A blissful union
Joining two into one
Granted the blessing of the sun
Mi Amore Cadenza
Princess of love
Grace, a poetic stanza
Captain of the Royal Guard
Equestria's shield of power
Selflessness, his card
Brother to the Element of Magic
Her refuge, her sanctuary
An end nearly tragic
Averted by steadfast quarry
Blinded by affection
An imposter, masquerading in plain sight
Her diabolical schemes, an abomination
Goal, Equestrian blight
Memories irreconcilable with the present
All parties directing resentment
In caverns of yore
The true musical melody
Released from crystal core
To stop the one so shadowy
Identity, a fake
True form revealed
Queen of Changelings' sake
Canterlot forcefully controlled
Princess of the sun
Bond of one
Love's true power attested
Just as in times old
The power of friendship untold
Uplifted higher, brighter, a sight to behold
The might of love so bold
Triumphing over the
Into the LightWhen I was a boyInto the Light2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I used to pray to dashboard lights--
They always brought me safely home.
As darkness would unfurl himself
along the horizon and, like a serpent,
swallow up the sky
regurgitating stars and the bile of moonlight,
I was saved by the messianic gleam
of artificial luminescence shining through.
I'd tuck myself into the leather seat,
press my cheek against the warm cold glass
and watch with hushed worship
as the soft orange glow emanated
from behind the dials, buttons and knobs
like a night-light promising
safety, warmth and immortality.
A brilliant shade of green would come,
resurrected from the blackness
of the radio's display,
either flashing digits or holding steady
on the last station
awake and broadcasting that night.
Often I would find myself embraced
by the gentle suspension,
by the beaming radiance of electric light
if I should become lost,
I could always find my way back home
by surrendering my earthly fate
to the hallowed trinity
of defroster, speedo

Aura: The Respark
I, the sheltered child who started to tragically fall from your grace
Into the void of this sudden loneliness
Realizing I followed every single one of your steps
But yet, I failed to hold onto those uplifting moments
Now I feel as if maybe I had forced you to make every one of those promises
That which you still kept
So I don't want to sound dishonest, but out of us, you are the strongest
You make sure to protect
To you, everyone, and everything is dearest
None left to neglect
But with all of that, you take on those heavy burdens
And try your best
Calling out your name into the nothingness
Forgetting about the peace you bestowed upon me
I guess it's just too hard to be away from

A cool wind blew across the Banishlands, causing the gray mare atop the hill to shiver. Winter was retreating, but a deep gloom still flickered over the land. Dark storm clouds loomed high in the sky, and to the southeast, the Lorarem Mountains soared into infinity. The mare snorted, tossing her light gray mane. The rainy weather disturbed her. In a life before, the black clouds above her head would have meant more than a wet coat. But now, they were a simple sign that a moist night was closing in.
Letting out a deep sigh, Yalda arched her neck to glance at the black stallion that stood at the foot of the grassy hill. In the shadowy light, Razarrs coat shone like ebony obsidian, powerful muscles etched out in his fur. Letting out a high-pitched whinny, Yalda swished her tail, blue eyes flashing. Razarr lifted his massive head, turning to gaze at his mate. The st

It was me in your arms
My lips on yours
There was only us
And the clouds
And the stars
It was the world and us
It was us against the world
But in your arms I could take it
Anything the world dished out
And with your kisses I was strong again
In my dreams it was me in your arms
My lips on yours
But in reality

She was just the girl who'd wandered too deep into the woods. And he, a fire-breathing dragon, hidden behind a handsome human face. Surely the two could never, ever Fall in love.

a caricature of the world in graphite and ash. They and their beady eyes
pretended that it was beautiful, overlooking that stranded somewhere
between the isles of coma and sleep, girls lay covered in plumage and
straw and feather-down. Buzzards and birds-of-prey pecked hungrily
at dimples on the cheeks of the innocent ones, leering down from
rafters at children scared of the dark.
A golden-haired-boy (too young to be a man, too wise to be a boy) stretches
his wings from the summit of Mount Everest. He whispers to the little
globe he has made out of stray tumbleweeds and paper 'don't be afraid'.
He sings and tosses his hair and the world is coloured yellow, where the
young scream and run outside, ribbons of light playing chase across their small
frames. He smiles to himself and takes off into the light veiled by the clouds.

