Atop the crest of a gentle hill he stood, sword plunged deep into the earth. He couldn’t help but admire the slowly descending sun, which so precisely rose up each day with promise of warmth and light. It was a sure thing that one could depend on to be true and to happen consistently. For if the sun were to simply cease to rise, life would then simply cease to exist. He shut his eyes for a bit longer than a standard blink, thoughts encasing his mind in much the same way ordinary rock may conceal a diamond. He ripped up his blade and slung it across his back, making way to depart and set forth on yet another path on the perilous journey he knew lay ahead, beckoning him onward. His struggle for a place in this world left him with no time for long goodbyes. Behind him, the small lights of Underveil disappeared into the night. He walked diligently and silently, accompanied by only the fading light of the sun and the emptiness he carried with him. The sound of waves gently lapping the
Double Ninja DamselsA young woman clad in a pink kimono wearing thigh high dark blue socks walked into a dusty old looking village and in the center of town was a large building which many people were gathering for a live show tonight. Not willing to share the space with such pigs, the young woman found a table in the back which had a few drunken men. She gave them a warm smile and lean forward to give them a good view and told them if they waited outside for her she would go home with them. A Percy Jackson one shot
Forcing my tears to stay inside of my eyes, I marched through the woods of Camp Half-Blood. I had been here for only a small week and already hated it! Why, you ask? I’m a four-year-old demigod in a camp full of demigod teenagers who see me as a baby!
‘No Althea, you’re too young for sword fighting.’.
‘You’re also too young for practising archery.’.
‘Everyone ready for a game of catch the flag? Oh, not you Althea. You’re only a little kid.’.
My blood was boiling so hard from all those ‘too young’, ‘too small’ and ‘little kid’ comments. The last one was made by a kid from the Ares cabin who happened to be now hanging upside down from a tree above a pool with very enthusiastic piranhas. Seriously though… Why was I here if I couldn’t participate in any of the activities?
Well no, that’s not true… The

In a small inn in the country of Kotoko south of Ike rested a rather chubby man dressed as a lord as he sat in peasant conditions. He was Loz, former head ruler of Ike and had fled the country as Naga invaded his lands. As he stared out at the moon bathed flower gardens, he felt a sudden gust behind him and turn around to see a ninja wearing a pink head mask with matching gloves and tabi socks with black top and trousers which had two pink vertical lines running up her suit on both sides with a sword strap to her back.
"You, you are the Pink Mist?" Loz asked as his voice quivered a little.
"Yes, what did you want to hire me for?" She spoke in a clam tone as she crossed her arms.
Girl PowerRocky DeSantos stroked his chin as he looked over one of the Youth Center's menus. Billy Cranston, Adam Park and Tommy Oliver sat around him at one of the outdoor patio tables behind the Gym & Juice bar, and Ernie tapped his foot as he waited for Rocky to make up his mind. He'd been tasked with getting the food for his picnic with Ryan Cooper later, and he wanted everything to be perfect. "Can I get two club sandwiches... couple bags of chips... two smoothies..." Rocky pursed his lips in thought as Ernie scribbled down his order. "And for Ryan? What do you guys think? A fruit cup?" Rocky teased. Tommy rolled his eyes and pushed the bill of Rocky's red baseball cap down, while Ernie shook his head and started for the kitchen to retrieve his order.Girl Power5 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Commission: Blublazefire0. WarYumiko Hanrae was moving over the battle fields, after having joined the Akatsuki some years ago, she had stayed with the group of Rogue ninja all this time. And now Tobi, or Madara as he called himself, had started the fourth great ninja war. He was quite the tactician, using the name of Madara Uchiha to frighten others. That name truly held power. Yumiko looked back as she heard an enormous crash behind herself. She stood paralyzed in amazement, seeing two enormous meteors stacked on each other. Now that was some serious power, using gravity to not only pull one, but two enormous rocks out of space and towards earth using only chakra, that truly was impressive. Madara didn’t seem to be holding back.
Yumiko jumped out of the way, avoiding a volley of shuriken and kunai hitting her. as she landed, she saw some Shinobi from the united army coming at her.

Immediately, the clan went into a defensive mode. Everyone, from ages ten and up, donned on their masks; the younger ones' faces were covered by a veil with a special marking to protect them.
Zen was immediately in his armor and put on his mask, his eyes flickering with anger. Hatchimitsu rose with him, retrieving her mask from the back of the room. Kurohane looked up at them with terror in her eyes, clutching her brother's arm in fear.
"Hatchimitsu, stay with the kids," Zen commanded, his voice somehow deeper. "I need you to stay here to protect them."
"Do not argue," he cut her off. He grabbed his wife's hands and gently kissed the tops of her fingers. "I cannot bear to lose you or my children. Care for them."

A small, rather chubby, girl with short dark blue hair and violet eyes sat quietly in the grass, staring blankly at an unmarked target--the shuriken she threw was all over the ground and in neighboring trees.
Her teacher cleared her throat, making her jump.
"Well, ah," the teacher stuttered. "You must keep working at it and you will ace it in no time, just like your paper grades!"
The girl knew that her teacher was just trying to be nice, but she knew that she only had the brains; she wasn't cut out for athletics.
"Here, I'll help her," a boy's voice came from behind her. She could hear the girls' dreamy sighs as her lanky twin brother stepped up.
He easily threw all five shuriken individually, each hitting the center or near the center of the target. The girls giggled.
"Very good, Kazuo!" the teacher complimented. The girl sighed.
"Kurohane?" the boy whispered, but she couldn't hear his voice.

Their clan was feared.
The Leaf Village and the Ryuken clan were on their seventh year of the peace treaty but the villagers were still very wary of the people. They have never seen their mysterious neighbors, the quiet and introverted people of the clan living oddly peacefully despite their battle tactics.
Their creepy horned and fanged masks were strangely blank, which made them even more terrifying. Only the clan knew each other's faces...
But that day was a rather joyous day. People surrounded the main house where their leader lived in. They chattered quietly amongst each other, the women giggling every once in a while.
Suddenly, the door burst opened. A man and a woman stood side-by-side, each holding a bundle that wiggled in their arms.
The crowd laughed and applauded; another successful birth.
"A twin!" an older woman crowed from the back. "A boy and a girl, the twins! They will save our clan!"

Very curious, indeed. That Chaos Control function is extremely puzzling. How does it work? Why did it react to one particular boy rather than anyone at all? Does it still exist inside you, or has it dissipated since its task of bringing you here is now done? This merits further research, but don’t worry. It will only be another six or so experiments, then my curiosity will be satisfied.” Xavier groaned inside the tube.
“I’ve been through at least three dozen experiments…in a week! When will this nightmare be over?” h

“This is who you really are.”
A grittier, angrier version of Solus’ own voice echoed in the darkness. However, Solus was aware that he was asleep. He knew what he was hearing and seeing wasn’t real. He just couldn’t seem to wake up.
“This is just a dream,” He kept repeating to himself, ignoring the images that flashed around him. One depicted Solus at a young age, before the tragedy that killed his family. The next instant, an image of a young Solus on his knees appeared, tears streaming down his face as he looked on at the blaze that engulfed his home.
The disembodied voice suddenly grew angry and spat out the words as though they left a bad taste in its mouth, “Why weren’t you at home when the fire started, Solus?”
“This is just a dream,” He repeated to himself, more desperately and gritting his teeth. The voice had no particular source still, as far as he could tell. Solus looked around. The images had changed.
