Himaruya's Island for Peculiar People
I was finally able to travel the world on my own, being 18 years old and all. I had recently been staying at my aunt's place in Japan with her family when she told me a story she had been hearing from locals.
"There is a mysterious island close to here that had been abandoned almost 100 years ago," she said at the dinner table.
"Really? Does it have ghosts of soldiers or something?" I had asked.
"No one knows," she replied, "no one goes there."
"I only hear rumors from my co-workers. I doubt they be real."
"A creepy island...? Seems like my sort of ordeal!" I exclaimed, "I think I'm gonna go check that place out."
"Oh, be careful then," my aunt told me, "there's a town across the waters from it you can stay in a hotel or apartment there. How long will you be in Japan?"
"About year or just a few months," I replied.
After that I ventured off to the town that was close to the haunted island. I bought an apartment in town. It wa

And the problem with Ema, was that, well. Um.
“Hey! I heard from your sister that you’re living with a guy now! Where is he?” An all-too-familiar pair of rose-tinted shades and an honorable attempt to resurrect three decade-old clothes (that smelled like they were fresh out of a thrift-store, mixed with cologne and smoke) stood in his doorway on a tall, lithe frame. The guy pushed past M just like any other door and scoped the apartment for another being.
“...Why are you talking to my sister?”
The new visitor took it upon himself to open all the doors in the apartment, even the cupboards. He got to the refrigerator, opened it...
... And pulled out a chocolate milk. He popped the top and took a gulp. “Is he not here?”
Was, well, Ema had a slight pro

Heaving up a small pack of potatoes, you passed it over to Sasha since she seemed to like them best. The brunette gave you a thankful smile, and then swung the bag around her neck so it hung on her back.
It was the day the small Survey Corps group, including you, were moving out to begin the long journey to the Walls. Now that you thought about it, Armin mentioned that the forest you were living in was still in Wall Rose, and that you could of either saw Maria or Rose anytime if you could of spared the time.
Watching everyone around you, about everyone had something to carry. Sasha had the potatoes, Bertolt with a small pot in his bag, Levi with a large knife, Mikasa with a bag vegetables... Basically simple food that would be good enough to survive for a few days. Everyone also had a sleeping bag on them. They all had their share. As for you, you had a small pack of matches and rolls of bandag
Wednesday NightThe ceiling was smooth and black, and Silver sort of wished it was dirty and bumpy like Ethan’s so it would at least be interesting to look at. After all, he spent an unreasonable amount of time staring at it. The majority of his time at “home” was spent lying on his bed, and glaring at his boring ceiling until dinner, and then again until he fell asleep. Everything was so structured, every piece of furniture matched and there were no patterns in the plain white carpet. Breakfast was 6:30 and dinner at the same time at night. It was horribly monotonous.Wednesday Night1 hour ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Until the doorbell rang.
Silver bolted straight up in his bed. No one came to their house. Could it be the police? He rolled off the black comforter and flung open the heavy black curtains he usually kept drawn in front of the gargantuan window that over looked their driveway. It took a moment to adjust to the sunlight, but when he did what he saw filled him with horror; Lyra’s car was parked in the drivew

Dusty grinned as he flew behind a few other planes in his latest race. He closed his eyes as he reveled in the cheers of the crowd. As much as he liked the thrill of racing, nothing could compare to the crowd’s cheers. It meant he had done something that no one had expected him to do, and come out on top. Opening his blue eyes again, Dusty narrowed them as he saw an opening. He turned and sped by the last few planes into first place. It was time to make his move…
“And number seven, Dusty Crophopper, wins!” The announcer screamed as Dusty came in for a landing. He spun around with a smile on his front as his friends, Skipper Riley, Sparky, Chug, and Dottie, all cheered at his successful finish. While he was thrilled at his finish, deep down, he was nervous about his upcoming mission…
“Dusty, you were just a small town crop-duster who overcame impossible odds to win the Wings around the Globe Rally and become an air racing legend. Ho

The Pidgeotto walked calmly into the office room, her talons click-clacking on the smooth floor. Behind the desk ahead of her, the Commander of the Alpha Base PRT did his best to smile at the sight of her. He had no reason to do so normally, and she knew that too as she forced herself to repress a smile of her own. She did have somewhat of a history, after all, or a track record. She was used to how this meeting might go, but then she was also aware that it might not be the same reason this time. You should always keep things like that in mind.
'Ah, Felicia. You made it on time,' the Crobat said thankfully. 'Please take a seat, or at least perch.' Obediently, for once, Felicia hopped up onto one of the arms of the chairs. Sitting was such a pain for birds.
A few seconds of silence ticked by. Of course, to let her stew slightly. The idea was that by keeping silent he might force her to speak first, which given her history with his department would be 'Look, I can

No, no, no...

