once started young and healthy.
while others drank red cups
and slept during day, we instead
shoved dots into earth and
nurtured, as they grew
protected in the rain,
picked them when they
where old enough not to live
under our rule. we let them
pass through a machine
to be processed into
fine cloth, only to enter
the hands of someone else.
the young and healthy that
left the fields, became
successful, but never got
to see when life grows.
how it changes and flies
onto its own path.
so we cry and cry.
till they themselves
end up the cloth that helps
protect the worker from the
rain, heat and dirt.
together they grow crops of
their own. sure what you do
may be fun, but listen when i say
its not life.

as the first ray of sunlight breaches the boundary of the horizon.
They begin to croon a soft melody to the sun
to coax him from his slumber.
she whistles through the branches of the forest,
awaking other animals and joining the song.
The sun stretches above the hills,
trying to burn away the foggy mist of the night,
and creatures of the forest squeak,
rejoicing the return of the sun and the gift of another day.
Reaching across the land,
he runs his fingers through the leaves,
making them shine like polished emeralds
His warmth kisses the earth,
and he smiles
as he watches the world's vast beauty fully wake
The swirling wind sings and rushes over the ground,
making the trees dance to her tune,
and the birds craft a song that complements hers.
Their music intertwines,
the melody passing back and forth.
The sun chuckles in amusement,
his happiness making him shine even brighter
and bring life and joy to the earth.

It is easy to see as nature readily does both
The world is popping with everything bright shinny and new
Finally one can watch the white clouds dance on a back drop of blue
Children farmers and artists too have been waiting for spring
Waiting for the colors to hear the birds sing
And finally this time of warmth is here
There are no more flurries or ice to fear
Now go on children and play just watch for rain
As I sit here and wait for winter to come again

I looked up to the sky and saw the universe as one
Twisting and turning in an eternal dance
No one would notice or dance along
They would walk by without a second glance
No one would sing the soft winds song.
Winter NightA blanket of white covers the world,Winter Night12 hours ago in Free Verse More Like This
Cushioning footfalls, quieting sounds.
Moonlight twinkles everywhere,
The ground sparkling to echo the stars.
Pristine, pure, untouched by man.
Here and there a few small trails-
A fox hunting for her kits,
A wolf howling to the moon,
A squirrel scurrying home.
The snow clings to the trees,
Making them blend away to the world of white.
Slowly more flakes start to fall,
Adding another dusting to the land.
A hoot is heard, it fades away.
All is good this winter's night.

A high silver bank of fog.
It stays in the sky, covering the world.
Below, a carpet of green.
It cushions our footfalls, softens out landings.
The soft bed of earth.
A small guard stands watch,
Bare and wiry sentries towering above.
The remain when Nature sleeps,
Thin though they may be.
Their tall arms reach out,
Naked but strong against the world.
The horizon is ablaze,
The fiery light glowing fiercely.
It blazes with the passion of life,
Never wanting to die or give in.
A small smear of hope in the dull world.
The air, crisp with the season's chill.
It cuts though jackets.
It freezes the waters, stilling their clamor.
And yet, it bring warmth.
In out hearts, we feel it.
The comfort of the times.
The love of our families.
The soft embrace of our loved ones.
The cozy warmth of out beds.
Fall. A wonderful season.
A time of hope and change.

beneath you, that you are
to good for me. You will
not win, I we tell her how
I feel, with your help or not.

Its secrets spun within.
Its is passes effortlessly by whispering Pines,
The Maples speak of sweet tastes,
The Redwoods of magnificent veiws,
The Pines of colder days.
As the seasons cool,
The whispers seem to greaten.
Old giants share their legacy before their slumber.
Like nature's bedtime stories.
As others sleep,
The pines still whisper,
Louder to pass through the napping bodies to reach one of their own. The pines never stop chatting.
As the snow melts the trees spend less time speaking, and more time yawning,
Ready for a new year of missed winter and new stories
The WallOnce upon a time, there once was a wall so high, so thick, that stretched out as far as the horizon. Many people have come across this wall, they have told stories, legends about this wall. Some described it as a titanium beast, others have said is was nothing but a cheap wooden hurdle just high enough to climb, that there were loopholes, some said there was no wall at all. They spoke of different types of walls, from stone to marble, from walls made of impassible trees to walls as hard as metal. They all spoke of ways to destroy the wall, to climb it, to go around it, but they have all tried and failed. The Wall15 hours ago in Free Verse More Like This
Some time ago, A youth asked many villagers about this wall, seeking to find this legend for himself. He questioned the villagers that saw it as a massive structure. The youth saw in them the faces of despair, and lost hope. What was it they wished to obtain on the other side of that wall? What was it they wanted so badly? Why did they all seem, so, lost? They spoke of it highly. Nor ha

Spreading its warmth with ease.

Tell me how the colors blend into one.
The moon, wind, and sun.

Rooted to the ground are the ones
Who live black and grey lives
Some stand on cliffs above everyone else
They live grey and white lives
But I am so much more.
I come from below and above
With the most vivid life possible
Shades of a color brighter than light
Flow around me in intricate spirals
I dare to step off of the cliff.
I spread wings better left unused
And soar through the clouds.
I open a mouth better left closed
And glide through crashing waves.
I am finally free.
I am a creature of sea and sky
And people will want to ground me
With their worthless and dull gravity
And you tell them.
Tell them I swim in blue.

Feel the breeze,
Float upon the stars,
Sink into the ocean,
Climb a mountain,
Sing to be heard,
Walk on an Earth,
That has its jewels restored.
Breathe in the air,
Fresh and sharp,
Live to be seen,
Speak with confidence,
The world is yours.
Run through the trees,
Barefoot and proud,
Run wild and free,
Leap over a crystal stream,
Pass the golden furred deer,
And know they’re here to stay.
We all have a place,
From the tiniest bug,
To the thundering elephant,
Balance is key.
Let the woods echo with life,
Let the sea’s heartbeat,
Free from disease.
We all belong here,
But respect the Earth,
And she shall provide and protect.
