“Watcha reading?” You groan in annoyance. “Go away Gilbert.” School was bad enough today without your annoying brother bugging you. All you wanted to do was read your Hetalia reader inserts in peace.
“Geez schwester just wanted to see what you were doing.” He walks towards the door of your bedroom. You sigh in relief. Finally, peace and quiet.
“Reddit’s better.” You spin around in your chair to face your brother. “What did you say?” He grins. “I said, ‘Reddit’s better’.” He waves his phone, where the Reddit homepage shines mockingly at you.
You get up and stomp over to your brother. “Take that back!” You growl. Gilbert shakes his head. “Nope, Reddit is better!

Everyone will die.
That is a fact.
You will die.
Your friends will die.
Everyone you know will die.
These are indisputable facts.
Your body will break down and crash in one way or another.
Your heart will stop.
Your brain synapses will cease firing.
100% guaranteed termination.
You and everyone you know has less than 122 years left.
The oldest person alive was 122.

Death should be your number one enemy.
Do not accept it.
Do not welcome it.
The question is - are you willing to extend, improve your life and the lives of those you love?
Why haven't you done it yet? Do you think it's impossible?
Flying for us was impossible until airplanes were built.
Now, the question is- how do we stop the personal catastrophe of death?
The logical answer is - science!
We can slow death down using modern medicine, and we can stop and reverse some accidental causes of death.
Aging is one cause that we cannot currentl

Oh my dear, sweet Derpy
I knew nothing of your pain
But if I had one more chance
I would choose this again.
For people here do need me
Only I can save them now
Although there's one small problem
I have yet to figure how
I'm so sorry that I left you
It should not have been this long
To assure you that I am fine
I thought I'd write this song
Although I've travelled far
Know that you're always near
In my heart I always hold you
In my memories I hear
As usual I've failed you
I have left you all alone
No trace of where I am now
If only I had known
I came to this small moon
With intent to grab a gift
But whilst I was out shopping
In time, opened a rift
People ran as they did panic
Only I was cool and calm
This thing is normal for me
But those here could still take harm
It's still so hard to focus

Arguing With IdiotsWe all have our addictions. For some, it's smoking. For others, it's drinking. And for many others, it's porn. For me, it's arguing on the internetthe most fruitless endeavor since Sisyphus rolling a boulder up a hill.Arguing With Idiots2 years ago in Editorial More Like This
I don't know what compels me to argue. I guess it's this naive notion that, if you encounter someone with an incorrect belief and you provide them logic, reason, and evidence to the contrary, that they will abandon their belief. If that were the case, the world wouldn't be plagued with birthers, truthers, anti-vaccers, Keynesians, and other idiots with blatantly incorrect beliefs. You can lead an idiot to knowledge but you can't make them think.
So I know that arguing with people rarely changes their minds. So why do I persist with arguing? Do I derive pleasure from it? Hardly! If anything, it gives me grief. There's nothing more frustrating than knowing someone is demonstrably wrong, and even when you prove to them that they are, not only do they not admit it, but

Tired creatures rest in a heap.
I'll tuck your little hoofsies in.
Please go the buck to sleep.
Ponyville snoozes in darkness, my darling
Not even the insects creep.
It's time to go to slumberland,
So go the buck to sleep.
The griffins above the clouds are tired out
And the fishes slumber in the deep.
Ponyfeathers, there's no way you're not tired!
Just get in your bucking bed, you'll see! Go sleep!
Rainbow Dash is snoring now
And Applejack is counting sheep.
Darn it, just shut up, no more,
And go the buck to sleep!
Fluttershy keeps her critters close.
They snooze without a peep.
I'm not getting you any cider now!
Just go the buck to sleep!
Pinkie Pie parties in dreamland now
The birds are too tired to cheep.
I'll send you to the moon, I swear,
If you don't go the buck to sleep!

It's looking trim and neat.
What the buck Rarity, not you too!

Afraid of the dark?
A crash of thunder caused her to sit up quickly in bed. [e/c] orbs wide, and heart racing. Her once sound sleep was disturbed by the storm outside, and the terrifying feeling of being watched. Her eyes swept across the room, a brief flash of lightning illuminated the room.
From what she could tell, everything was normal. Looking around once more, she noticed her closet door was open. Frowning, she tried to remember if she did in fact close it or not. Shrugging the thought off, she tossed her sheets to the side and got out of bed.
A loud crack of thunder rang and the young female stared at the window. She wasn't scared, just unamused at the fact that such a thing woke her. With a sigh, she slowly walked over to the closet.
A low click was heard as she closed the door, another sigh leaving her lips. Playing with the fabric of her nightgown, the girl made her way back to the warmth of her bed.
Stopping, the young [h/c]-ette looked at the doo

