The door shut with a very pleasing whisper. Airtight, keeping the heat in for my dearest Abby.
What do you expect when you go on a walk? Is it to find something, to see someone? I didn't have any other reason besides intuition. As my walk got faster it turned into a jog. The crisp air smoothed over my face and messed through my hair. My strides were familiar, soft yet purposeful.
I was running.
Everything seemed white. There was a bit of snow but frost covered what the snow couldn't. My chest started to hurt suddenly, maybe, I wasn't prepared for this morning as much as I thought.
The only thing that could escape was, "this sucks!"
I approached a bench. It was looking over the bay, still waters were a rare sight. A sheet of blue in the middle of a crystal city.
