The sun was setting when the ceremony of victorious soldiers had already marched through the whole city and returned to the Esteralldo castle. Just half an hour after its end, Principe Seferino entered the Throne Hall. Just like Celeste’s, it was giant, but vines covering walls and room made it look astonishingly beautiful. In there, there was only Leal, sitting on the king’s throne, relaxed.
“Greetings, sister.” The prince smiled to her as bowing slightly.
“You didn’t hurry at all, did you? I have a mission for you, brother.”
“About Hechizo, I suppose?” Seferino guessed and the queen grinned.
“And who else could I possibly mean? I need to solve a problem of half of Esteralldo’s army hiding somewhere in nearby forests, especially when it’s my army. Yet.”
“You don’t mean to fight them, do you?” The prince asked.
“Of course not! I don
UnexpectedA successful business man straight out of the machine is about to join his friends at the local pub. A place where they have been meeting every Friday, of every week for the past ten years. He swings the door open, nods at the bartender, stops the bud light from sliding by and sits at the corner table. Their table. Except he's the only one there. He chugs his beer and looks at his watch. He was a little late, but not late enough for everyone to leave. Confused he is. He wants to refresh his mind with another brew. He gets ready to wave at the bartender. When he looks up he see's her walking away with his empty glass on one side and middle finger raised in his direction on the other. He turns back around to a frosty full beer on the table. She's good. Did they call it off this week? No, he didn't think so. He would have made a reminder and wouldn't have cancelled on what's her face...He recalled her saying something about morals. No... "Oh yes, now I recall, she said that she had no morUnexpected5 minutes ago in Short Stories More Like This
V is for ViolinsWhen the world tore itself to pieces and the powerlines hung like gallows, when the buildings began to crumble and the crops failed a few too many times, the only sound left was the echoes of Beethoven from the abandoned motel out of town. In the decades, centuries, the aftermath, people’s tongues had dried up, become dormant and heavy within their jaws. There was no need for words, pockets of life were far-flung, were unkind to strangers. If they wanted something, a crude form of sign language and clicks were normally sufficient and, in a dying world, frivolous chatter was lost to the winds, a thing of the past.V is for Violins6 minutes ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Relics were left in place, toppled billboards advertising televisions, wood rotting, acted as shelters to hang cloth over as a makeshift tent when travelling; cars lay hunkered down in the dry wind, tires shredded and seats ripped apart. In some houses, where the initial survivors had not raided, where the bands of rogues had not reached, photo frames still clutched tatt

“So I heard that the new transfer students are really hot!”
“Tch, I know right. I saw this one guy. He has short black hair and a beautiful white smile. Ugh, I can’t hold myself.”
“Do you think that they’ll notice us?”
“Notice us, this isn’t Hyouka.”
“Can you guys just hurry into the auditorium, I wanna see the hot guys!” A group of third year and fourth year girls stormed into the facility like mad women catching a holiday clothing sale. Mami Futabatei, who was a freshman, was walking with her class and a couple of second years into the large area. She moaned, “These girls all want a dick to sit on but don’t even know what the square root of 69 is.” Her friends laughed with her and then a pop on the back of the head was laid on Mami’s head. She winced, “Tetetet

[RK] Minimal SpeechIt was a strange sort of arrangement. Maybe it was simply because they didn't bother trying to pry into each other's business, never found the need to converse properly. Regardless, Wilhelm couldn't say he found himself adverse to the silence that stretched over the small table he and Nikola usually occupied in the mess hall. It was nice. There was the occasional small talk, but it usually died quickly enough, leaving behind a strange silence that was not fully companionable, but wasn't exactly uncomfortable.[RK] Minimal Speech19 minutes ago in Short Stories More Like This
Scyther and Absol looked up in surprise at the sudden outburst, directing their gaze towards the gray haired Eevee staring back at them with a faint tinge of annoyance.
"You guys are too damn quiet!"
Wilhelm and Nikola shared a glance.
"And?" Wilhelm asked.
Zacharius pointed at them. "Say something! Arceus! It's like I'm watching a wall!"
"I wasn't aware we were supposed to be conversing for your entertainment," Nikola commented.
Wilhelm cocked his head to the side a little

