A narrative through the eyes of Shadow the Hedgehog
Amy got off and helped me back up.
"Oh Shadow! You're wearing your new clothes!" Amy smiled as she looked at me.
"Oh wow, didn't even realize that... You look pretty sexy in that Shadow" Blaze said with a smirk.
Marine and Cream blushed at me as they also saw how I looked.
I blushed a bit too and said, "Um.... Thanks? I just thought it would be nice to wear it since you spent so much time picking them out for me.... How is it?"
"You look absolutely wonderful Shadow.... Not to say that you looked like crap before... You still looked great.... But honestly... This is a definite improvement on something that was already incredible...." Amy said as she hugged me....
Something that was already incredible..... My.... Heart..... Skipped a beat when she said that....
"You... Think I'm incredible?" I said as I blushed a bit.
Seeking PurityAs I write this, she’s out there somewhere stalking her prey. It’s been years since then, but I can still see it when I close my eyes. I was just a kid, not quite eleven, and I had already gone to bed when it started. I woke up when I heard my door open, but that didn’t last long. I had just enough time to open my eyes and sit up before I realized the shadowy figure in the doorway wasn’t my mom or dad. Before I could shout for them, I felt a prick and everything went black.
I regained consciousness after what seemed like an eternity; the first thing I saw was my house, wreathed in smoke. Flames were already licking up the sides of the building, and I thought I could hear screams. It took me a moment to realize that I was being carried away from the blaze.
I began to squ

London Rain Blood dripped from a slash above her left eye, red blinding her vision and staining the ground and she trudged with difficulty along the empty London street. The black midnight mercilessly poured rain with a force like millions of minuscule knives stabbing the unfortunate traveller. She turned her face to the sky, allowing the rain to wash blood from her face. Yet this same cleansing rain also hid the traveller's tears of heartbreak and failure; even the pain from the gash over her eye and the throbbing of her right hand was nonexistent in comparison.London Rain3 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This
There was not a single being within a mile's radius of that London street, dimly lit by an old streetlamp and occupied by the pitiful traveller. However, even if the roadway had been crowded by cheery clusters of chattering citizens, the traveller would feel no less alone. This was her natural state- unnoticed, unwanted, unwelcome. Perhaps she had been a more popular being in her past, but that was merely ancient history to he

Wolf-Chalk said the following:
The scrappy-looking wolf cub rolled himself off the crate [if not a touch dramatically]. Landing in the snow, he shook his thick coat out and headed out of the alley. Blue eyes unblinking, Troy looked around the sleepy town of Nome. No one was out and Troy empathized the sleeping part with a scoff.
Suddenly hearing the sounds of paw prints as he wandered, Troy stuck his head out to see a pretty wolfish dog wandering about. He could smell it was female, something Troy noted intensely within the confinds of his sly mind. He knew girls were more easier to trick as most of them had a big soft spot for cute little pups.
Cute little cubs like yours truly, Troy thought, rubbing his paws together almost. [Of course, he could not since he wasn't some slimy human! Poo!]
Sucking his gut in as much as he could, Troy stumbled out of his hiding place. "Oh! H-hi!"

Antonio turned around just in time to see a bright light about to shoot in his direction. He ducked down just as the beam discharged. Others behind him had not been so fortunate. “This is it,” he thought, “This is how I will die.” Antonio started praying. Praying to the God-Emperor to protect him and save him. He knew it would be useless; he wasn’t one of the religious guardsmen. Then the voice of his officer cut through the air.
“Stand and shoot! We must illuminate this xenos creation!” Officer Gravis yelled. Gravis picked up his lasgun and started shooting.
Antonio was scared of the xenos tank. Yet, he was more afraid of his Officer. Gravis was merciless in his punishments and any fleeing would be executed. For this reason, Antonio picked up his own lasgun and added to the firepower of the others around him. That was when he got a good look at the thing that had attacked their rear.

Y volvió a mirar
“Pobre señora, es una madre soltera apuesto a que el padre ni sabe que tiene un hijo”.
“Carajo, que hermosa chica, pero nunca se me acercaría ya que

To hear a thunder clap and winds ride,
I lay awake while storms rage on tonight,
It's just me alone, to shiver in fright.
My knees knock as I shake,
My teeth clattering with any move I make,
I suffer in the cold, my eyes no warmer,
As I remember sweet memories former.
My friends were always smiling and having fun,you see,
Even I could smile then, it was so great to me.
Finally I feel a touch of a hand upon my frozen cheek,
My fright already high in peak,
Until I stare into the hawk's now soft onyx eyes,
My own tearing up, from the memories of old lies.
He sat by me and said he always loved me,
After all these years he was just blind, you see.
He smiled and brought me into a warm kiss.
Because I am his wolf, and we shall love each other forever, in this bliss.

“I wandered the area for a while, running as far away from the town as I could. I got exhausted and decided to stay here, but then I realised bandits camped here.”
Klaus continued to listen with a passive look. Sydney didn’t quite understand how he worked yet, for all she knew he could be wait to strike at the right moment.
“It was too late, they surrounded me. I thought I was doomed, that I had failed. Then you came and saved me.”
Klaus stayed in silence.

An Absense of Light - OneI always liked books far more than I liked people. That’s not to say I don’t like people, of course - people are fine. In fact, they can be downright fantastic at times. But that’s kind of their downfall, too. Good things are great while they are happening, but too soon are they taken away and replaced with an emptiness that is far too complicated to understand, never mind fix. That’s what I was afraid of when it came to people, I suppose. Their irreversible and imminent departure. An Absense of Light - One7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Books were great in this regard. You can read a book, get to know a character and even fall in love with them and there is no extreme connection. Nothing is binding your soul to a book character. You can put a book down and never read it again if you want. There is no heartache - or in cases of a wonderful book, the heartache is minor and will subside as soon as you begin another book. That’s why I loved books more. They’re much less difficult.

Pauley couldn't decide if she should feel 'cranky' today because she burnt her coffee, or if she should choose the 'stressed out' option instead. She was always more productive when she was stressed out, even if it was an exhausting choice by the end of the day. But what better mood for a Monday.
Pauley got up from her morning seat and left behind her disappointing coffee to go set the Mood Maker 3000. She typed her selection onto the screen and toggled the knob on the side to slightly increase the setting. Just slightly, though, because high-strung only suited her to a point. Too far to the right and she would be impossible to deal with all day, and she had far too many meetings today to allow that to happen.

Cow Murderers [Matches, Waldor, Aysel, Valdoma]It was early in the day and the calm Aysel was talking a slow walk through the land she had found herself in through the guidance of the moon. Powers felt different here though she was sure it was just a phase of transferring over to this realm. Her pale silvery skin glittered just barely with the fading moonlight being replaced by the dawn, and she could feel herself being washed in warmth. Her journey had not taken long to bring her to a field of cows and her eyes gazed amused at the lot of them for long moments. How cute, all the cows around. They were uncommon in her homeland though not unheard of and she'd never had much of an opportunity to look them over the few times she did see them, let alone get much farm work done in general, as it wasn't her class. She was much more used to goats, and heard their milk tended to be sweeter, though who knew if that were really true or not.
