“Hey, where are you going, Carl?”
“Oh, uh, you know, home.”
I cringe as Scott Young presses me against a fence. You know, just one day without this sort of abuse would be nice. Just one day.
“You made me flunk my History test, smartass! How many times do I have to tell you to make your answers visible?”
“I tried!” I exclaim, “Dude, Mrs. Grier has the eyes of a hawk. Both of us could’ve gotten detention!”
“I could care less about detention,” Scott sneers, “I have it almost every day anyway. YOU, on the other hand, need to man up! Better both of us take the fall than me getting an F!”
“I’m not done,” my aggressor cuts in, “Listen, do I need to remind you why we’re having this talk?”

"Squad Leader (Y/N)! The meeting is going to start soon!"
Oh, right. There was another meeting. You detested meetings. And so did your boyfriend of two years, Levi.
You grumbled a small "thanks" to the cadet at your doorway, and put your paperwork aside.
Honestly, the relationship you had with Levi was a surprising one, especially because you had to keep it a secret. The military wasn't fond of relationships between its members, especially ones between squad leaders.
Their excuse was, "Blah blah distraction blah blah court cases blah blah death."
Anyone in a romantic relationship had to fill a shit ton (Levi's favorite unit of measurement) of paperwork, and the entire military would know. And if you guys broke up?
Every single person would know.
So it was in your's and Levi's best interest to keep quiet, and enjoy the times in broom closets and midnight strolls through the woods. At least now you knew why Levi had the cadets clean every

“Have a nice day, ma’am.”
“Why, thank you, young gentleman!”
I sigh as I stare at my watch. 3:59. My shift is just about over. I take my apron off and I head to the locker room behind the deli counter. Though working the counter job at a deli is hard work, it’s worth it if I get to call anything my own.
As I finish getting my things together, my boss, Jeff, walks up to me.
“I’m impressed, Daniel,” my boss begins, “Most of the teens who take shifts here expect easy pay. You, though, you work hard.”
“It’s, well, it’s nothing,” I say, trying hard not to smile, “I just don’t want to half-ass anything.”
“Well that’s a good thing to hear!” Jeff says with a laugh, “We don’t want you to be undeserving of your new raise, am I right?”

“Good Morning, Crystal Beach! Today, it looks like it will be smokin’ hot at 92°, so don’t forget to put on some sunscreen, hit the beach, and enjoy yourselves! With that being said, continue to enjoy the rest of this fine morning by listening to these summer classics on 93.8 Platinum.”
I groan as I get out of bed. Besides not having a good night’s sleep, I’ll also have to endure an entire day of heat. Shrugging, I turn off my radio and head off to my kitchen.
As I make myself some breakfast, I decide on what I want to do. I could always stick it out inside by watching TV or browsing the internet, but then again, I’ve been quite the shut-in lately. I haven’t seen or talked to my friends lately, nor have I gone out just to have fun.
I look out of my window, and I sigh. Though I don’t live right on the beach, it’s only about

Derrick considered the question carefully, “a maternity store of some sort?”
Keeping her attention to driving Charlie shook her head slightly. She smugly grinned, “No, you’d think they would be a good place to go, but usually not.”
“Alright, I give up?” he shrugged.
“Guess!” Charlie insisted.
“I did, I got it wrong.” Derrick smiled helplessly at Charlie.
“You only took one guess! Alright, a clue,” Charlie narrowed her eyes conspiratorially, “it’s ironically named.”
Derrick stared blankly back at Charlie in the driving seat. “Ironically named? What’s that suppose to mean?”
Charlie sighed. She repeated her clue, “It’s IRONICALLY named.” She stressed the word ‘ironically’ and then looked over to Derrick as if comprehension would suddenly blossom. It did not.
He favored her with a sour stare. “That’s not really helping, I heard you the

She needed to talk to them.
There was no surprise to what she saw when she found them, they were a distinctive couple, even in a cafeteria as crowded as this one, they were hard to miss, two women alone at a table loaded down by empty plates. They were a familiar sight, the generously rounded giant, Mackayla, six foot one and 270 pounds of juicy, jelly-bellied woman, stuffing her fat, round face beside the slightly chubby, but equally ravenous and utterly ravishing form of Angel, a quiet and shy thing, beautiful, with a bountiful bosom, big enough to make the greek goddess Aphrodite feel flat-chested.
Five days a week, Monday to Friday, Ariana was right there with them, another overweight college girl at the table. One more gluttonous beauty, giving herself over to the gratification of an achingly full tummy, stuffing her well-earned gut past the point of sanity to reach that pure, b