Minor Planet: Part 2bThe captain opened a door, and led the two astounded boys into a whitewashed room. Inside the room, the heat was up – literally! The warm air created a sudden feeling of tiredness in the two children, and they kept themselves fighting to stay awake. The Captain turned to the boys, “I’m sorry I must go now, but that girl there, Yuki, has been working on this ship, and she is out personal childcare professional, mainly because she is one herself,” the captain said. The two boys looked at him inquisitively, and he smiled at them, baring his yellowing, disproportioned teeth. “Well, she’s only thirteen, her Mother and Father are dead, and she wanted a job to keep her family alive. When she learnt the whole family but she had perished, she decided to work full time on this ship,” the captain explained. The two boys smiled and thanked the captain and walked in. Minor Planet: Part 2aKlaus waited at the door for Bayles to finish putting his shoes and socks on. “Hurry up Bayles! We don’t have all day,” said Klaus chuckling. The bright and cheerful ten years old waited impatiently for his friend. He didn’t see what the point was in putting on shoes and socks – he was going barefoot. The two boys were going to the hill to enjoy a little picnic together. Bayles smiled as he saw his friend, waiting for him barefoot. “Not wearing your new shoes today, Klaus,” asked Bayles. Klaus shifted guiltily from foot to foot, “Well, I will, but I felt sore after wearing them yesterday, so I’ll just be wearing them for a few hours at a time until I can get used to them,” said Klaus, looking at his bare tops. Bayles chuckled and patted Klaus on the back. “If there’s anyone who should be barefoot right now, it’s me,” said Bayles. Enslaved by its trainer
Losing battle after battle
Sometimes, I have the feeling that my trainer doesn’t like me very much. I’ve been sitting in the box for a while, ever since the trainer captured me. Sure, it’s fun, and I’ve made a lot of friends, but it’s not as great as being outside, being free. The other Pokémon have stories about the times they get to leave the box to train, but I rarely ever get to. And when I do, I’m never let out of the Pokéball. Only if a rock needs to be crushed or a tree needs to be cut down.
So when the trainer took me out to train, I was naturally excited. I still am. We’re going right down to the lake where Ma lives. I miss my ma. She’s probably still waiting for me at the lake. Golly, I wish that I can return to her.
“Listen up, Bidoof,” he says, looming over me. “That kid Will told me that I had to treat you better or he’d have
AICC-3 Why do People Fear the Unknown?Robert awoke to the sounds of knocking on the door to his room. He stayed up all night working on his PDA and barely finished only a few hours beforehand. It wasn't a problem as school wasn't supposed to start for another week, and so everyone had free time to do as they pleased. He wearily rose and slid the door open. Outside stood Takeo in full school uniform.AICC-3 Why do People Fear the Unknown?36 minutes ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

"You just got up?" Takeo asked surprised. "It's three in the afternoon! What were you doing last night?"
"I was umm..." Robert looked back on the table where the PDA sat, waiting for activation. He didn't want to reveal his work just quite yet as there was still so much to do. "I was working on a personal project."
"Oh, so you are one of those kind of students. Don't worry, there are plenty like you at this school, just make certain you go to bed on time when school starts."
"Yeah yeah yeah, now I'll ask again. Is there something you need?"

Chapter 9: A Stone and a Lizard
It was an unusually cool day for the beginning of the school year. But it was sunny. Fang and Doom were sitting in the sandbox playing an interesting game that Doom had come up with. The girls were making a hospital for wild onions. They would pick the onions, name them, and act like they were ill. Then, together, they would make beds for them out of sand and pretend to give them medicine.
“Get the damp sand from underneath,” Doom said. “It helps keep their fevers down.” Doom was using a beanbag lizard as the doctor and Fang was pretending to be her mom, Nurse Jenkins. Fang loved finally having a creative friend!
As Doom helped Fang dig in the sand, she came upon a smooth yellow stone that had been buried deep in the sand box. “Look!” she exclaimed. “It’s so pretty!” As soon as she held it up for Fang to see, Mrs. Baker was upon her yanking the stone from her hand.

Chapter 8: Dammit Wizard
In those days, Loki had a little dog bed that Fang’s grandmother had made for him. The bed was made out of a box that had been decorated with blue wallpaper. The top was lined with white lace. For some reason, Loki didn’t feel very tough sleeping in that bed. But he did love the fact that it was placed right beside the family’s old wood burning stove. When Loki was Silverwing VonDrake, a duck from Puckworld, he loved the cold. But as a Chihuahua, he couldn’t sleep unless he was warm.
Luckily, that day, Loki was very warm. He was enjoying the deepest of sleep when he had a strange dream.
A wizard came to him. A gray, woodland wizard in furs. He carried a staph with a glowing gem on the end of it.
“It is time,” said Aldo. “Now that the third Chosen one has been found, it will be up to you to guide them. You will need to remember what you learned at the intelligence academy. I release the hold on your

The mirror was in the "secret" room I wasn't allowed to go in. It wasn't well guarded and it was right next to my room in the tree next to it. What a shame for my parents. I would always sneak in there. I stopped going after a while just because of the pure fact the mirror was right there, standing post at the door.
One night, I decided to go in the room and pick a fight with mirror for making me look like a useless nobody who could only stand there and look scary. The only thing is is, when I walked into the room my parents were lying on the floor.
The faces still had the look of fear frozen on their faces and their blood was spilled ever

Drab precepts resonate in morbid disgust at the shape of a man's filthy smile.
Broken glass. A gleaning, bloody mess.
These trials – miles and miles – like filthy smiles.

A woman, discordant, overhears her husband speaking in slim faculty – a thinning devotion.
It's her, she thinks:
“I must be getting fat;”
A winning determination. But she doesn't think twice, and instead turns it around on him. “Honey, you need to shave your beard!” The perception of the man's two part stance on beauty –- One for the burly, one for the girly -- has been questioned. He's irate. “What do you mean, shave my beard!?” The cavalier dogshit likeness of the man's cleverly crafted grin overtakes the woman in the midst of her sermon. And why should he car

"When you are different, its just means that you are special. It means that you are unique and everyone should respect that," my grandmother used to tell me.
If that was only true. If only everyone would respect that.
Sure I had a bad life but doesn't every life has its ups and downs... Its just mine has more than others.
Sure my family was poor and we had barely enough money to make it through the days. Yes my dad is rumored to be part of a gang and is the reason my mom was killed. Sure my grandparents died in a car crash. Sure I get beat up by my dad.
So maybe I dressed in hoodies and jeans instead of pretty dresses and skirts. Yeah maybe just because I liked sports while other girls would spend their days talking about boys and go
