Blood Brothers Chap. 1 Part 3The next morning, Blayce woke with a splitting headache that had nothing to do with alcohol. He rolled over on the surprisingly comfortable straw pallet to see light seeping through the waxed paper windows, bathing the room in dull sepia tones. He yawned and stretched, wondering why on Earth his head felt like it was about to split in two.Blood Brothers Chap. 1 Part 311 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
A soft knock on the door to his room brought Blayce back to his surroundings. Grabbing his dagger from its position next to his pillow in one hand and his pounding head in the other, he stood and opened the door. The hallway was narrow and dark, with barely room for two men to pass each other. Standing in the shadows cast by the stumpy candles was a disgustingly cheerful Lukin. He took in his friend's expression and a grin spread across his face.
"How are you feeling this morning?" Blayce glared mutely at him in reply and stood aside to let him in. Lukin settled himself on the room's only chair as Blayce sank back down on the bed with a relieved sigh
Something Lost Chapter Four: Deductions (Part 1) Satoru was the first to wake up in the morning, lifting up his head and blinking wearily. He sensed Aera still in the bed above him, and saw Miyaka’s cloaked back on the opposite bunk. He gave a silent yawn as he slipped out of his bed, moving silently across the floor to the door. With a stroke of luck, he reared onto his hind legs and pawed at the door, somehow making the doorknob turn as it opened on its own. He tilted his head before glancing back at the two sleeping females before exiting, doing his best to shut the door silently behind him.Something Lost Chapter Four: Deductions (Part 1)12 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Now then… The wolf glanced around the hall and turned in the direction of the lobby. It’s about time I got some answers. Satoru took his time to admire the morning, the first few rays of sunlight peeking through the clouds and giving them a heavenly glow. Satoru turned back ahead, not particularly hungry at the moment, and nudged open the door to the lobby.
Save Point: Chapter 34 Mason glanced uncomfortably at Fara from the corner of his eye as they walked down the hall. He remembered when her head barely came up to his chest and now she was tall enough that she could kiss him without standing on her tip-toes if she wanted-Save Point: Chapter 3416 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Mason shook his head slightly. What was the matter with him? Thinking about Fara kissing him- it felt strange. He moved his eyes slightly downward. Fara had a tank-top under her short-sleeve crop-top sweatshirt and the zipper was halfway down- just enough that if he leaned over just a tiny bit, he could-
Mason bit the inside of his cheek and looked away. He was being stupid. He couldn't tell her. He couldn't tell her that he was falling for her. Especially not just after her newfound boyfriend died. Seemed like a bad move.
"So... the Spades guy went the other way, right...?" Mason asked awkwardly.
Fara kept her blue eyes on the floor, trying to think about what their next move

Chapter CCXLVII: In Which Yong’s Past is Remembered Part II
Yong’s eyes filled with tears as he continued under the clouds. He would find her, even if it took till the end of the dynasty. Slowly the fog lifted as the mountain drew closer to the ground, though not much closer as the ground was still far, far off. There was very little under the clouds, nothing of importance, no evil spirits, nothing to combat. Nothing, except a small ledge which Yong paused on to rest. And a man of fair skin and fair reddish hair who also sat on the ledge.
The man reached out his hand to shake Yong’s, but the gesture was lost in translation. The young man, when asked his name, responded with, “Wǒ xing Yong,” to which the fair man, trying to be as fair as possible, said,
“No, no, no, no, that will not do. I must have you speaking English. Is that all right?”
“No, no, don’t interrupt. I understand that there is
Clone - Who Is He? (Chapter 1)Like any other day, I woke up and walked over to my father’s laboratory that’s located in our basement. There I would have to do my tests and take my shots for the day. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. It was a routine that I followed since as long as I could remember. My father insisted that it was to keep me safe, and I believed every word of it.Clone - Who Is He? (Chapter 1)21 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
After finishing the examinations today I went to my room and continued to read my book. Father entered and had a strange look on his face, as if something was weighing on his mind.
“What is it Dad?” I questioned.
“Oh, nothing really Sweetie. I just came to tell you that I’ll be gone for a moment. I got some interesting information from headquarters. I might be gone for an hour or two. So would you like me to get you anything?” He said as he sat at my bedside.
“That’s okay, Dad. I’m fine right now.” I reassured him with a small smile.
Father got up from my bed and

Matoto showed that he was a cunning and powerful warrior, she got a new vehicle, and they had some amazing cooking with a bunch of bear thieves. Though, throughout the time they were eating, Matoto was sitting next to Doboroguma, listening to the stories about some boy he met 300 years ago.Chapter 3: The Turtle School's Secret Attack22 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Matoto was an odd character. First he was friendly and ready to share his food with her. Then, he was throwing Bind to the wolves, or in this case, the bears. Then he was beating them all up like they were nothing. Then, all his opponent had to do was mention some kid he met 300 years ago and suddenly, they were the best of friends. It was like he was obsessed or something.
What was he even doing here? If Matoto is so strong and powerful, then why is he on a mountain near a backwater town like Paozu? He should be in the army or guarding the King of Nations. He could clean up.

"Over there!" Naruto said. Everyone moved to different trees.
"What's your distance from the target?" Kakashi asked.
"Five meters." Naruto replied. "I'm ready, just give the signal."
"I'm ready too." Saske grunted into the mic.