A prophecy of some sort. Finding two Chaos Emeralds to leave this island. Creatures named Nightmares. A question that I shouldn’t hear from Andy. Mario and Sonic.
It was all confusing, but as confused as I was, all I really wanted was to leave. My family was probably worried about me, wondering if I was still alive, and looking for me. They had no idea that I was here on Paradise Island, and even if they did, they’d try to help me get back home.
Andy called the island my new home, but my parents would NEVER hand me over to him. They know that our friend ship has been down the drain for years, so they’d never leave me alone with

“Ahahah ok, sorry! And anyway your home is very simple, but in the meanwhile so so beautiful”
“Thank you”-said Annie-“There’s just the essential for living”, and while she was saying that sentence, Annie unveiled her head, unleashing her beautiful shining black hair.
“Annie!”-shouted out Morgan.
“Yes? What happens?”
“You hair are so beautiful. You are so beautiful! That black veil kills your beauty”
“Come on, stop flattering me and my house”-answered Annie with a smile-“Let’s cook something to eat!”

Blue World IntroA lot of people said there was only vastness out there. But I disagreed. A lot of people only do temporary rent on the Symphony, but the land was always too crowded for my family, so we choose to live here permanently. That's the norm actually- there's not much land on Poseidon- it's a planet mostly covered in water; it has less land space than Earth- the distant planet we migrated from who knows how long ago. I'm interested in Earth's culture and history- but I don't have much of a desire to go there. I prefer sailing the planet, with my books and music and camera at my side. I love to read and write- in fact, my job on the ship is to man and organize the library (when I'm not on pool duty up on the sports deck) which gives me plenty of time to read.Blue World Intro5 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

It wasn't the kind of cheap Russian one you saw most insurgents swanning about in, but a modular tactical rig like Jackal's, with a Kevlar bib to carry a small arms protective insert (SAPI) plate and a Pouch Attachment Ladder System, a network of heavy-duty nylon strips that allowed the wearer to customise the layout of their pouches. Slotted into the front and side pouches were magazines of 5.56 NATO ammunition, which was uncommon but not unusual; gun collectors had been modifying AK's to accept M4 and M16 magazines for years, but the dead insurgent hadn't been arm

A Story About DecisionsIn life, we face diversity. We face it in the people we meet, the places we go, and the ways we are treated by others. And as a result of experiences in diversity, we can transform ourselves into entirely different people from who we once were.A Story About Decisions1 hour ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
If we choose to.
There are people out there that push away change; they hold it away from themselves with an eleven-foot pole. And when they do, they automatically avoid diversity. Whether or not change is good or bad is not to be decided by any one person. Avoiding change, however is always neutral because nothing changes: nothing good or bad happens.
Here is a story of diversity, wherein there are some who accept change, and others who do not. This is a story, as is every story, of the consequences of our decisions.
In the southeast corner of Alnules, there is a small village centered around a temple of the New Gods where young men are trained as priests to spread the word of the Mother, and as paladins to defend the word of the Mother. The mo

A soft knock on the door to his room brought Blayce back to his surroundings. Grabbing his dagger from its position next to his pillow in one hand and his pounding head in the other, he stood and opened the door. The hallway was narrow and dark, with barely room for two men to pass each other. Standing in the shadows cast by the stumpy candles was a disgustingly cheerful Lukin. He took in his friend's expression and a grin spread across his face.
"How are you feeling this morning?" Blayce glared mutely at him in reply and stood aside to let him in. Lukin settled himself on the room's only chair as Blayce sank back down on the bed with a relieved sigh