"I want a kid." I stated bluntly. England spit out his tea and France choked on a croissant. "Bloody hell America why on earth would you want a kid?" England shouted annoyed. "Oui, zhe are a lot of responsibility." France stated. I shrugged, "I just feel like there's something missing in my life...I want somebody to look after and take care of." I said looking out the window. England scoffed. "Get a dog." He said before laughing. I rolled my eyes and stood, "What? Do you guys think I wouldn't be a good parent? I sure as hell would be better than you! I may not be prim and proper but at least I'm caring and protective and I would only want the best for my kid!" I shouted.
England and France looked at me wide-eyed. France grinned, "you know...I was a great parent thank you very much but...you do 'ave a point. Oui you are obnoxious, annoying and compulsive but I 'ave a feeling you would be a good parent. I just said they are a lot of

I walked out of the allies meeting into the downpour of rain. "That bloody git...can he not go two minutes without gorging himself on burgers." I mumbled trying to walk though the rain though I could hardly see what was in front of me. I walked past a large park and noticed something faintly moving in the field. "What the bloody hell is that..." I muttered going towards it. It...it was a girl! A small child who looked afraid. She noticed me then started to run towards me. I stood frozen, not sure what to do. She reached me and hugged my leg. "Mister! C-can you h-help me?!?!" She said looking up at me. I sighed and picked her up but before I could get a good look at her face she dug it into the crook of my neck. I rushed though the rain with the shivering child in my arms. I unlocked the front door to my house and entered. I suddenly was able to hear a light snore coming from the child. I felt her small arms, they where freezing. "Well...I suppo

“Connie, don’t even try,” I said to the boy standing on the other side of the table. “You’re never going to make it.”
“I don’t think it’s even possible,” Jean added. He smirked. “But then again, it might work considering how big your mouth is.”
“Ha ha,” Connie deadpanned as he folded his arm and stuck out his elbow. “One of my friends back home could do it, and I wanna show him that I can do it, too!”
“Do what?” Bertholdt asked me when he made his way over to our table. He took the seat on my left side and began eating his tray of food.
I leaned closer to him and replied in a low voice, “Connie’s trying to lick his elbow, but we know he can’t. His neck is too short, and his arms are too long.”
He chuckled. “Sorry I asked.”
I grinned and turned my attention back to Connie, who was now attempting to lick his elbow. He stretched out his neck and p

Marvin was someone who rarely got into trouble or altercations with anybody. He wasn't one to start arguments or get anybody angry with him, since he was a rather timid and shy person himself. Plus, he didn't have the best stature to stand up against a fight, if he ended up in one. Of course, someone he knew years ago was sent to prison because of something that happened between them. Marvin had accidentally spilled a can of worms about one his friends cheating on another one of his friends. Because of it, his friend was literally out to kill him because he destroyed potential happiness. Since then, he's been in prison.
It was another crisp afternoon in October. Marvin was in a cafe, toying around with a new tablet he'd bought. He was sitting on a sofa, sipping from a bottle of tea he'd bought. He looked up, seeing two police cars and a nice looking car following behind. He smiled, thinking back to something that used to make him smile about cops and donuts. T

“All aboard train 42 bound for Washington!” yelled the conductor. I ran down the station platform. I can’t miss this! It’s the last train of the day, and I’d have to walk otherwise!
I jumped onto the doorway just as the train begun to move. The conductor looked at me with a bit of a frown, but it was nothing a $10 bill couldn’t fix. “Right this way, sir,” she motioned me as she pocketed the money. “Would you prefer a general seat or to sit in our new quiet section of the train?”
A quiet section? That sounds awesome! I had so much work to get done on the train, so an area without babies or children would be lovely. “Quiet please,” I said.
“OK, please remember no cell phones or loud discussions,” she said leading me to the car on the far end of the car. Inside were all girls, but it was nothing I hadn’t seen before – girls tended to like quieter areas. But, wait… No cell phones… th