“Speaking of, you might not want to mention that for a while. We have a guest in the house right now. Theodore’s girlfriend.”

When she woke again things were different. She could feel it in the air. During their love-making they seemed to speak to each other mentally.
She would have thought it was her crazy imagination but when she asked him things she always got a reply that made sense. When she said things his responses seemed like the other side of the thought. Of course, this too could be her imagination…but for the look in his eyes. It made their first time together so much easier and less awkward.
Lukas yawned and rolled over to find her. “There’s my girl.” He said sweetly.
“I’m far from being a girl.” She said, stretching out and caressing his neck in her hands.
“Nonsense.” He quipped and gave her a long kiss.
“Lukas, did you notice something different last night?”
“Of course I did. You were there too, right?” he said… and then smiled devilishly.
UntitledFrom the dreamy darkness, I was awoken into a different darkness to the feeling of a cold O on the side of my face. I blinked at what was above me and breathed gently, my chest rising and falling. I did not move. I knew what was pressed to my head. I knew the feeling too well. "You're awake," a smile was heard from a familiar voice. I almost jumped at the recognition in my own thoughts of who the killer was. But it couldn't be, could it?
"Get up," he pulled me by my collar so that I was sitting up. I sat in sleepy confusion. "I said, GET UP!" His voice boomed through the small room, bouncing off walls and reverberating through my mind in shock. His grip tightened on me as he clenched his cold fingers around my neck and dragged me like a doll. He slammed my skull up against the wall behind between the two beds. My lungs searched for air as I exhaled in pain, hearing the sound of my body crashing against the

The light of a torch lit the walls of a dark cave as its holder peered through the entrance. It gently tapped on the stone wall, the sound echoing into the shadows. A pink figure sat up in the back of the cavern and studied the one at the mouth of the cavern.
“Why are you here?” it said. The puff holding the torch made a gesture with its hand, and several more puffs joined it. The pink puff’s eyes widened. “Why are you all here?”
“We want to help you with your plan.” said the first puff in a smooth voice, making the pink puff raise an eyebrow.
“And I’m supposed to trust you?” it inquired.
The puff with the torch glanced at the others around it. “You can send us all back to the camp immediately if we betray you.”
The pink one considered for a moment. “Alright. Fine.” It accepted. “Here’s my plan. I want to gather and train at least ten young puffs to fight alongside me at the final b

Matthew stood half-behind the doorframe looking younger than he actually was.
Alfred was currently in the other room on the couch, his leg propped up on pillows as his thumb mashed the television remote. Matthew knew that (one) he would have no say in what they ended up watching anyway and (two) that Alfred's quest to find himself an entertaining show that would satisfy those with a short attention span like his own would keep him occupied for the good part of five minutes. So, Matthew decided he would take the opportunity to see what was keeping their host. After all, he felt awkward for sitting on someone else's couch, and its owner not be present as well.
He found Francis washing out the cloths that had been used to wipe and treat Alfred's wounds. The various products like hydrogen peroxide and such were still covering the kitchen counter. Francis looked up curiously

Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You
Before beginning this new story, I feel it prudent to explain a few things about it. First, I wrote the original version of this story during my college days, just for my own personal laughs. For publishing online, it will first go through several extensive rewrites and revisions so that it will truly be as the tagline says, the ultimate fanfiction crossover. At least, that’s how I hope it turns out. And these revisions may take a considerable amount of time, so I can’t guarantee that chapters will be posted on a regular basis.
Normally, I wait until one of my stories is complete before I start publishing installments of it – frankly, it bugs me whenever someone else starts publishing a story I start reading online or in comics, and abandons it halfway through for whatever reason, and I don’t want to subject other people to that. In this one instanc
The Chronicle of Asya Part 1 Asya’s small face fit into the window, joy spread out on her pale cheeks at the sight of the snow falling softly from the darkened sky, illuminated by the street light down on the corner. The roads were empty below, and slush caked the black asphalt. Mama and Papa were in the other room, arguing. The thin walls of the apartment did little against the heated words. Asya closed her mind from her ears, she didn’t want to hear them on such a beautiful night. Couldn’t they put away the usual argument for five minutes? Just to see the snow? She peered over her shoulder at the open door, seeing her parents argue together in the kitchen. She sighed and stared out the frosted and fogged window, finding the moon. “This is no place for her!” it was Papa’s voice, shaky in frustration and anger. “What if something happens to her?” The same old argument. There was never any further explanation, a secret hidden from her, about her. Always vThe Chronicle of Asya Part 14 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Drew stumbled into his apartment room clutching his chest. He could barely see straight with the pain that was radiating from the phoenix tattoo there. He couldn’t believe how fast the tattoo was spreading right after he got his powers. It took much convincing to get Dyani and Larraine off his back about what was bothering him. Drew didn’t want them to worry about him as they had plenty to worry about already.
In his bedroom, he took off his shirt and tie to examine the tattoo in his full-length mirror. It was glowing lava red against the sky blue air tendrils that were extending outwards from the phoenix’s feathers and curling around his back. They seemed to be warring with each other for dominance over which would be protecting him. Currently, it was backfiring since he was feeling extreme pain instead of protection. It was becoming increasingly difficult to keep his tattoo a secret from his friends.
