It was a rainy day when I decided to go to the mall to hang out while the rain came down in sheets and flooded the streets. I stepped out of my mothers car, bade her goodbye, and walked through the automatic doors at the JC Pennys entrance. I shook rain off my coat and dried off the bottom of my shoes.
I dawdled in the juniors section, slowly making my way to the exit that led out into the mall. Smells from the food court reached my nostrils and my stomach growled impatiently. I promptly left the store and grabbed myself a cheeseburger and an iced coffee. I window shopped innocently, sipping my frozen latte, passing stores whose windows constantly bore posters of the Twilight variety. I rolled my eyes and scoffed at each poster, looking like a snoot to those who passed me by. Although this thought, rather than bothering me, made me laugh. In the end I ended up snorting coffee up my nose and quit l

“Why am I doing this again?” you huff as you trudged through the snow that was blanketing the sidewalk.
You were close to reaching your destination, a bookshop, but it was not just ANY bookshop it was the bookshop “he” worked at.
You mentally scolded yourself time and time again for your weak willed nature when it comes to this; you would come in everyday just to see the counter boy.
You had never spoken to him, nor have you ever even attempted to approach the boy but you were already in love with him!
You opened the door to the store and stepped inside the warm bookstore instantly running for cover when the boy looked up at you from the counter with those alluring chocolate brown eyes.
That’s when you realized something, there was no one in the store and you were alone with the boy who made you feel butterflies in your stomach with just a glance.
“I was wondering if you’d show up, it’s snowing pretty hard out there” you jumped at t
SwedenxReader - The BookstoreLooking around under the Fiction section of the library, you searched hard. You looked at the clock - one-thirty. It had already been half an hour since you started searching, but you still could not find the book you were looking for.SwedenxReader - The Bookstore2 years ago in Romance More Like This
Sighing, you got up and walked over to the librarian. She smiled.
"May I help you with something?"
You smiled back weakly and asked, "Do you know where the book [favourite book] would be in this library?"
Thinking for a moment, the kind woman pointed to the section you had just been scrutinizing.
"It would be over there."
You sighed, thanked her, and walked out of the library. It had been a while since you had read the book and you wanted to read it again. You had your mind set on finding it, and you would.
Walking down the street, you noticed a bookstore that you did not ever notice in the past. It was small and in between a clothing store and a market. Entering the store, you heard a bell go off on the top of the door.
You gazed around the sma

"Yup, all clear." Desmond slipped his hand into Shaun's, pulling him down the busy street.
"I still don't believe we're doing this." Shaun muttered. Desmond turned his head back to smile at his lover.
"If what I heard about this place is true, then it'll make everyone's job a lot quicker." The former bartender slid into a store, and Shaun blinked.
It was a book store. Shaun felt his mouth twitch into a smile, and he slid behind a few shelves, studying the spines.
Desmond's voice floated through the shop, asking about any works by Da Vinci. Shaun scanned more books, his fingers brushing over ancient spines and decrepit leather tomes.
A small leather journal caught his eye. Pulling it free, Shaun unbound the heavy clasp, his fingers prying apart the ancient pages.
Words flowed across the parchment in an undecipherable language. Shaun's mouth tugged into a smirk, and he slid

You hummed a little tune as you walked down the sidewalk. You were heading to your favorite bookstore and that always put you in a good mood. You walked around the corner and smiled when you saw the sign. The little bell above the door clanged as you walked in. Your smile got bigger and you made your way back to the fantasy section.
You skimmed the titles on one of the upper shelves. You were looking for the next book in the series you were reading. You ran your fingertip along the spines of the books as you walked down the aisle. You finally made it to the series you were reading. You stopped on the book you wanted. Your hand wasn't the only one there though. You looked in surprise to see a man about the same age as you, in the same position as you. Your fingertips and his were barely touching and they were resting on the same book.
"I'm sorry Miss!" he said quickly, pulling his hand away.
"Oh no! It's fine!" you said with a grin. You noticed that he sounded British.
You stood in an a