"It has to be Kira. No one else would have been able to kill him with a heart attack. I've been looking for that man for three years and he's finally dead now. It's all thanks to him." You place the food on a tray and gently nudge Matsuda's door open with your behind. You see him lying face down on his pillow and sighing audibly.
"Hey, made you some food. Hope you're hungry." You set the tray down next to him and sit on the bed. Matsuda looks at the food and smiles.
"Ah thanks [name]. You always are so nice and sweet." He begins eating and you think about what to talk about.
"So I met Chief Yagami's son today, Light. He seems like a nice guy." You tuck a piece of hair behind your ear as you think about your encounter today.
"Really?! That's awesome! Light's a swell guy, he's so helpful and smart! Where did you meet him at?" Matsuda grins as he sips his cof

The mighty Rainbow of Light continued to unleash its purity across the land and remove any remaining Darkness that had corrupted Equestria and the rest of the world. Once all traces of evil recently spread by the Dark One had vanished, the Rainbow faded away.
Courageous and the Mane Six were returned to the ground where they rejoined the various creatures that were at a loss for words after what they had just witnessed.
Equestria was once again the beautiful paradise that existed for over a thousand years. The eyes of the many gazed all around…simply astonished by the warmth of the sun that shined down on this land they call home.
Silence was upon all the ponies, dragons, buffalo, and zebras; no pony knew what to say or how to react to finally seeing the Darkness disappear and the Light returning once more.
The silence was soon broken when one pony within the crowd screamed with excitement, “We did it! We saved Equestria!!! WHOOOOOOP!!!! Chee

"My roommate is Touta Matsuda. He works with chief Yagami on the Kira case. Oops!" You quickly cover your mouth in embarrassment. Matsuda warns you not to reveal anything about cases to strangers and you just blew it.
"Matsuda? I can't believe he's capable of taking care of someone. He can't take care of himself half the time. And I see you're not supposed to know much on the Kira case huh. No worries, I don't know much either. It's confidential business. You said you were headed to the police station right?"
"Yep! But it'd be a short visit. I don't want to be a bother to anyone." The snow starts to come down heavier and you pull your coat collar up higher to keep warm.
"I'm sorry but nobody is there. I was just there to drop off some clean clothes for my father and he wasn't available."
You wonder why no one is at task force but shrug it off.

A WORD OF CAUTION! THE FOLLOWING STORY CONTAIN THREE OVERWEIGHT WOMAN JOYFULLY GOBBLING UP WAY TOO MUCH FOOD AND FARTING QUITE A BIT. MOST OF YOU WILL PROBABLY BE INTOLERANT OF BOTH.
"Uuuuurp! Oh wow, this stuff is great!" giggled Avalon as she happily belched through a double mouthful of the homebrew cola. Harry's family must have been Kings of Cola in their day! She'd have to inquire about their history at some point, but for now she was perfectly content filling her maw with their legacy.
Shannon giggled as Nami attacked her third chocolate cake. Herself the largest of the sisters, she found it rather cute that Nami, the smallest, devoured her food with mre gusto than her two superiorly sized sisters. Yet amazingly, she had still eaten twice Nami's meal in sandwiches, pastries, fries and hotdogs, to name a few
"Y-y-you three alright?"
"I can honestly say never better," chuckled Shannon, stuffing a whle sandwich in her mouth.
"Could do with more cola though."
Light and darkness.Silence surrounds us.Light and darkness.3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Brick walls to keep us imprisoned,
Blocked out from any source of light.
Demons attacking from the utter darkness,
Tearing at us, trying to kill our spirits.
Continually they come, with claws against flesh...
God I pray to You,
Begging for forgiveness.
In our dying hour we cry for You,
As we hit the ground, with bodies bleeding.
These ugly creatures upon us, wanting our souls,
We cry, we cry, we cry for You.
In a flash like Lightning You came,
With a wave of Your hand the creatures tremble.
They beg You not to harm them,
But Your Light, Your Holiness burns them.
They flee into the darkness they came from,
As You come to us and lift us up.
You mend the wounds and heal the scars,
"You are Forgiven.'
With that Saving Grace we are made new,
In the Glorious Splendor of Your Light.
Through the LightThe cancer took Mary on a Friday, just after three in the morning. She was laying in bed, sleeping. I sat in the chair near the window, reading something, I forget now what, trying not to think about the moment, only thinking about the moment. It had just finished raining, and I had the window to the room cracked, the scent of fresh condensation floating in from the garden outside. The air smelled pure and relaxed. It was lovely.Through the Light9 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
I was dozing slightly when the EKG started to beep. It took me several seconds to realize what exactly I was hearing, not that it mattered much. By the time I was out of the chair, the nurse had walked in. She moved down the corridor from the lobby to the room with calm purpose, her steps quick but not rushed. She kept a forced, tiny smile at the corners of her mouth, an expression I’m sure she had used hundreds of times, and nodded to me as I dropped the book. She went straight to the machine and silenced the godawful alarm.
She checked Mary’s pul
