The young filly slowly made her way down the stairs and was cowering with every step. She had never seen her sister this angry before, and she was terrified.
"What were you thinking? Ya ruined mah dress. Rarity's gonna kill me." Applejack turned her gaze to her baby sister and was stunned to see the filly cowering at the foot of the stairs crying. She suddenly felt disgusted with herself, "Applebloom. C'mere."
The filly just stood there shaking like a leaf, "I'm sorry sis." She could not bring herself to get close to her sister.
"Ah'm sorry, sugarcube. I shouldn' have yelled at ya like that." Applejack walked to her sister and gently hugged the filly.
Applebloom continued to cry, "Scootaloo wanted to practice on a dress, an' ah thought ya wouldn't care if we used it." She looked up to her sister, "Ah'm really sorry. Ah'll take it to Rarity and tell her what happened."

Twilight Sparkle was up late studying, again. After Winter Wrap Up had wrapped up, there was more time for everything. A pony could only prepare so much for the oncoming season, and much of the work had started to fall to the weather team. It seemed like everypony was spending most of their time just enjoying being able to leave their homes freely. Since the school was covering her room and board, there wasn't much for her to do but help out when someone asked. Not that she ever complained about a chance to read.
A knock came from the library door. Twilight blinked and floated her quill back to the desk before turning and glancing out the window to see Applejack peering right back.
Applejack Character ReviewIt comes as something of a surprise that Applejack represents the spirit of Honesty within "Friendship is Magic". Although one would scarcely dare to call Applejack a liar, Honesty is perhaps not her greatest virtue. Nevertheless, Applejack has so many positive attributes honesty included that her representation in the Pilot as this particular embodiment of the Elements of Harmony makes sense, even if it seems a little odd at first. After all, what else would Applejack represent? Her character within the show is synonymous with both a maturity beyond her years and an unmatched compassion for her peers, to the extent that she becomes, to this viewer, the unofficial leader of the group.Applejack Character Review2 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
Although it is well-established that Twilight Sparkle is the 'main' member of the core six, Applejack has more qualities that could be associated to a lead protagonist. Her behaviour is almost always optimistic; rarely do we see an example where she succumbs to defeat or negativity, even whe
Applejack's Sweet Craze Ch.1*Whack!* a horde of apples fell. *Smash!* another batch of apples fell. Applejack was currently bucking apples at her family's Sweet Apple Acres, giving fierce kicks to the Apple trees that had been planted there by her Granny years ago. "Phew! Well..that's the last of them apples, now 'ah can finally get back to Big Mac--Sis!" Applejack was then interrupted by her younger sister and her friends. She then turned her head to see the fillies running up to her with their wagon with a bunch of pastries in them. "Well if it ain't the Cutie Mark Crusaders, what y'all be doing with all that delicious looking food, got errands from Pinkie Pie?" Applejack asked to the three fillies. "Oh no, we made them ourselves." Sweetie Belle answered, with a feeling of pride coming from her tone of voice. "Yeah! we figured if we worked together at baking we could get our cutie marks!" Scootaloo cheered, flapping her wings in excitement. My Thoughts on ApplejackLet me get something out of the way right now. I liked Applejack when I first saw her in the first episode. This is something that needs to me made very clear because, under normal circumstances, I'm not a particular big fan of stereotype characters. When I say that Applejack is a stereotype, what I mean is that she very much seemed to embody many of the traits that people have of those in the Southern United States. The accent, the farm, the big family, the hat. If it wasn't for Applejack's more redeeming qualities I'd have probably dismissed her.My Thoughts on Applejack2 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
But like I said, Applejack has redeeming qualities to her. Many in fact that, like with Fluttershy, far outweigh any of the negative things I'm about to say about her in this essay.
First, let me talk about some of her good points. Being a person who works frequently in a farm environment, she is, naturally, a very hard worker. I've always had an appreciation for the kinds of people who do this kind of work, especially when they put so much
Applejack's Big NightWaddling through the darkness Applejack crept as quietly as she could out of her room and down the hall. Though her heft caused the floor beneath her to creak with every step, she chose the absolute dead of night to embark on yet another bountiful outing. With Granny Smith, Apple Bloom, and Big Mac out of commission, none would suspect her absence; and by the time they wake up it would’ve already been too late.Applejack's Big Night5 months ago in Short Stories More Like This
Going down the stairs and giddily trotting out the doors, she made her way toward the barn; passing by a curious Winona who followed her a short distance upon being disturbed by her hefty hooves pounding into the dirt. Noticing her companion accompanying her, she scratched her head and urged her to go back to sleep. As the night before, she would be spending this one alone. Aloof and entrapped within a world of indelible glee.
Opening the barn door, she quickly squeezed inside and closed it behind her. Making sure that even the clicking latch made only a peep. It b
Applejack's Sweet Craze CH. 3Looking upon the figure who apparently had stopped the would be thief from stealing her apples, Applejack could see the being was an old unicorn pony. His coat was of a grayish brown color, he held no mane but looking behind one could see a moderately long spiky white tail. Despite his age, Applejack could tell from his tail color, from it's hue was not entirely due to old age. The old stallion was rather tall, almost as much as her brother Big Macintosh, though not as muscular, he still had a slight build on him. On his body he wore full body black coat of some sorts with many pockets adorning it's length. His face had quite a few wrinkles, but he still looked very full of energy and life, which was most exuberantly shown in his gold eyes, brimming with strong confidence. "Y-yeah..." she replied, being taken aback by how ravenous her older sis's appetite seemed to be at the moment. Even after a hard day's work A had never eaten so much, it stumped the filly as to why this sudden change in Applejack's nature had occurred, were they really that good? Applejack sighed. "How kin anypony say no to a trio of young'uns as cute as you three?" She looked out the window of the homestead at the wild storm that the Pegasus ponies had brought to Ponyville. "And seein' how it's so stormy out an' all, it seems like a fine way ta pass the time. Now what kinda story should I tell y'all?" She brought a hoof to her chin in thought. "Oh! Ah know! To Be An AlicornSweet Apple Acres was a busy place in the spring. Two young stallions walked the fields with plows in tow, while a mailpony dragged in shipments of seeds and tools, and a couple more ponies were visible amonst the apple trees. Adding to the general bustle was a visitor to the farm who gingerly stepped out of the sky, looked around, and opened the gate into the main homestead area. A filly, not quite yet a mare, with a light green coat and straw-colored hair and baskets strapped to her saddle had been trotting through the area, and noticed the visitor first. Why Applejack Is UnderappreciatedBased on my brief experience with the brony community, Applejack seems to be the least popular of Mane Six. She's the only one who is called a background pony, albeit jokingly. But why do so many bronies find her uninteresting? They give reasons, but most of them don't add up to anything substantial. Why Applejack Is Underappreciated1 year ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
"She has no flaws"
I don't quite understand how people can't see Applejack's flaws, but the most likely reason is that her flaws aren't as obvious or exaggerated as those of her five friends. They do exist, though. You just have to pay attention.
Stubbornness: In "Applebuck Season," AJ was so stubborn that she worked herself to exhaustion before she finally admitted that she couldn't harvest her entire orchard on her own. She did learn to ask her friends for help, but her mind still tends to get stuck on one track, and as a result she sometimes loses sight of what's really important.
Pride: While AJ's pride isn't as in-your-face as Rainbow Dash's, she still lets pride get in the way

