It was a normal day at my house in Vine Grove, Kentucky and Christmas was drawing closer and it was so cold in my room that I could've breathed ice, for which my room is in the basement. My dad came down here and opened a window to let the cold air in. "Dad!! Can you please try to keep the heat in? I'm freezing!!" I said, shivering. "What are you talking about? It's too hot down here!" said my dad a bit unhappy by my tone. "I wish I was in Spyro's world instead of this lame planet." I said under my breath. So I went to my desk and drew myself as a dragon on what I wanted to look like if I was in his world.
In Spyro's world

Terrador enter the courtyard and saw Ignitus looking over down beneath the temple and walked over to him. "You ok Ignitus?" asked Terrador, Ignitus turned his head around. "Spyr

Summer, Year 757 of the New Age,
Windborne, the land bridge leading to the Cape
Summer was often the hardest month for Tzilan. The wind was quieter, the herd was happily grazing; the golden stag was unnecessary in the warmer months. He drifted about the Cape, pulling the wind to him when he could, giving what guidance and counsel was needed to the herd when the asked for it but there was so little for him. Autumn and Winter with the clash of antlers in rut and the screech of a storm in the sky were his time of year.
He found himself drifting to the cliffs and the sea more and more often in the summertime. Though the herd might not need him, the wind could always be found frolicking in the surf and racing through the tough sand-grass; it was too giddy and excitable to be commanded to provide guidance but it was reassuring to hear its voice chattering with glee.
The lean stag was settled on the sand, his eyes closed as he let the wind play havoc with his s

“Lord, Gertrude, don’t you have anything better to do than come in to work so early?” Lucy complained.
Gertrude eyed her coolly. “I think you left something here last night, Lucy.”
A hot flush crept up Lucy’s neck as she looked over to her desk and spotted the mug. Gertrude hated to see things left about, she knew that—why hadn’t she at least put it in the sink?
“I’m so sorry,” Lucy said, hurrying over to scoop the mug up before even taking off her jacket. “I don’t know what I was thinking, honestly. I mean, I mustn’t have been…” She felt Gertrude’s cold gaze on her back as she took the mug over to the sink to dump the long-cold tea out. The sound of its splatter in th

“Seedpelt. Seedwhisker. Seednose. Seedfur. Seedfoot?” Lilypaw suggested a list of names as they sat eating their evening meal in the camp.
Seedpaw shrugged. “Who knows? Maybe they’ll change my name entirely, to Bumblestripe-Defeater, because I totally kicked his tail!” She cuffed her sister fondly over the ear. “You still haven’t told me where you found Millie, Millie-Seeker.”
“Well, kittypets like Twoleg dens. She was hiding in a hole in the roof. She put up quite a fight – for a kittypet,” she sniffed.
“Speaking of,” Seedpaw warned, “Bumblestripe overheard what you were saying, so Millie probably did, too. No need to be so vocal about Millie being a kittypet. Mom taught us to not judge cats based on their heritage.”
Lilypaw muttered, “Like I care about where cats come from. I don’t judge Millie because she’s a kittypet, but becaus
My Dragon TF I was freezing as always in my bedroom in the basement. I was shivering that my brain would've told my body that this body can't take it anymore. "Why can't I turn the heat up? Well my parents are cheapskates." I said stuttering because of the cold. I took a deep breath and I had snow came out of my mouth. "I wish I was something brighter and then BOOM! if disappeared. Horns started to sprout from my head, and wings bursted from my back. "Thank God that my family isn't h

I stepped out of the polished white room that was my own, letting my hand push open the wooden door with carvings of mocking jays flying around with red spider lilies on the edges. I have always been fond of these flowers even up till today. Just the name alone has always given me an odd sense of security even when Father or anyone else couldn’t anymore. I smiled fondly at the memories spent sitting and staring at the door as I walked into the long hallway. Father was in the room a few door down probably bragging about something useless and drinking again. I swear he really ought to watch over himself. If this keeps up his subjects will find out and they will be enraged.
I was passing by one of the tall and wide windows when the glass suddenly started to shatter and a black figure came rushing towards me. The figure easily got behind me and wrapped one of their arms

