Hello everyone. Back again it seems with a new review of the latest Korra episode. Enjoy!
What I Liked
Oh yea, this was totally an ‘Asami rocks’ episode, and by god did I love it! Let’s face it; without Asami Korra would’ve ended up right in the Earth Queen’s hands, and later on it was she who both lead the fixing of the ship and the later creation of the sand-sailors. It was her ingenuity and cunning that ultimately saved Korra and the crew on the ship several times.
I dunno about you guys, but about damn time. Asami has had her moments, but sadly she is often forced into the background which is a massive shame because she is often the best teenager character in the Legend of Korra. This however was her episode to show off and remind us just how integral she is to the team.
Enjoy this Asami. You’ll probably be forgotten next episode

Germany: Captain of Goliath, one of the best military strategists in the entire world. Like Russia, has a knack for creating automatons, but unlike Russia, they are gigantic and anything but human-looking. He is under the impression that Prussia is dead.
Japan: Second Captain of Goliath and pilot, extremely silent and cares about nothing but honor. Will do anything, even if it means sacrificing his own life, to win a battle. Exceptionally good at hand-to-hand combat.
Italy and Romano: Soldiers aboard the Goliath that are in charge of weapons. Romano is exceptionally good at making guns, while Italy is good at making grenades, flash bombs, and anything in that area. Twins. Romano is older by 5 minutes. But while they are good at making weapons, they both are better off shooting guns.
Netherlands: The ship’s mechanic. He refuses to allow the Goliath to fly unless everything is perfect and in or

The navigator, Faolon De Louzac Silverflame, of the fine and upstanding Airship Iron Shark was out time traveling in hopes of amassing a delicious assortment of precious stones, golden bobbles, bronze bells and other forms of portable wealth with which to decorate her person. Mostly she was bored.
And as such the most fine lady Silerflame found herself trying to use her truly magnificent bosom to distract a member of the Beefeaters to keep the man from calling out to his fellow Tower Of London guards to help him with the intruder he had found in the treasure room. (And that is another tale in and of itself)
All she succeeded in doing was getting herself back into her time machine and as the man was raising both his crossbow and the alarm, our fair navigator simultaneously shoved the power control to full red line ain’t got no more and the destination controls to anywhere but here. “Go go GO”

Tumbler's bottles (5 of 27)The bottles stare down at the girl as she sleeps the drink off. Suppose it's worth mentioning the bottles. No one else is going to see them again. Pinpin is bittersweet, pulls back old memories. Terran Mule is made from the poke grass that grows beneath the beach palms. It tastes like licking those same palms. Bayquira Whiskey has the strength to down a sailor in under three shots. Not surprising that the doctor always had a bottle at hand. White Ssinssin is actually yellow under the light. A full glass will push thoughts of running away far out of mind. Storm Floor Bitter is fiery and hot, but doesn't taste like much beyond that. Tin Stomper Ale is strained through the gills of fish that the couple netted out of the spire's bay. It's clear and crisp and smells like fresh rain. Bramblebush Wine is thicker than it should be, stronger than it should be, redder than it should be, and takes more time than it should. A slow drink for a slow day. Inside Tumbler (4 of 26)She stumbles inside the first building she sees, feathers stuck to her clothes and hair. Blackwings took a piece of her with them. She didn't see the sign outside on account of the wings beating at her face. She doesn't know she's stepped into Tumbler, only bar on this spire. Everything they could think to turn into liquor, and some stuff that can't all the same. The Girl collapses. She's not thinking about drinking. Well, not until she looks up, that is. She sees all the bottles, lined up ready to go on parade, and she starts wondering. Girl's never had a serious drink before. She's never been in a mess like hers before neither though. Goes from bottle to bottle, reads each label, then turns away. Wonders aloud after the couple who run Tumbler. Doesn't know the couple, never did, never will. Dream - Howler on a beach (6 of 27)The ebshine takes the Girl down, sending her rolling in the waves, rolling in the dreams. She sees herself washed ashore again, only not on the spire's shore. The island's like the spire, but it's not piercing through the sky, no. It's lying on a bed of water, stretching far and away. She stands on the shore and looks out over the bright deep blue. She's never seen anything like it. For a time, the Girl just stands and stares, listens to the birds sing, to the waves crash. She looks up the beach and sees another shipwrecked soul, another stranger. She doesn't move though, just watches as the surf throws him about, pushes him up higher, until he rolls over and sits up. A massive Howler flaps down, larger than she's ever seen. Four brown wings kick up the sand around the boy that's washed ashore. She hears the bird howl, hears it call, hears it shout. She understands the words, knows they're meant for her. Howlers are old animals. They give wisdom or they take life, as they see fit. The sunlight flowed through the stained glass windows. It glittered on the fine, silver spiderweb that adorned the crack in one lattice window, and shafts of the light streaked the heavily-clothed bed. It was perfectly quiet except for the loud voice.
The young German soldier scrambled onto his feet. "Yes? What?"
"Blitz, you shouldn't be dosing around like that at this hour. It's dangerous."
Blitz looked around. "How? It's not dawn yet. I need to sleep."
The other man towered over the tall soldier. "How? I'll tell you how. When you're sleeping, the English could simply pull this tiny little ring on this grenade, and throw it into our trench like how their cousins throw shotputs. Then, one, two, three, you're out!" He said jokingly, indicating the silver igniter on his grenade with his finger.
"Yes, yes, I get it," Blitz answered, waving his hand in front of his face. "I get it now. Can you take on the watchman duty?"