Twilight nodded as she continued to stretch, eyes still closed.
Rainbow didn't feel the need to allow Ms. Sparkle to awaken any further to let her in on the good news. "Hey Twi, guess what."
Twilight's eyes blearily opened, one just before the other, in attempt to acknowledge the impatient pony who had been so kind as to steal her away from her slumber. " Yeah?"

CHAPTER 1: Andromeda's discovery
Scattered pages and dusty old books filled the study in a cluttered mess as Andromeda Sparkle slept among the debris of her own handiwork. Unconscious after a long night of work, her mind only left dreamland when the amber beams of the rising sun shone on her face. With a groan, she slowly rose to her feet, heavy eyelids still drooping. Various loose documents clung to her face as she stood, unnoticed by her until their delicate forms slipped from her lavender cheeks and fluttered towards the blanket of weathered volumes that lay on the floor around her. Once the blur of sleep had finally faded, she turned to see the silhouette of her mom standing against the wall across the room, following a disarrayed chain of manuscripts as if casually searching for survivors.
Twilight Sparkle hadn’t turned the corner yet, but once she did, the purple mare wouldn’t be able to recognize the room. Andromeda’s expression burned from embarrassm

A Night (to Try) to Remember
Rarity inhaled deeply, letting the pleasant aroma of her drink fill her nostrils. The snifter glass gently shifted about, buoyed by her magical aura, and its burgundy contents swirled along the transparent walls. She tipped the glass to her lips, gracefully sipping its contents in a way that only years of cultured drinking could imbue. A satisfied smile crossed her lips as the cognac warmed her throat as it drained to her stomach. She was almost finished with her third glass of the night, which would put her just at her tolerance level for this particular beverage; such a shame that her friends didn't know their own tolerances.
At that thought, she looked about the bar from her seat in the corner booth. While she wasn't the type to normally socialize in such establishments, this bar was cultured enough for her tastes, being well designed, well built, and having a satisfactory selection of