Stolen Blood PrologueA clean, crisp breeze blew across the grasslands of Baraxia, taking with it a small collection of leaves from the assorted plants that dotted the land. Beneath a large tree, a young woman sat, smiling in the beautiful weather and idly wagging her tail. Her tail was matched by her wolf ears, and her deep blue eyes. As the breeze blew past her, it deposited a single rose petal in her hand. As she looked at it fondly, it slowly withered and turned grey, it's life draining away like water. She frowned slightly, and looked up to see the young man walking across the plain towards her. He was clad in a black trench coat, with several belts, and heavy dark boots. He stood out blatantly in the colourful surroundings, particularly against her colourful and more classical dress. She twitched an ear as he approached her. As he walked, the grass before him wilted and shrank, becoming a stark remnant of its former self. His silver hair rustled slightly in the breeze, revealing the pale skin that covStolen Blood Prologue8 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Ann Marie woke to the smell of frying eggs. "I'm glad mom remembered to cook up some breakfast before she goes to work..." Ann Marie thought. She smiled to herself.
"I hope you like eggs!" Ann Marie shot up in bed. That was definitely NOT her mother's voice. Then it all came rushing back to her, she was stuck in a one-roomed bomb shelter that was probably miles underground. But of course that did NOT explain why there was someone else with her. She slowly scanned the room from where she sat atop the bunk bed. A young woman, maybe in her early twenties or so looked up at Ann Marie from her position in front of the stove.
"So," she continued talking despite the fact that Ann Marie had absolutely no idea who she was or how she got there. "did you sleep well? You certainly slept in pretty late." She motioned her hand towards the clock before she quickly put it back on the handle of the pan of eggs. Ann Marie glanced over to see it was 10:37. Ann Marie just stared at her with comp

Another late night driving the streets of Edmonton had come to an end, and Frank Duplantier decided he was in desperate need of a burger and a beer. The place down on Stony Plain Road, run by Lebanese and situated between a rub and tug and a liquor store--the sort where the clerk served the booze through a slot in the wall as per request--was still open, so he pulled up in its bite-sized parking lot. Not a terribly big man, Frank was still mean looking enough to make a young drunk couple smoking pot by the dumpster shy away when he stepped out.
Frank walked into the place and waited for the attendant to get out of the bathroom. This place had been around for a good twenty years, and the yellow tiles looked as though they'd only been mopped once or twice in that entire period. On the white walls were cracks, holes, stains, and sticky patches encrusted with fly corpses, while overhead every fluorescent light hummed and flickered as though they were unsure whether they s

A Harsh, icy wind blew across the mountain coastline, buffeting the towns with large swells arising from the rough sea. Yet the town guards stood firm like statues, watching out from the town boarders for any foreign beings that may try to enter. It had been two months since the disappearance of Darius Crawford, as well as the tragedy of the first werewolf attack that had claimed three lives within the span of thirty minutes of one another.
Since then, all local authorities from his home town of Foraden had been on high alert. Despite the attacks only happening on nights of the full moon, nobody was taking any chances. Not even farmers and tradesmen were permitted to leave the town without armed escorts. Allowing that one rebellious wizard to ascend the mountain had been a costly mistake, one that the town mayor had sworn not to repeat again. The Wizards’ guild had especially been hit hard, not only from the loss of one of their own, but a great loss of trust from t

You wake up to the sound of loud snoring. Like, really loud. You turn over with a groan and try to go back to sleep. After listening for a while you finally open your eyes with a sigh. It was worth a try. You're confused by what you see:
You are lying on a soft bed, swathed in multicolored woolen blankets. Across from you is another bed with a guy in it. Snoring loudly. You roll your eyes. All you can see of him is a tan face and messy brown hair. In the other corner was an empty bed with a chest and nightstand on either side of it. In fact, every bed had a chest and nightstand. There were two beds in between on the far wall, and three beds against your wall. The walls were wooden, as was the floor, and there were no windows.
You almost immediately notice a chair pulled up next to your b

What she could have done to possibly change him from being a comrade, a companion, a close friend and partner in crime, to someone who ducked away every time she tried to meet his sincere cerulean eyes. She sighed standing up from her place on the grass, with the newly drafted plan in her hand, written by him. She could smell his scent upon it and she smiled feeling his touch upon her hand as if she was gripping it as she gripped the parchment tightly.
