Veering right to avoid yet another explosion, Solar Eclipse hit the gas, peeling forwards. A little bit in front and beside her was Moonrider.
The two femmes had been calmly minding their own business when the humans from cemetery Wind came. Despite the two femmes having done nothing, the humans immediately fired upon them.
No questions asked, no nothing. They just attacked. So the femmes were left with little choice but to run.
Solar veered left, closing the distance between her and Moonrider. She stayed close behind her, knowing that if worst came to worst, they would be stronger together.

How did she do it? I wondered. How was she always perfect?
I slammed the piano keys…a childish thing, I know. Looking out my living room window, I saw the driveway across from mine. My neighbor was there, as she was every afternoon, checking the mailbox.
Luella and I were not friends. I guess I had always kept away. Yet still, I watched her from a distance. I saw her out and about in our suburb, and every time I did, bitter thoughts grew about how I wished Karen was Luella, and Luella was Karen.
Luella was everything I wasn’t. She looked content and talented, and the way she walked and talked seemed flawless. Whenever she tossed her dark hair, I would finger my own mop, and whenever she danced down her driveway to peek in the mailbox, I would seethe at my own awkward ways. Worst of all, she was always smiling…smiling like she had some wonderful secret hid
The Jewelled Caves - SequelTrigger stared at the lifeless body, mortified. He was too late. The great black dragon eyed him, snorted, then turned back to his molten pool. The Jewelled Caves - Sequel22 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This
"I had to do that at least once," he said to Trigger, a cold gleam in his blue eyes as he slid back into the magma, leaving Trigger alone in the silence.
Aura was alerted by the sound of sobbing as he walked near the mouth of the jewelled cave. Curious, he went down to investigate, iridescent white feathers gleaming blue in the faint light.
Inside the cave he found another dragon, silver with three horns either side of his head and a pearly white 'blaze' on his face, framed with a fringe of light brown hair from his mane. He was the one crying, crystalline tears falling on a furry black and purple mound by his feet.
The dragon looked up when Aura came near and defensively tried to scoop the bundle into his forearms, despite the fact it was nearly as big as he was.
"Are you ok?" Aura asked, concerned.
"No," the dragon sobbed, "she's dead,

The journey to Heathrow was far from comfortable.
There was three seats in our row, which had been booked for the three of us. For a group of international organisations, you would think they’d be able to afford a little more than economy class. I sat on the outer seat of the row, Mason beside me and Maddy by the window. The three of us were too psyched. London! One of the coolest cities in the world
We had only found out we were going to London this morning at the airport, when a hungover Mr. Kahn in dark sunglasses handed us our tickets, before ambling off down the check-in area. I suppose they were up in Business Class, enjoying quiet and champagne.
Meanwhile, I had a five year old tyrant kicking the back on my seat.
Maddy put on her headphones and an eye-mask and went to sleep for most of the trip. Luckily, she didn't snore, or I would've bribed the kid behind me to kick her chair.
Mason and I just chatted the whole ten hour flight. It was nice getting to know him. He was rea

I opened my eyes. A girl much older than me was trying to nudge me off, but she wasn't strong enough. "Sorry.. I thought no one was usng this bed because it was so empty..."
she was a little apologetic. "sorry. I like to sleep on a clean surface. I piled all my stuff on the other beds."
"Yah, I've been alone in this room for a while, so to celebrate, I'm going to clean off your bed. so... Choose one."
I examined each bed carefully. The one i thought looked the nicest was the once I chose. The girl just grabbed all the stuff, and piled it on another bed.
"Well..." I said. "what's your name?"
"Adalheid, but just call me Alke."
when I saw all the stuff that Alke had, it made me think of all my possessions, and the gift that Prior had given me for my birthday. I still hadn't opened it. I thought of christelle, who didn't have much courage to make friends...
and i thought of my sister, who would be sad...
What could I do?

I think Mr. Fiddlesticks has eyes on the back of his head. He watches Joe and Tyrone at the same time. Mommy says Tyrone is “spacey,” so he was keeping an eye on him. But, he also saw that Joe was bouncing on the bus. He still looked at Tyrone, but said,
Trip + Flonne part 1: Damsel in DistressTrip Ceratops was on vacation with his sister, Tyra Rex, and decided to take a shortcut to a Fern Patch on Paleo Island, their vacation spot. Trip brushed away foliage only to find not ferns, but a big stone structure blocking the path on the map. "This isn't on the map, peculiar!" Trip approached the rocky wall and put his ear to it, "Hollow, I can hear wind on the other side!" Quickly, his advanced Dinosaur brain came up with a plan, the only thing that would break down a stone wall like this, "Time to use my head!" Getting a head start, Trip ran towards the stone wal at ludicrous speed, using the speed gained to bash his head on the wall with enough force to crumble a brick house, crumbling the wall and revealing a pitch black cave with no source of light. "I knew it, a cave hidden behind a rock wall, piece of pie! Now, let's see where this goes." Trip, curious about a hidden passageway, failed to notice a caution sign at the side of the cavern, which read "Danger, world of DisgaeaTrip + Flonne part 1: Damsel in Distress11 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This

Moses jumped onto me and scared the life out of me! 72 pounds of crushing force landing on me while I sleep. I guess he’s the leader in this operation because, after he jumped, the rest of the pets did, and I was swamped with dogs and cats. I looked out the window and didn’t see anything alarming. The only weird thing was that the bush right below my window was rustling, but I figure it was the wind or a rabbit or something. I forgot to check it out so I’ll do it when I get home from school tomorrow.

"Where to?" She questioned, running a hand through her hair, to push it from her face.
Ciaran didn't answer her. He broke into a half-run. Sadie grinned and followed, her unzipped hoodie flapping behind her.
Ciaran's pace was swift; he soon gained speed and ran through the streets, shoes meeting the grey tarmac, beating out a rhythm. Sadie found it hard to keep up with the boy, and he almost vanished in the mist. They weaved through side-roads, past terraced houses and barking dogs.
Finally they reached a dead end, blocked by a wall. Sadie bent over, catching her breath. She saw it rise like a cloud into the damp air.
Ciaran had other ideas- he climbed up the face of the wall, standing on it for a moment, on all

In the summer, the sun would shine as bright as it could on down as I played on every ground I found.
