Recycling Satire Recycling is a familiar concept in this day and age. It is the hallmark of a clean society. They say that as an individual, one must start recycling in order to help others begin. So, if recycling starts with the individual, then the individual must start being recycled!Recycling Satire5 years ago in Humor More Like This
The organs are the first line of business to take care of. Start by cleansing the brain of all thoughts and memories, using a course-bristle brush; remember to brush hard on those difficult to reach brain folds. Next, rinse the heart in luke-warm water and Pine-Sol in order to clear it of all excess fluids and emotions. The brain and heart now belong to a new body. Immediately following these are the lungs. Make sure to get them dry and ventilated by way of hair dryer, else beware of the goopy mess to ensue. These will be filled with helium and used as balloons t

How you taunt me so.
Plump from my ideas,
With none for me to show.
Your mouth always open,
Waiting to be fed
The words that roll about
So messy in my head.
Each scrap a banquet,
Each page a tasty treat.
You grin at my failure
And swell from my defeat...

It's no surprise of course, for I've always had a habit of misplacing important things like keys, documents, and identification cards, but to leave one’s arm on the table is truly embarrassing. I would have run back to get it, but the bus driver is always a bit early on Tuesdays and I could already hear the distant hum of the engine making its way to me. And it's not like I really need it for work anyway. So I left it behind.
It's penguins and oranges today; my latest client is a fairly normal one. The last dreamer wanted marsupial martial arts masters in Atlantis. In space. You would think putting dreams to canvas is an easy job, and you'd be right - but truly I wonder about humanity at times. Subconscious wanderings are laid bare to my paintbrush - they get their dreams, and I don't fall apart entirely.

Art Trade: RecyclingGreen sighed. Almost there, I can just barely make out the cave... The gym leader was currently on his way to Red's cave on Mt. Silver. He refused to let his best friend and lover freeze alone since Valentine's Day was nearing.Art Trade: Recycling2 years ago in Humor More Like This
This was the second year Red and him would be together for Valentine's Day, or they would be if Green would hurry on his way through the now stirring snowstorm. He shivered and rubbed his arms as he slowly made his way through the 6 inches of snow. Green loathed the day Red chose one of the highest caves on Mt. Silver.
His teeth continued to chatter vigorously as he realized how much closer he had gotten to the cave. Relief washed over Green as soon as he hit the last three feet to the lit up cave that was straight ahead of him. At least Red had enough sense to pick a flat area.
As soon as Green entered the cave he immediately took off the bag he had on his back and shook it free of any snow. After brushing off the last few stray pieces he gently set the
FFX-2: Rainbow Flan - part 1 The Celsius, the airship belonging to the Sphere Hunter group, the Gullwings, slowly lifted off from the ground of an island off the coast of Besaid, leaving behind four figures on the sandy beach. Upon closer inspection, it became aparrent that each of the figures was decidedly female. One, the shortest, had wild, long blond hair and wore very little in the way of clothing, as custom of the thief Dress Sphere. A bit taller than her was a young woman with short, brown hair, dressed in the attire of a Gunner. The tallest of the three initial women had silver colored hair styled in an unusual fashion and was clad in black leather as was custom to warriors. These three girls were the main body of the Sphere Hunter group, the Gullwings, known as 'YRP,' short for their names: Yuna, Rikku, and Paine.FFX-2: Rainbow Flan - part 14 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

Nobody would want to reuse me.
Every cell of my body was worn out.
"I can't agree with your theory", I replied,
sucking on a lifeless soft drink.
It was as flat as a dead joke delivery.
I finished it and handed him the can.
"Thanks for not littering", he smiled,
adding the can to his collection.
I looked in that black plastic bag
and saw the worn-out eyes of a thousand souls.
Recycling and Lip GlossSummary: The So Random! and MacKenzie Falls casts are holding a contest to see who can be more green and help the environment by recycling 100 pounds of reusable objects. Sonny, being the happy-go-lucky person she is, uses plenty of recyclable items during the contest. This causes the MacKenzie Falls cast to grow angry due to the fact that they beat So Random! at just about everything. In a desperate attempt to stop Sonny, they send Chad over to try and distract her from reaching the goal before they do. Chad, knowing his cast is twenty pounds away from the goal while their rivals are only two pounds away, agrees and rushes off to talk to Sonny.Recycling and Lip Gloss5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