We've done it.
As I lay down my tools for the last time,
Here stands before me the fruit of my labour.
This night, a technology beyond its time has been born.
She truly is beautiful.
A skin of wood and brass,
And a heart of gears and steam
Come together to create life.
Her propellers shine like buttons in the low light.
Soon I'll climb up and take the wheel,
And steer her to new horizons,
But where will she go? That,
I don't think I know quite yet.
It's just a pity to know that
After I'm dead and gone,
I won't know what'll happen to her.
Will she be quite the same without me at the helm?
But this I promise:
As long as I am alive,
I shall never leave her alone.
Her and I, an inseparable duo.
Always going to new places, trying new things.
She is my creation. And that is a fact that I shall never allow time to take from me...

Ah, the Airship. The peak of my physical achievement. A product of imagination in a landscape of pure boredom and dullness. Trust me, the only reason I built her was to get off my homeplanet and just go somewhere more exciting. Obviously all the other shenanigans came with that but back when I was building the big girl, I had no idea that was what would happen.
Y'see... On my homeplanet, I was a stick in the mud. I was an over imaginative, quirky kid who wore welding googl

Poland: First Captain of the Phoenix, hence the name of the ship. Despite his rather girly way of living, he is organized in the way he leads and sometimes comes up with military strategies off the top of his head that seem to work. Doesn’t really like the Nautilus because of Russia.
Lithuania: Second Captain, pretty much handles paperwork and trade. He is hesitant to make commands, but would never let a comrade down, no matter how high the risk.
Estonia: excellent military strategist, and extremely technology-savvy. The Phoenix’s weapons are all of his design. He is also in charge of the messenger system in the Phoenix. More to come on that.
Latvia: kind of like the “Sealand” of the Phoenix. He’s everywhere, constantly trying to find something to do, and he does whatever the other crew members tell him to.
Ukraine: Phoenix’s cook. She is one of the best cooks around a

The group entered a room that appeared to be closed off ahead, but as they stepped in, the door closed behind them, trapping them in the room.
“Now what? Not lava again?!” Ruto asked.
Just then, the group was surrounded by a group of Armored Dinolfos, ready to hack the heroes into pieces… only to be disabled without warning by a few cannonballs smashing on top of them, making the group blink.
“What the-?!” They all said in unison.
“Hey, you!” A female voice then came from above.
Link and the Sages looked up and saw a woman whom was piloting some kind of aircraft coming towards them. It was a Gerudo woman, whom had a smile on her face. At first, the group blinked at this, but then the ship came to a halt next to the platform the group stood on, making the group blink at her. Link was the first to speak.
“Reimu?! How did you get here?!” He asked.

