Introducing someone who technically doesn’t exist
Should be easy:
There shouldn’t be much to say after all.

But it’s not that easy to explain a person,
Who exists merely in a shell of invisibility
To protect herself from the world.

Sm(lie)s conceal tears
Like long sleeves conceal scars.
You see the shell of smiling sleeves,
The mask that hides her
And makes her non-existent...
But she cannot bear to introduce you to the crying scars:
That which does exist beneath the shell
Does feel...
And hates it.

She hides how she feels,
That she feels,
Behind walls of sm(lie)s
And FINEs...
Walls of ANTs you cannot cross,
So you cannot get to her
To hurt her,
Or get to know her.

“Have you ever asked her how she feels,
And gotten an answer
That was not concealed?”

Introducing someone who exists only in a shell of invisibility
Is not easy:
They don’t only exist there;
They exist deeper than you know,
Beneath the concealing shell you see.
