl with shotgun fists?Terrae's Journal #33 days ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
-Well today was exciting. Some special class happened, and we were supposed to team up with another team. Things didn’t go as planned. There was a little bit of a fight between the two teams, and we got in a little trouble with the administration. One of their team members ended up on our side, and I instantly knew she was a faunus. I had to say I liked her feathers first, seemed like a nicer way to start a conversation than “hey, are you a faunus?” Things like that can be pretty sensitive sometimes.
-The girl seems pretty nice. She stopped by again today, and it turns out we like a lot of the same stuff. It looks like she’s gonna be friends with our team. She
Let's Hear it for an Enlightened Man!I must say, I knew about all the philanthropic activities of ex-President Carter but this last item truly epitomizes this man's strength of character and beliefs. Too sad he isn't still our president. Would have been interesting to see what he might have done if he'd been in office after the damage the Bushs had done to the US's reputation worldwide. Perhaps we wouldn't be in such deep doo with everyone now.Let's Hear it for an Enlightened Man!3 days ago in Articles & Interviews More Like This
Anyway, I really hope his message on the treatment of women gets more than lip service by the world. Right now I'm sick and tired of being treated like second or third class citizen ... as if we weren't as important as a male in the scheme of life. It seems males need something to dominant and women are the convenient target. And using religion as a reason for their bad behavior is even more heinous.
I'm going to give this man's book a read. Perhaps you should to. (This is my opinion so don't get your panties in a twist if you don't agree w
