Name's Scott Pilgrim. Just turned the most awesome 24 year old ever and am rated A for awesome.
We are Sex Bob-Omb along with *partner name* and we are here to make you think about death and get sad and stuff!
I've just got to get it together. I can't be stuck in the infinite sadness and I've still got to take on the universe!
(vs Sonic) So do any games you have help increase my stats at all? I remember Speedy the Porcupine doing that for me at least.
(vs Knuckles) And here I thought that Sonic and Knuckles was just the name of a band.
(vs Amy) A hammer like Ramona's and a personality more like Knives. Sonic sure has a lot to deal with.
(vs Akira) Call me a slacker if you want, but I'm just fine having to buy my special training.
(vs Sarah) So are you going along with that karate guy in that one game? You know, the one with all the big breasted women.
(vs Jacky) The last race I had was over at Honest Ed's. I'm just going to say that it d

"Fattening her up for the kill, eh?"
"You say that every time Ramona comes over for dinner, Wallace." replied Scott as he added a generous lump of butter to the mashed potatoes he was stirring.
"Well guy, I've been noticing she's been getting pretty chubby recently, and that you've been inviting her over for dinner more often....." Wallace gave him a saucy wink as Scott checked the various pots that he had bubbling on the stove. "It's okay if you like 'em big, Scotty; I'm not gonna say I understand, since I don't really like them at all, but whatever, guy."
"What? Crazy talk." Wallace rolled his eyes as he peered into the oven.
"What's with the turkey? Wasn't Thanksgiving in October?"
"Oh, that was Canadian Thanksgiving. It's Thanksgiving in the States today, so..."
"So you thought you might indulge your girlfriend in her homeland holiday for your own personal gain..." Wallace paused and nonchalantly examined the turkey-baster on the bench "or should I say her personal gain?"

Analyzing and Improving: Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Having never read the comic I cannot in good faith improve the 'story' of Scott Pilgrim, so this review will focus on the film specifically. The movie version takes its own liberties with the plot to make for a more cinematic experience, but in my opinion even these could have been refined. Scott Pilgrim is by no means a bad film, but in some ways it fell short of the high degrees of potential that its quality earned for itself. Below are my thoughts of how with a few slight considerations that potential might have been fully reached
1: Gorgeous Production
Scott Pilgrim is imaginatively and excitingly directed, edited and in many cases animated. The colors are primary and vibrant making it at all times even in mundane scenes look like a living comic book. Incorporating sound effects in words, captions, and video game related elements really lends a unique flavor to the proceedings and when they work they best they co

Bio: Known for his skills in hand to hand combat to resemble a video game, Scott Pilgrim was an ordinary lazy guy until he met Ramona Flowers. In love, Scott faced and defeated her Seven Evil Exs and won each battle; gaining her heart in the end.
Battle Bio: Scott is more of a combo ready character. To clarify, most of his special moves end in wall bounces, giving him the chance for unleashing devastating combos. He's not great as an assist character but can be a good anchor if used properly. If used correctly, a mastered Scott player can unleash around 100+ mil. Damage in a single combo

After the final fight with the last of the League of Evil Ex's Gideon Graves, Scott and his lover Ramona Flowers reconciled and moved into her home together. After much lazing around the house, Ramona had told him to get off his lazy butt and get a job. With the help of his friend Stephen Stills, he was able to find work at The Happy Avocado, a vegeterian resturant.
His position is basically just being a dish washer and a food prep trainee to boot. Nothing too bad and he didn't exactly hate it. He just simply couldn't wait to get home, play games and make love to sweet, sweet Ramona. The time was finally nine o'clock, his shift was over. He put on his jacket and walked home down Toronto with a neutral look on his face.
Finally, he reached the Flowers residence after missing the bus. He opened the door to find it empty except the furniture. No Ramona in sight. He sighed disappointly but he relented, she'll come back soon. He lay down o

Ah, Scott Pilgrim. A somewhat oddball combination of Street Fighter, video game references, indie music, hipster dialogue and other fascinating traits. The best part is? It somehow completely works, if you can get into the vibe, I'm told.
I've read the books. Unfortunately, as a somewhat straightforward person, myself, I didn't exactly get all the humor or subtle nuances myself. (Remember, you're talking to a guy who gave Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen a recommendation.) However, while I didn't get all the 'hipster' logic myself, I did enjoy all the video game references and the self-parody of the comic.
However, one of the biggest draws must be the prescene of director Edgar Wright, director of the sharp satires Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
So, with all that in mind, let's review Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

But you slid right past my open hand.
I ordered you my package,
And invited you to see my band.
You smiled at me through the snowstorm,
We talked all night on the swings,
In the air, there was a door.
You took my hand in the snow.
The door lead to your apartment,
In your kitchen there was you and me,
There was a table and chairs,
and a thousand kinds of tea.
It's cold out there, but it was cold inside,
We'll make it warm here in your bed.
Behind your smile you cannot hide.
I hope this isn't a one-night stand.

One by one they are defeated
He needs no fancy powers
To win that lady over
Because he stays alive
So he never has game over
He's got a pocket full of change
From all his enemies, he has beat
Extra lives and power ups
Gives him the will to fight on
Kicks his way to success
He's the boy who rocks
In a band, so grand
He's sometimes hard to understand
But he kicks butt
For loves sake
And that my friend
Is the icing on the cake
Does he vs. the world?

Foxx and Owl - Part 1Foxx and Owl - Part 12 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"Shit," she stammered through chattering teeth. "Where the hell is Owl?"
Foxx waited. Wringing her fingers together tightly and hunching her shoulders, she turned her back to the lower city winds. The stone bench she had made her perch for the past 45 minutes wasn't the warmest place to kill time, but she had suffered worse. She tapped the nose of her mask, bored, all the time wondering what was taking Owl so long.
Foxx always wore her mask in public; a red fox mask with vacant yellow eyes. She pulled her lightweight jacket tighter around her body, shivering all the while, waiting. The wind existed to be unforgiving today.
A jingle caught Foxx's attention and she jerked her head in the direction of the noise. "Damnit," she cursed. It was just the door to the old Chinese noodle shop opening. One of the waiters swept th

Where do I begin with this? Because this particular is such a mix mash of everything people know about that it's kind of impossible to start with a review on such a film. I mean, anyone reading this; do you video games? Do you have girlfriends? If so, are their ex-boyfriends or girlfriends evil and want to fight you? Well, if you happen to be Scott Pilgrim, good luck. Okay in all seriousness, yes, I have recently watched the cult favorite Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Perhaps it might be too early to call it a cult favorite but considering the film did very well on DVD and Blu-Ray than at the box office, I think it's justified considering the film's fanbase as well its established fanbase for those who read the comic before.
However, I did not see it in theaters when it came out on August 13th of 2010. And yes, I freely admit that I'm one of the people who went to see The Expendables although to be fair, that was the obvious outcome since The Expendables had been hyped since its announc

Ramona Flowers (Age 24) was really tired of snow. Seriously. It wasn't beautiful or pure to her anymore, just cold and wet. Of course, in Canada, snow was pretty much everywhere. It had stopped snowing, though, when she rolled into a local video rental store. One lone girl manned the shop and smiled at Ramona and the package in her hands.
"Marcus moved at last, huh?" The Girl asked, pushing some dark hair behind her ear before taking the package to sign. Ramona nodded awkwardly. The Girl suddenly asked, "Do you have plans for tonight? Wanna come to a party?"