The jet-black Pegasus dropship cut through the night sky. The dropship, with its stealth package, was designed to be almost impossible to pick up on radar or thermal scanners. In the bay of the craft sat 12 soldiers in hulking powered armor colored the same jet-black as the VTOL they rode in.
These men were Archangels, some of the best soldiers the United States military had to offer. A crest featuring a winged sword was emblazoned on each of their shoulders, with an inscription that read "Exitus Acta Probat," or "The End Justifies the Means." The inscription was fitting considering the unit's infamy surrounding their ruthless tactics. Me

Real men respect this untameable inner world and nurturing nature within every female’s mind

So you say girls can’t think for themselves and are just brainless toys compared to you
Real men know women are smarter than men in many if not most ways, not to mention being wise
Real men respect the ladies in their lives and know to turn to them for advice, because girls have all been through more than guys

deviantART, Do you support it? Let's think for a moment. Would you want your government to take your personal information without your knowledge? I definitely wouldn't want that. But there are some people who support that notion. The bill CISPA (Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act) would allow the government to do that very thing. Not fair, right? I would not support this bill even if I was paid a million bucks. But that may not be true for you guys though. Who knows maybe after you finish this essay you would actually support the bill, but maybe not. As I go through this essay I will explain my reasons for why I disagree with CISPA, along with examples/evidence. I will also be giving the view of the people who agree with CISPA. You probably would be thinking. "Wait a second, who would agree with CISPA?" Well you'll find that out around the end of this essay. Noel Drewlie and Posava Matthews are both the founders of the Iwteoyf facility, a secret underground laboratory located somewhere in the Himilayas. The two were unbelievably successful mad scientists who had the goal of creating successful serums for some of the most powerful beings ever concieved; Pokemon. They worked as a pair; Noel would come up with the designs for the hyperviruses for the experiments, and Posava would create the serums and carry the tests out. They were also best friends with each other; they've been so for 12 years straight.
One day (at about noon), Posava was commuting to the spot in the mountains that led to the elevator to the Iwteoyf building. I

Trouble? In Equestria? Perish the thought!
But the guards warn our princess and she seems quite alarmed,
She sends out a letter and hopes the newlyweds are unharmed.
After the opening we cut to the library,
Where Twilight makes faces and generally acts scary.
Twilight is (again) making a big deal of her test,
And of all their options Luna believes this isn't the best.
But Celestia explains the dire situation,
Of the crystal ponies and their king's forced abdication.
Her eyes go all black and she seems ready to turn,
But she soon reverts back and her pupils cease to burn.
Twilight then hopes her mark she won't miss,
and sings a song with Spike about not being ready for this.
They then inform the others and hop on the train,
Chugging off to the north and the crystal domain.
They arrive to find Shining Armor in a scene quite like Hoth
before running for their lives to remain out of the mad king's swath.
Arriving at safety they find that all
The AsylumMy entire life I've always had a sort of obsession with the idea of insanity. I don't know why. I've always found the dark and the morose to be fascinating. I guess it's the thought of plunging down into a state where what happens in the real world and what happens in your head becomes undistinguishable that interests me so. It's insane asylums that have always attracted my greatest attention. I don't mean the nice, normal hospital type of institutions we see now a days. I mean a full-on, classic insane asylum. Dark, cold, lonely. So much madness trapped in one place, the screams of the crazy coming from every corner of the building. I could always hear it in my head. I could practically see it when I thought hard enough. And all throughout my childhood, and even now in my late teens, I've always thought about it. While the other little girls would be drawing pictures of
I Don't Like Watching Television.I don’t like watching tv too much. Recently we had some people come by and set up equipment in our house to basically monitor what we watch, and we get a check for it at the end of the month. I ended up getting woken up late one night, not even sure why I woke up, but I could’ve sworn I heard tv static or some obnoxious commercial since I’m a pretty light sleeper when it comes to things like t

This is a response I wrote to the inquiring minds on the
"Why I need Feminism" poem. **Featured here on Devaintart..
Judging by the original poem and some of the interesting replies to it..
It seems that a lot of people don't actually follow Feminism.
IE: You all ask the question:
How can people "hate" feminism, when it stands for equal rights?
It's sad to say, but Feminism isn't about equal rights.. well, unless you're just
a coffee shop feminist or taking it at the value of only ONE of it's definitions.
If you actually read the books and watch the interviews with the women in charge
of your movement. Then you'll see Feminism for what it actually is and what it promotes.
IE: They believe in the Patriarchy, which not only labels men as "the pro

Visions vivid, bestowed upon me;
The face of the sky,
Freckled with stars.
Lost little one, wandering alone-
I can not let you fade,
I can help you today.
I know your burdens,
I know your pain;
Our woes are different,
But the abyss is the same.
Cold little one, stumbling through night-
I can help you with my words,
I will not let you fall.
You think there is no dawn,
My dream revealed me this;
Turn away from the demon
And experience the sun's golden kiss.
Raise your face to the sunrise, little one,
You must be strong;
The walk through the wastelands is trying,
But rewarding after all.