This one does have a lot of Romano in it, but I am going to be making one with just Romano.
I cringed hearing yet another crash and scream from my neighbors. "Dios mio..." I muttered. Just then Romano came downstairs into my view. "Got don't-a they ever stop?" He said. I nodded in agreement. "I can't belive they would do that in front of their child." He muttered. My eyes widened. "They have a child???!" I yelled worried. Romano nodded, "SÍ, I think her name is (name), I've seen her a couple times. She only a bambino." He said as he pulled tomatoes out of the fridge. "Que?!? We need to go save her! She can't live like that!" I said before quickly going and grabbing my jacket. Suddenly Romano grabbed ahold of my arm. "Antonio. What-a the hell are you doing to do?" He asked in a serious tone. Although Gaea was being so insistent on them all sitting down and sharing a meal together, Tabitha was still unsure about taking her seat. Morgana had already accepted Gaea's offer, an act which already stunned Tabitha when making consideration of the other woman's 'difficult' personality, but she had already loosened some of the wrappings tied across her waist so that she could fit the maximum amount of food possible. Tsara and Yangdra had no such restrictions, and they were already far along into their meals, with bellies stuffed drum-tight and piles of dishes like towers rising high above them.

The waves crashed softly onto the sands, washing away a little kid’s sandcastle. Whether it was high tide or low tide, I couldn’t really tell. I simply knew that every day, the same story would happen. Families would run down to the beach, build sandcastles, and the relentless waves would destroy them a few hours later.
I reached out to the sandcastle as if to save it, and was greeted by the familiar sensation of glass pressing against my hand. The same window pushed back in return, as if to remind me that I was supposed to be in my hospital bed.
A nurse walked by and reminded me so a lot more forcefully than the window ever did. Within minutes, I was back in the dull dark room with nothing but a TV to keep me company.
“Are you expecting visitors today?” asked the nurse in charge of scheduling. I shook my head to tell her no, but she should have known the response. Nobody ever visited me, outside of the person my parents named as a guardian in case anything happ

I sat in the back seat watching out the window as all the trees flew by. I groaned...today I have to go to daycare...why would I want to do that when I could stay at home with my big brothers Alfie and Mathew? "Daddy! Why can't u stay at home with Alfie and Mattie?" I asked looking at my British father driving. He looked at me in the rear view mirror. "Because their at school love." He said. "Do I have to go to school?" I asked. He chuckled and nodded. "Yes poppet, at one point you need to go to school." He said. I huffed and watched as we pulled up to the daycare that I toured with my daddy last month.
My dad got me out of the car and held my hand as we walked though the doors only to be greeted by a woman with bright green eyes and pretty blonde hair who was known as Ms. Belgium. "Oh! Hello Arthur! Hello (name)! You look so pretty today! Did your daddy get you all dressed up

“Recruiting – Young Secretary for Summer Employment”. The newspaper’s classifieds gleamed in my eyes. If I had to get a job, this would be the one. I loved to type and organize, so compared to the alternatives of flipping burgers or landscaping, this was a great job.
“Hey guys, check it out!” I said to Tom and Peter. They looked over the article and shook there heads.
“You see this?” said Tom pointing to a spot on the ad. “Females Preferred. You should know that when a company prefers something, that means it’s a requirement.”
“That’s discrimination,” I rebuked. “He cannot legally only hire females for a position like this.”
Peter shrugged his shoulders. “Can’t be helped. These business people love to break rules through small loopholes.”
I smiled. “You forget about my high score in the 10th grade forensics bee.”

I call her Manic.
She’s practically jumping out of her bones; she’s so damn thin and perfect. I turn over on my side away from her. “I’d rather stay in bed today, thank you,” I mutter.
“Oh no you don’t,” I hear her answer determinedly. She pulls me out off the mattress with surprisingly strong arms. I end up on the floor swaddled in my own comforter.
Giggling Manic says “C’mon, we’re going to have some fun tonight.”
I cringe inwardly at thought. When it comes to Manic, fun can mean almost anything.
I force myself to dress, to brush my teeth, to even try to make something of my face and hair. Manic is fluttering behind me. The feeling in my chest tightens. I’
