Poem: The Best laid plansThe Best Laid PlansPoem: The Best laid plans1 week ago in Concrete Poetry More Like This
Don't you just hate it, when all your plans blow up in smoke
Due to sheer incompetence on your part or your henchmen?
Or by just pure bad luck? Aren't you tired of it all?
You come up with a brilliant plan, to get back at your enemies.
To show them, how determined you are to fail again, I mean win at any cost.
You spend most of the night, brain storming ideas for your perfect plan.
It must be clever and fool proof!
Then you suddenly realize.
Tomorrow is bad villain day.
So all that time you spent, thinking up of a good plan was for nothing.
Oh well there's always tomorrow...the day after tomorrow.
