Leaving and WaitingThe day was just busy as he predicted. As soon as the poor witch woke up, Yukiko was enthusiastically telling her about Blu and his discovery. Of course the thought of freeing Victoria from her plague, Melanie was willing to help. Jack, Melanie and Yukiko spent the day racing through the streets, buying supplies and rations for the trip. They would have to find Quida and Caz before locating Victoria, but it humbled the poor tin man for all the support.Leaving and Waiting13 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Blu stayed behind at The Black Sheep while the others where out. He called on a few favours for Emily. He felt awful for suddenly taking all of her staff. It was a good thing that people seemed to remember him and like him enough to help him.
"Blu, I'll be ok. You don't need to do all of this for me."
"Emily," He put the phone back on the receiver and faced the woman with a smile, "It's alright. Honestly. Besides it's not fair that I take everyone and leave you alone."
She smiled wearily, laughing softly, "You're too kind..."

Blue Ink - Chapter 2I stared up at the stars in the sky as I sat on the ground, beneath a tree. I could see them burning crisply against the dark sky, and I could see them clearly. I couldn’t remember the last time I had been able to see them like that, because I had needed to wear glasses for the last five years. And even with them on, the stars still looked slightly blurry.Blue Ink - Chapter 216 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
I looked down and stared at my new legs, which were stretched out in from me. I turned my new hands over and held them up a little so I could see them. They looked almost black in the lack of light, but I knew they were blue in colour. When I stared at them, the orange glow from my optics made them look almost like a blue-brown.
What was I going to do? I rested my hands on my lap. I was no longer human. I was stuck in a body that wasn’t my own, which meant I could never return to my family as myself. Only as Mirage, and only if I desired.
The ridges above my optics lowered and a contemplative frown appeared on my face. Co
Sol.Terra - Episode 3: EmpathPia moved as close to the edge as she dared and peeked over. The sheer drop plummeted down so deep the light didn’t reach the bottom, the canyon walls faded into darkness. Head spinning with vertigo, she quickly stepped back and extended a hand to touch the rock face behind her. The smooth stone was cool and reassuring. She glanced at Cal, he hadn’t taken his eyes off his scanner for the last few minutes, and Pia had been left to test her nerve on the narrow, railless path. Colourful Idroobans swooped above and below them, darting from one side of the canyon to the other as if they were crossing the street.Sol.Terra - Episode 3: Empath2 days ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Although feathered, Pia thought the Idroobans more resembled bats, gliding on wings that stretched between their fore and rear limbs. Pressing her back against the pale rock, she tilted her head back to watch them. Her brother, Harry, would have leapt at the chance to see them, he loved flying more than anything. Her heart constricted and her stomach clenched as she reme

The questions went on, the poor cloaked figure trying to regain order of the motley crew in the tavern. Jinerawfaoihojn, Jinera for short, lounged back at her table with more of her mates and fellow crew as they feasted tonight. It wasn't often that they would dine like this, but when they did they always would be merry about it and deeply enjoy one another's company, and perhaps those of others more willing to hang around the rowdy crowd.
Jinera of course kept a close eye on Peler. The cloaked story teller of theirs was a Kasomen, something feared
LighthouseHe gasped loudly and coughed wildly to expel the water that was trapped in his lungs. He shivered as the icy wind picked up and another wave crashed down upon him. He gasped as the current tyres to drag his body back into the ocean. He scrambled to grab onto the jagged rocks around him. The waves came down hard on him again and he remand steadfast; clinging to the rocks, digging his knees into the sand.Lighthouse2 days ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
He pushed his body forward before the tide could claim him. Tired pants followed him as he climbed the bulkhead before finally collapsing in the sand on it's peck. His matted and tangled hair covered his face from the world around him. He knew that being out in the open like this would lead to his destruction, but he could not find the strength in himself to move.
He felt weak as he laid helplessly on the beach. How he got there, he couldn't remember. He just remembered yellow eyes and yellow teeth. He shivered at the thought, curling in on himself. Another picture flashed in his mind.
AA: CAE: SadiBeing born entirely white is considered lucky in Lausurian culture. The white hide is normal but the white blush is not as commonly found. So white on white is considered a lucky sign, or a blessing from their religion. Thankfully his parents were not religious, but it was a point of ironic interest that he was one of the 'blessed' children when he hatched. The reason for this was because of his clear disability from birth as his fingers had not fully separated. This left both of his hands with just thumbs and two fingers to each hand. They had the width as if he had four fingers normally, but the two 'fingers' were split between where the middle and ring fingers would be.AA: CAE: Sadi2 days ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
This was a concern for the parents. The doctors did screen to see if it were possible that a reconstruction surgery could be performed, however the bones were fused together, making it virtually impossible. So his parents would have to learn how to work around their child's disability. He would be named Sadi, and his

