(My dearest apologies to my Physics teacher)
I don't know about normal high school students, but when you're like us and trying to keep both your grades high and your rehearsals straight, the worst thing you can do is be late for your first period class, especially when that class happens to be Physics and your teacher happens to be a shrew who buries you in mountains and mountains of homework, forcing you to cancel your rehearsals and do double work in the weekend. We were officially screwed.
That is why, later that day, we were at my house, trying to solve all the exercises the teacher had so generously graced us with (yeah, I know: our fault for being late. No need to remind us!). Among formulas and principles, shouts of "Give me back my pencil!" or "Get your leg of my foot, you baka!" could be heard, making everything less boring.
When we were halfway done, it was already ten o' clock and all of us were becoming incredibly sleepy. I suggested the
Founding of the AfterlifeIn the wake of 'Nomos's grief, the world was filled with the dead and ruined, but life struggled on. Those who survived could not spend long mourning the dead, for before them lay the task of rebuilding the world. In time, new plants began to grow, new animals were born, and the earth and sea healed.Founding of the Afterlife4 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
But the scars left by the first storm could never completely heal. Periods of peace and prosperity could last for only a moment or for a thousand years, but all would inevitably be broken by searing heat, bitter cold or stormy skies, which caused any amount of damage before calming again.
Death was now a part of life, and the dead had nowhere to go. Their lost souls were doomed to wander the world, unable to find release. Unable to be seen or heard by those still living, many ghosts were overcome by grief and solitude, and simply faded away into nothingness. Others were driven insane, and became the twisted, dangerous spirits we call demons. A lucky few managed to cling to their old selves
Crazy or Insane?“Insanity, insanity it feels as if I’m falling into you.”Crazy or Insane?5 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Crazy I've been and crazy I've stayed. To be crazy is to be mentally deranged in a wild, frenzied way. Or at least that’s how it is perceived by others. I've been going crazy for a long time now, outwardly perceived normality and sanity are things I no longer remember.
For the longest time it is as if I have been in a frenzy, searching for some meaning, some scrap of more in the world. I did not wish for everything to feel so dull, to be so basic. I threw myself head first and I have searched and searched through our understandings of what makes the universe the universe and there are too many holes.
There are also too many barriers in my way. I am at a standstill. I know that in order to continue not only must I throw away my desires for more, to have it right here and right now. I must lose my craze, I must let it fall away.
To allow it to fall away is insanity. It is to fall int
Jungle Fun- Part 2 (Realistic Kaa-Style Story)"Hello." Taylor muttered, his voice still low and tired as he rubbed sleep from his eyes. "Who are you?"Jungle Fun- Part 2 (Realistic Kaa-Style Story)4 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Alice was rendered silent for a few seconds, still trying to absorb the sudden appearance of another human. "I-I'm Alice." she stammered before returning the question "Who are you?"
Taylor swung his left leg over the branch so his legs were both dangling on the same side. With the rough sound of cloth on bark, he slid off the low-hanging branch, landing gracefully on the spongy forest floor, crouched like a cat. Standing upright, his eyes traveled the length of Alice's body before settling on her startling blue eyes. "I'm Taylor" he spoke absent-mindedly, transfixed by the girl's eyes. Alice grinned, staring back into Taylor's eyes which were like two pools of dark chocolate. It did strike her that he was almost naked but something about his carefree manner coupled with the crippling heat made her feel she was the one who was improperly dressed, not vice-versa.

Your laughter bubbled out from the very bottom of your heart as you were skyrocketing heavenwards, the whole experience being so unexpected and absurd and altogether exhilarating that you just couldn't keep your happiness bottled up any longer. You had never felt so free, so alive in your whole life than now, when you felt like you could literally touch the sun with your hands, and it was in that exact moment when you understood perfectly about how Tony must feel every time he used his own suits, and the realization made a fond smile spread over your face.
”SYSTEM SCAN COMPLETED, EVERYTHING IS WORKING PERFECTLY WITH NO KNOWN MALFUNCTIONS TO BE SIGHTED.”
A.B.I.G.A.I.L. informed you after few seconds when your laughter had quieted down and now the HUD was displaying the results of the scan in numbers and short sentences.
”Right, okay, that's good, thanks.” you responded and eyed the results briefly and th

The hunt was on us and we were heading to a road block. The only way was to run through it and it was our only chance to get away from the hunters.
“I really hope we don’t run into any more trouble. I don’t think my body can take it anymore.” Yu said.
“I know how you feel. I kinda feel hungry.” Sasha said.
“Me too. I guess we didn’t really eat breakfast.” Meris said.

“What’s wrong with you three?” Yu ask.
“We didn’t get any sleep or food.” We said.
“Oh yeah, forgot you guys were keeping watch for us.” Sasha said.
“So what do we do? I’m sooo hungry.” Yu

The cob and the pony slowly navigated through the thick forestry with warm hearts and each full of spirit. With each other for company on their lonely trek, they quickly became strong friends. They talked, joked and laughed as they made the journey far and wide through the dense and vast woods.
As Misty walked alongside his companion, he became more curious about this herd that Jack apparently knew of. Without hesitation he delightfully asked him.
“What else can you tell me about the Silver Stream Herd?”
“Well, what more is there to tell you?” Jack looked up at Misty with a raised brow.
“I`d like to know about the horses there, their home and everything else there is to know!” replied Misty with much enthusiasm. His behavior had miraculously returned to being hearty, kind and friendly since encountering his scanty friend.
Jack chuckled warmly; his resonant voice comforted Misty as he began to speak the subject thence.

If you had to lose one of your powers, would it be the fire or ice manipulation? I’m not really sure. Probably the fire manipulation. I don’t like hurting people and I’m afraid I’m going to one of these days.
How did you deal with learning about your mutation? It was a lot to take in at first. It didn’t really occur with the fire and ice manipulation so I had no idea until I was told. I just kept getting hot and cold flashes.
How did people in your life react? My parents were really understanding with it. They brought me to Xavier’s school to help me and they’ll come to visit every now and then. I lost all my friends though since they didn’t want to be friends with a freak.
Did you ever get made fun of for dual color eyes? I did a bit. It was mostly kids being stupid when I was younger.
Favorite song at the moment? “It’s Time” by Imagine Dragons.

The next week when Caiti walked in for group she felt more confident in her ability to get out without help because she remembered to bring her collapsible cane. When she walked to the back of The Center where the group was meeting she was surprised to see most everyone already there. Lyd smiled and bounded to Caiti. Liam looked up from his seat, an empty one between him and Lyd. “Saving me a seat, guys?” She teased.
Lyd laughed, walking back to her seat and waiting for Caiti to sit down. She put her bag on the floor by her good leg. She winced, her leg a little sore from walking. “Are you alright?” Liam asked.
She nodded to him, “Yeah, just sore muscles.” She lied. She wasn’t ready to share with him about her left