Respawning is usually just a term used in games. After the technologic revolution caused by YogLabs, it became a regular part of life with everyone who had pretty much died randomly teleporting to a chosen... Or a random location. It was sometimes in teeny bit faulty.
For Duncan, this is kind of what happened.
Simon had launched the rocket. Hell knows how he managed it given there was a minuscule amount of fuel left in it. And then Kabooyah! Everything went and exploded, and them with it. He hadn't seen a non-lunar explosion of a rocket before so he was interested in how big the aftermath would be. Given that the place was already wrecked, he wondered how much more damage it could take. His thoughts were cut short as the explosion finally killed him, causing the Respawning Mechanism to convert his body into a solid granite tombstone containing all of his gear and transferring his essence into a new clone, which was then teleported to his chosen spawn point AK
Maya (3 of 26)She stumbles onto a bench that's been carved out of wood. She breathes it in a while, the smell of the shore, the water hole, and now the town, carved out of pale, sun-bleached wood, each with its own smell. It'd be a sight to see, if she hadn't just lost her all. The Girl can see the land rise up behind the town. Green climbs up in levels. A waterfall falls from a high cliff, the mountain rising higher still behind it. It's a short spire she's crashed on. At the very top, she sees the dome, glinting and sparkling in the sun like a jewel. She don't know it yet, but she's going to stand at the top before she leaves. But she doesn't know it yet, so she just looks. She walks through the town of Maya, reading off buildings as she passes them. A library. A market house. Girl's stomach growls like a beast. A store. A town hall. A bath house. Every wood building topped with palms bridged to high points, all still as stone. No one about, no one peaking out at her from cracked windows. Gongfall Swamp (8 of 27)Trees fall away to cliff side. Girl looks up and sees the high spire rise above her. She looks down and sees the cloud floor below her. She follows the path out of the Woods. It winds around the side of the spire, thinning to just a trail until her hand's on the cliff face. She follows the curve, walking down the spiral staircase worn away into the mountain side. She stops when she hears the gongs. Deep ringing shouting out the fall of loose rocks tumbling down from above. Rocks fall and hit the logs, hit the still, stagnant water, hit the stretched shell of the water's surface, and sounds out loud, each pocket of swamp a different mountain drum. Happens often enough that the monks that built the temple at the foot of the swamp didn't see the need for gongs and bells of their own. They just opened the front doors and listened. Good thing her keen friend was at hand. It bites into the trail's lip, and she hangs on for her sweet life. Her way goes slower after that. Heart racing, axe in hand, testing every step. She makes it back up and spots the edge of the Woods. More Blackwings come to visit. They wheel down and try to make dinner out of the Girl. Doesn't work out for them, and the Girl pulls together a fire to cook her meal. She leaves camp and starts up again, climbing the stretched grasslands of the Eastface Pass. Only guarded travellers took the pass after the Woods bit back. Up on the spire wasn't any less trouble. Jillgers latch onto the walls, hanging down and blending in until the Girl gets close. Of course, they didn't figure the critters living in the Chalice wouldn't be too keen on having neighbours. She throws herself to the ground as a line of spikes shoot out of the bay, dead set on filling her with holes. Spinerns float just beneath the water. They taste pretty good over a fire, but getting one there, that's another story. The Girl runs towards the line of small houses, all unlocked, all empty. Not a living soul on this rock. The Daylight Tunnels (13 of 27)She makes her way up to the Daylight Tunnels. It's dark looking in, and it takes a breath for her to find the first mirror. Not much glass on the spire. Just a few bits scavenged from shipwrecks, and the occasional blasted black sheets that turns up in the Desert whenever the storms spit lightning. That didn't stop the caves threading the spire being lit. Here's an old Rim trick: most every land has metal buried in its rocks, and folk work hard to get it out, melt it down and buff it up to a shine. This spire was no different, and the way up through the hill is marked by polished metal bowls at every turn, catching and bouncing daylight as it comes up in the morning until it sets at night. The caverns up into the mountains were hollowed out long ago. Mostly carved out by water. The Girl hears the steady trickle behind the stone as she climbs through the caves.