Jack woke slowly the next morning. Artificial sunlight streamed in through the windows of his bedroom, almost making the whole thing look unreal.
Thankfully, his ankle seemed to feel better.
“Ah, good morning Jack.” Thomas greeted Jack cheerily when he got down to the kitchen, “Hope you’re hungry.”
“I am, thanks.”
“Could you go and see if Mira is up?”
Jack nodded and went to the room that had once belonged to Thomas’ sister. He heard music drifting out of the room, along with someone singing along, somewhat badly.
Mira was sitting on the edge of the bed, clad in a fluffy white bathrobe, singing along with the music.
“Aerosmith, eh?” Jack announced himself, leaning on the doorframe, his hands in his pockets. Mira jumped a little, instinctively pulling the bathrobe a little tighter.
“You know it?”
“Dude (looks like a lady),” Jack specified, “From thei

Crystonia: Chapter 1 part 3The sun was high in the sky when they took a break. The merchant made them stop here because the road crossed a small lake from which the oxen could drink. The others went and filled their bottles with the lake water to drink. Jace didn't because it was stagnant, murky water that would likely get them sick. The undergrowth swished around his legs as he walked, keeping his eyes open for any berries. It was taking them longer than expected to get to Crystonia so their food supplies were low. He also found some wild strawberries that he popped in his mouth as he continued on the hunt for water.
He stopped dead in his tracks. Something was following him, he could hear the cracking and swishing of something moving through the woods. He tensed up, reaching for his sword and spun around, ready

I was back the next morning. Or was it way past midday? I saw my team fully active, playing cards as normal already. Must have been quite late. Longing with bulky collar sat on the couch, staring at me emptily. He was waiting for somebody to return. They never showed. Instead I came back. He wished that I haven’t. He wanted his friend back instead.
Solitude was popping a vein of irritation nearby from having to listen to his loyal companion. Was that even him? The style was unrecognisable. Leather belts on his slim torso instead of a long-sleeved size-too-big abomination. I only assumed that was him because of the Overly Nice Guy next to him. He put his arms around his ward and Flashy didn’t shake them off. Couple shared a slobbery kiss.
My eyes moved on. Scanned over the gym once. Blonde’s ranks seemed lacking. How many of his groupies got sold off? Crazed Smile was there too, looking at me. I was too empty to react in any way to that anymore. I gave everything I had

MATTERCONVERTER: the matterconverter is one of the core technologies of the Nuclean Ecumene. A matterconverter uses a combination of magnetic and gravitational fields as well as physi-beams to rearrange matter on the chemical, atomic, and subatomic levels. This allows the conversion between wholly different substances, such as plastic and metal. A matterconverter can also condense energy into matter and vice versa, allowing a matterconverter to be attached to a reactor to produce material at a rapid rate. There are limits to this however, as the amount of energy required to make matter in phenomenal, making it easier to convert between substances. Matterconverter systems are applied in many different ways, from ship repair systems to construction to medecine.

But he was not in possession of his gun; it was Vincent instead who possessed the firearm. As the wind blew through the latter's hair, an ominous silence covered the land. Vincent stood vigilantly against the Anno, whilst the old Elite mimicked his same movements. Neither side made a noise; both knew that nobody was going to come out of this confrontation alive. And after a few more seconds passed, Vincent cracked a smile.
"What the hell you doing here, Split-jaw?" Vincent asked. "Can't you see that we're busy?"
"I will not allow you to go any further with this." Anno responded. "Leave, and I might spare you."
"Look, I asked you a simple question." Vincent bellowed. "Why the fuck are you here?!