I shifted uncomfortably in my chair. This question always made me feel like I was on the spotlight, like at any second I was supposed to blurt out some sort of secret. Well, I mused, pretending to seriously consider it. Im good with people, especially children. I dont know why.
She smiled and patted my arm in what was obviously a maternally way. Take it to her to act like the mother, what with her super clear skin and huge boobs. Yep, Im sure many of the fathers drooled over her in their sleep. People never know why theyre good with children. Its a God given gift. Anything else?
Without even really thinking about it, I blurted out, I wont look at the moms when they drop their kids off. Oh, damn. There went another job. I lowered my eyes to my lap, feeling my face and my back suddenly grow very hot. Take it to me to be M

It was so close that she could feel the steely air and heard the frightening "swish" as it barely grazed over her hair and stuck directly into the wall. She looked back; N wasn't even using a dart board! "My lord?" she asked nervously, hesitant to approach him. "Are you alright?"
"Leave me!" was the growling response. He threw another dart; this one took a huge chunk from the wall, the pretty blue wallpaper fluttering down to the ground.
Concordia stepped behind him, taking a seat on the young king's favorite skateboard. She looked back and saw that

Wide blue eyes stared down the aisle of the church almost unseeingly. She could feel the fine white silk of her dress beneath her fingers, but its beauty brought her no more joy. It had been so long ago when she had deemed the dress absolutely perfect on first sight. She had sworn to decorate her hair beautifully, but now it hung loose and unadorned around her shoulders. It was the second time she was wearing the dress, but the first time she was staring down the aisle. And the man that was waiting for her was not the man she had set out to meet a week ago on the day that should have been the happiest of her life.
That day had been full of moonshine and roses, smiles and nervous giggles that lasted a full ten minutes. Then the news had come that had shattered her whole life. Her fiancé and brother were both dead, killed in an accident on the way to the wedding. Life had lost all meaning from that one sentence, and she'd thought things could just n

"N-nothing," you responded, furrowing your eyebrows together.
"So, was it just my imagination when I saw you hide something, right?" Raven smirked.
"Alright. You caught me." You replied, raising your arms in defeat. You brought out the box from its little hiding area, and you untied the ribbon and showed it to Raven. She smiled and took out a chocolate from the box, eating it slowly. You sighed.
"Now you owe me a chocolate."
"Wait, that wasn't for me?" Raven asked, surprised.
"No! This one was Scott's!" You giggled. "So, did you get chocolates for everyone?"
Raven tapped her foot on the ground. "Uh, I have a small box of chocolates for Charles," she said, rubb

Burning the words into oblivion,
Destroyed and forgotten like so many things,
Useless ashes blown by fickle wind.
The words don’t matter,
They made no sense,
Inspired no minds,
Better off destroyed anyway.
Fire oh fire,
Make me forget these things,
They never should have bothered,
Maybe I’ll just try again,
Or perhaps it’s time to throw in the towel.
Keep burning now fire,
There are plenty more words to demolish,
Words of no impact,
Even you would find them boring.
Claw MachineIt was a normal day at the carnival: we had ridden the roller coasters, played the hammer game, and puked on the Tilt-a-Whirl. But we hadn't seen a Claw Machine yet, which was a shame because I always win those.Claw Machine3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
But then I saw one. It was filled with an assortment of toys: a Ziggy doll, Betty Boop, a Batman, a gorilla, your normal Claw Machine diet. But when I laid eyes on it, I had to have my dad give me my last two quarters. It was a Jigglypuff doll. I just had to have it; it was the cutest thing, made cuter by the two bandages on it, most likely a reference to the Recycle card.
I inserted my quarters like a pro at a football game. I stuck out my tongue as the annoying song played. I told my little brother to be quiet when he talked out of excitement. I moved my claw up, then right, and then up, then right, then I walked around the machine to assure myself. Confident of the claw's position, I hastefully pushed the button; no need to give time to myself to second-guess my self. The cl

And what did I see?
Me, a squirrel, up in a tree.
And from up on the branch, I looked to the road.
And what did I see?
Me, a fat little toad.
And down on the asphalt, I looked to the sky,
And what did I see?
Me, a bird, way up high.
And from up in the clouds, I looked to the sea,
And what did I spot?
Me, an old seal, dead as could be.
And from my place on the beach, where I decided to die,
I looked back at the bird, way up in the sky.
The bird looked at the toad, the toad looked to the tree,
The squirrel stared back,
The bell rang at 2:03.
